I regularly receive emails and messages asking about my absolute favorite sex toys. When it comes down to it, Kinky World has over 1,400 articles – most of which are sex toys reviews – so there’s a freakin’ LOT of sex toys in my possession, and I obviously can’t use them all all the time. (Not without dying probably the happiest death possible.)
So, with that in mind, here are the sex toys that stay by the bedside, why they get used, and the links to any applicable reviews.
(As a fun fact, it’s really neat to see how OLD some of these original reviews are – because I’m still using the same toy from the original review post dates. That’s some high-quality stuff.)
My Best Toys for the Vagina
Weird way to word it, but you get the idea. These are the toys that get pulled out if focusing on clitoral, vaginal, and g-spot areas is on the menu. It might be used solo for masturbation – or it could be used partnered while the focus is using them on me. It just depends on what’s going on.
I tend to vastly prefer clitoral stimulation (and need it to orgasm), but that could partly be because my g-spot is extremely deep – and my clitoris is pretty far away from the vaginal entrance as well – which requires independent stimulation during intercourse. (Most rabbit vibrators don’t hit my clit while inserted into the vagina.)
Either way, these toys focus on pleasuring the parts of a vagina.
Lora DiCarlo Baci
Brand new to the staple of must-have sex toys, the Lora DiCarlo Baci blows the sensations of my other Womanizer suction toys out of the water. As I’ve mentioned in my Lora DiCarlo Baci review, it (surprisingly) has become a hands-free toy that I can use while doing other things.

Unfortunately, shortly after release, Lora DiCarlo disappeared without a trace, taking the rest of their Bacis with them. I loved this toy enough to desperately try to find just one left to buy, and I failed. I treat this vibrator with serious kid gloves because of it.
Womanizer Plus
I’m grumpy that Womanizer discontinued this one because it really, really did work better for plus-sized bodies. A lot of the current air suction toys have the smallest protruding nubbin to target the clitoris, but the Plus has a fantastically deep tip that works really well for getting between thicker vulva lips. That being said, I love the hell out of my Womanizer Plus, and it stays on the bedside table. (Not even in a drawer. On the TABLE.)
I’m still using the original one from 2017 from my Womanizer Plus review. Like the Baci, I, again, will cry when it stops working.
We-Vibe Nova 2
I’m generally not a huge rabbit vibrator fan, but the We-Vibe Nova 2 turned me around on that one. The g-spot end hits my g-spot when I’m really, really turned on, and the fact that the clitoral arm makes constant contact AND is powerful makes the Nova 2 pretty much the only rabbit vibrator I use on a semi-regular basis. It’s overwhelmingly pleasurable, and I love the sensations it provides. We mostly use this as a couple’s toy for him to use it on me, but I’m more than happy to be on the receiving end of that.

Womanizer W100
Yes, yes, This is one of the OG Womanizers, but it actually stays on my computer desk constantly to be available for use. The sensations pale in comparison to the Plus or the Baci, but it’s still strong in its own right – and it’s very much usable and orgasmic. (On that note, I miss the actual, rigid cases that Womanizer toys used to come with. I’m tired of these “drawstring bag” things like it’s a reasonable substitute.)
I’m still using the original one from 2016 from the Womanizer W100 Review. It’s very, very discontinued by now.
Lovense Domi 2
I was not expecting the Domi 2 to unseat every wand massager I own, but here we are. That being said, the Domi 2 only gets pulled out when I want an absolutely guaranteed orgasm with no fuss. It’s strong, it’s ridiculously powerful, and it can be orgasmic in less than 15 seconds. (No kidding. No stimulation to orgasm in 15 seconds.)
Its power doesn’t really allow for easy edging or “drawing out” the sensation, but when I for-sure want an easy orgasm for whatever reason, it lives on the bedside table. (As a note, the Lovense app works flawlessly too. I love using the Domi 2 with the musical-sync setting as it allows the vibrations to be drawn out a bit more.)

Rocks-Off Ruby Glow Dusk
I own multiple copies of this toy because it’s my go-to option for grinding pleasure. Made from a rigid plastic body that’s nicely covered by silicone, this toy slides really nicely between the labia for targeted clitoral pleasure when grinding. I honestly have never turned the vibrations on; I simply like the firm pressure of the toy’s shape. (It does have battery-operated vibrations, though, for those who are more adventurous than I!)
It’s surprisingly cheap, lightweight, and works perfectly at my computer desk (and any other chairs where I’ve tried it.)

Bent Graduate Glass Dildo
If I’m looking solely for g-spot stimulation, this is always, always where I go. The Bent Graduate is the absolute perfect fit for my deep g-spot even when most g-spot toys don’t even get near it. It glides in easily, hits the spot effortlessly, is easy to handle, and cleans up really well. I’m also not a fan of reapplying lube too often, and the glass of the Bent Graduate lasts a long time without reapplication. I’m still using my one from 2010 (seriously!), but I’ve bought a metric buttload of these to give to friends as gifts – because they’re cheap, safe, and seriously, seriously effective.

Honorable Mention: Lovense Lush 2
I absolutely loooove the sensations of the Lovense Lush. I’m not usually a huge vaginal-sensation person, but partner this with a gentle breeze on the clitoris, I think the Lush could be genuinely orgasmic for me. It only gets an “honorable mention” at the moment since I purchased it for public play – and I haven’t gotten to try it that way yet.
Even better for you, though, Lovense released an upgrade, so you can actually pick up the Lovense Lush 3 instead.
My Best Toys for Pleasing a Penis
Here are the toys that get pulled out constantly for penis pleasure. In most cases, these are toys that I use on him, but these are also the toys that he leaves out for his own solo use on occasion as well. (Poor boy is definitely “overworked” in the bedroom.) We love playing with a ton of edging and orgasm denial situations, but he does orgasm relatively easily, so we like to stick with toys that allow for instant control of sensations to prevent him from cumming before I want him to.
Tenga Spinner
The Tenga Spinner has really, really surprised us. One of the cheapest items on this entire list, it’s still awesome. He loves the sensation that the coil provides, and we both love how the coil feels under the hands while using it.
One of the neater things is how variable you can make the sensation. Hold the Tenga Spinner in one spot, and it feels like a tease. Hold it in another spot, and it can be instant orgasm. It really depends on how you use it!
We’ve actually gone and purchased a couple of the textures after our positive experiences of the first one for my Tenga Spinner review.
I don’t expect these to last as long as some of the other options, but at $30-ish a pop, I don’t really mind. (We got our first ones in 2020, and all of them are still currently in weekly use. Multiple years out of cheap strokers? I’m sold.)
Fleshlight Fleshskins Blue Ice
I’m really, really in love with this weird, funky toy. Not only does it let me see the penis underneath, but it feels fantastic in my hands – and feels just as amazing when my hand is wrapped around the penis. The sensations feel great for him too, but this one mostly stays in constant rotation because I love how it feels when I use it – less-so for the sensations that it provides. (Still very orgasmic, though!)

Hot Octopuss Pulse Solo Lux
This penis vibrator is fantastic for when his erection isn’t cooperating – or even when it is. When put into a specific position, the Hot Octopuss Pulse Solo Lux is pretty much hands-free for both of us.
I wear the remote control (for the vibrations) on my wrist, and once we get it settled, it mostly stays in place on his penis.

Not “quite” a toy for the penis – but also not quite “not”, the Liberator Top Dog gets pulled out semi-often as an easy surface for hands-free thrusting into a Fleshlight. I particularly enjoy the visual when we use it for couple’s use – but he generally chooses to handhold the Fleshlight for solo use. KIIROO KEON
I love the hell out of this automated penis stroking machine. Not only is it super pleasurable for him, but the app control for it is flippin’ fantastic from a femdom point-of-view. It connects in seconds flawlessly, and then I can use my cell phone to control the toy while he holds it in place. We rarely go over 5% stroke speed (you can control both stroke speed and stroke length) because it will have him cumming in seconds. Very pleasurable for him and very fun for me to control. My Best Toys for Anal Pleasure
Out of the two of us, he is definitely the self-proclaimed “anal slut”. With that in mind, pretty much all of these toys are options that we use on him. He has a shallower prostate, and he enjoys anal stretching and thicker toys as well.
Nexus REVO Extreme
If you’re someone who loves thicker toys and prostate stimulation, I’m pretty sure you’re going to love the Nexus REVO Extreme. We do. This one stays near the bedside because it’s one of the few hands-free prostate toys that we have that reliably (and easily) works for him for hands-free prostate orgasms – even if he hasn’t been denied orgasm for awhile.
It’s a hulk of a toy, though; make sure you pay attention to the measurements before picking it up. Even for us and his anal stretching hobby, this is a toy that requires a bit of time to slide inside.

XR Brands Thump-It Plug
This one is so fun. Instead of vibrating or rotating (like the Nexus REVO Extreme, above, does), the Thump-It Plug has a small ball inside the chamber that forcefully moves from one end of the plug to the other. When done with high force, this essentially makes the XR Brands Thump-It Plug “thrust” into the butt with micromovements.
I dislike the button on the base of the plug (too hard to press), but the remote-control makes it easy for some femdom play, and this one stays nicely charged up and ready for regular play too. (It comes in smaller sizes too!)

We have a whole collection of these in various sizes (XL, 2XL, 3XL) – because they work. The silicone feels fantastic and super-plush, and we’ve talked a few friends into buying these after they handled ours. They’re hefty plugs – but they do their job if you’re looking for some serious anal stretching.
Bad Dragon Rex

This is one of my favorite toys to hand-hold – though I hate using it on a strap-on harness (too floppy). I love how the “knot” provides an easy stopping point that keeps the lube on the shaft – and well away from the base where it would make it difficult to hand-hold. He absolutely loves the shape of the toy, and this is one of those toys that we tend to do really fast thrusts with (without the knot).
Vixen Creations Maverick
He absolutely loves this toy for anal use, and it will get another mention below as it’s our toy of choice for pegging use too. Something about the pronounced head and the silicone dildo’s thickness are beyond orgasmic for him, and despite bringing a metric buttload of dildos into the bedroom, this one still lives on as a constant one that sits on the bedside (or at the sink, depending on where it’s at in its cleaning cycle).

b-Vibe Rimming Plug
I’ve been praising the b-Vibe’s remote control capabilities for years, and this is the one that got us started on it. (We’ve since used quite a few others). The b-Vibe Rimming Plug has gone in public with us many, many a time (more than we’ve used it in the bedroom, honestly), and the remote control capabilities handle flawlessly. The plug feels really feeling and orgasmic for him, and I trust the remote control to behave pretty reliably.

The Rabbit Company Prostate Rabbit
This is another toy that we used to use in public pretty often – and despite being from a company I don’t see much about, it’s 100% amazing. (We’ve talked a few of our friends into it, too, and they love theirs).
The remote-controlled functionality is amazing, and it works flawlessly while in public. The noise level is quiet, but the shape of the toy is well-done-enough that it could be orgasmic in public (though we haven’t pushed it that far yet.)
The only downside? The Prostate Rabbit doesn’t have that well-designed of a retention area, so it tends to slide out of the butt unless you wear some pretty tight underwear. If I’m really into the idea of him wearing a plug out in public but don’t want to fuss with a remote (or we have a concern about noise levels), we lean towards the b-Vibe Snug Plugs. Unlike most of the anal toys on this list, this snug plug stays in with absolutely zero concern – and he can pee while wearing it with no concerns either. Wicked Jelle Lube
If it isn’t going near my vagina, it’s probably going to get lubricated with Wicked Jelle lube. (Though I’ve never had any vaginal infections from the Jelle, I’m a creature of habit and worry and tend to use the Good Clean Love lube below for vaginal instead.) This means that the Wicked Jelle is pretty much our water-based lubricant of choice for pretty much anything. We go through this stuff like water because we’re easily using it nearly every day. He loves to use it for edging and masturbation sessions, and this is also the lube of choice for anal stretching sessions – or any anal penetration at all.

Good Clean Love Lube
For the longest time, I was a serious lover of Blossom Organics lubricant. (I still love it!) To avoid making this list ridiculously expansive, I’ve focused on sex toys and sex acts (and penetration) versus attempting to include kink toys and kink experiences – because that’d essentially be a whole, ridiculously-long post to itself! (Maybe a post I’ll get to at some point?)
Spareparts Joque
This is, by far, my strap-on harness of choice. It’s one of the main reasons I started loving pegging again (seriously, those cheap harnesses are just not worth it). It fits like a glove, puts the dildo against my clitoris where I want it, and is so damn durable that I’ve been using it for over ten years now. The same harness. Not to mention, it’s entirely machine washable, so my lazy ass can just toss it into the washing machine and dryer to have a completely-clean harness again.

No More Wet Spot Blanket
I absolutely love this blanket. I have a pretty serious pee kink, so it gets way more use than most of the other items on this list – not to mention, for a blanket that’s only designed for ejaculation and sex fluids, it holds up amazingly to full-bladder usage. I highly, highly recommend it. It’s much less crinkly than the Liberator Throw, and it stays in place a whole lot better as well. Plus, it’s made by a small company!

Liberator Wedge
We own a lot of Liberator shapes – not to brag, but just to tell you how much I love the Liberator Wedge. Out of our Liberator collection for penis-in-vagina sex, it’s my favorite. It’s large enough to support my weight (unlike the Liberator Jaz, which compresses way too much) while also being able to support my partner’s weight too (though it’s overkill for him). I love how it works for missionary since it puts me in the perfect spot for g-spot pleasure, and I also love how it elevates the butt/genitals really nicely if someone is going to be using sex toys on the other person. It reduces the drag and awkward spacing issue of someone lying flat on the bed by a large margin.

Liberator Bon Bon
I love, love, love watching my partner be pleasured. While I can enjoy that view during pegging, it’s a whole lot easier if he isn’t located a foot away from my face.
When we want to make that happen, we use the Liberator BonBon. He can easily straddle the BonBon to slide a dildo inside, and I can watch from a comfortable, easy-to-see distance. We use it often for kinky play (it’s great for jerk off instructions), but it’s also really helpful for when I want to play with him but aren’t necessarily wanting a ton of skin-on-skin contact. Another strap-on harness. Surprise, surprise! The Spareparts Deuce is another harness that gets pulled out often when I’m doing femdom/humiliation play and not allowing him to have sex with me. We can easily partner it with whatever my dildo is at the moment.
(In a snap, he has worn the Spareparts Joque harness of mine, and that works wonderfully as well! The Deuce just feels more comfortable for him – especially his balls.)

Fun Factory VIM
The newest addition to the bedside table is the Fun Factory VIM. (Honestly, though, it travels all over the house. The only place it never ends up is back in its box.)
I love it for the deep, rumbly vibrations and the smooth silicone that feels erotic AF. I love that the softer settings are usually more-than-enough for orgasm, but if we had a night of drinking, the highest settings can still get me off.
And he loves it for vibrations when erection isn’t happening or isn’t an end goal. The ability to micro-adjust the vibration intensities means that I can easily tease him with it for a long, long time. Partner that with those rumbly vibrations, and we have a toy that can tease and deny for awhile without numbing him.
Honestly, if I only could have one wand massager in my possession, it’d probably be this one – even over my Magic Wands. (It’d be a close competition with my Domi 2, though! The VIM wins because of its wider range of vibrations. The VIM still has some gentler speeds while the Domi 2, while more powerful than the VIM at the highest levels, has powertool levels.)

Vixen Creations Maverick
I covered the Vixen Creations Maverick a bit up above, so I don’t want to go too far into it aside to say that it’s our absolute-favorite “smaller” dildo for us for anal and pegging. It’s generally our to-go dildo for any pegging unless he’s been actively stretching for larger toys. I know this one will always go in comfortably, and something about the pronounced head really hits his prostate really well.
(Note: The Maverick is NOT small for most. However, with his anal stretching preferences, it slides it easily. When we’re talking about regularly using dildos like the BFG or the Gambler, the Maverick is smaller in comparison.)
Honorable Mention: Now that we’re doing a lot more experimentation with him wearing the strap-on harness, a discontinued VixSkin dildo has become my favorite “penis” of choice to receive. (the dildo on the left, shown above) The soft, plushiness of the VixSkin dual-density silicone is the most realistic that I’ve really ever found out there (seriously, VixSkin is flippin’ amazing), and it fits really nicely into a harness. Over the past however-many-years-it-has-been, the bases on the Vixen Creations toys seem to warp into something convex (instead of the original concave design), but they still work fantastically.
XR Brands Queening Chair
With a back injury, we hadn’t been doing much oral sex on me. The angle required pulls his back in an uncomfortable manner.
The XR Brands Queening Chair pretty much changed the entire game. Not only is it really comfortable for him to lay under, but it takes all of my weight off of his face – and allows him to breathe when he needs to breathe. It doesn’t put my legs to sleep while I’m trying to receive pleasure, and it generally allows me to focus on the sensation and allows him to be comfortable while we’re at it. (As a fun bonus, it also happens to allow me to lean forward and play with his penis if I’m feeling that.)
It’s probably the most comfortable queening/facesitting I’ve ever done or felt. It really allows me to relax into the pleasure instead of worrying about placing too much weight on him, his breathing, my quaking thighs, or 800 other things.
