Getting your Fleshlight warmer is a quick, easy improvement that instantly makes things feel more realistic. Here are some different ways to do that:
Use Basic Water
Did you know that your Fleshlight could be run under warm water for a more realistic experience? Run it under warm water or let it sit in a warm water bowl for a couple of minutes before playing with it. To reduce slippage, take the sleeve itself out of the plastic case and only place the sleeve in the water. Quickly pat dry (to avoid dripping) before sliding it back into the plastic case. If you’re willing to spend a little bit of cash, nowadays, you can pick up a Fleshlight Sleeve Warmer stand that will have your sleeve all nice-and-toasty before you begin – no water droplets required. Warm Your Own Lube
We all know you need lube to use your Fleshlight. Drizzling chilled lube on top of a warmed Fleshlight is going to negate some of the experience, though. Instead, warm up your lube bottle at the same time as you’re warming up your Fleshlight.
Let the closed bottle of your preferred lube soak in a glass of hot water for that 5 to 10 minutes. (A pint glass or beer stein filled with hot water would be a great fit for this!)

Take care of your fucking Fleshlight. They’re expensive. And you don’t want to slide your dick into an unseen colony of mold. If your Fleshlight gets bacterial growth, that’s it. You have to throw it away. That’s the opposite of learning how to make Fleshlight better.
Even better, with proper care, the Fleshlight material will stay “like new” for even longer, and as you know, your stroker felt very close to the real thing when you first bought it.
Caring for a Fleshlight is not all that bad – especially since Fleshlights are one of the very few sex toys that CAN NOT be cleaned with regular soap. Fleshlight’s proprietary, skin-like TPE material breaks down with regular cleansers. If you use your hand soap on it, it will go to an early grave.
Instead, when you’re done, rinse your Fleshlight out with the hottest water you can tolerate. Scoop out all the lube and cum you can with your fingers. Ideally, you can hold it under running water for even easier dislodging. (I talk about specific finger cleaning techniques here.)
Specially-purchased Fleshlight cleanser can do any tough cleaning while an approved Renewal Powder should be used on the sleeve to keep it feeling as new and as soft as it did on day one.
When you’re done, MAKE SURE TO DRY IT. Do not put it back in the case until it is fully dried. I’m going to give you some ways to speed up that drying below, but manual, non-fancy air drying takes longer than you’d think. If you shake the stroker and water droplets still come out, it still needs to sit out longer. Our Fleshlights usually require at least a few days of sitting out before they’re fully dried.
Regardless of how well you take care of it, your Fleshlight does have a limited lifespan – though I’ve pushed some of mine to around year 10 while still feeling relatively realistic. (There’s nothing like the material’s feel on a brand-new Fleshlight, though. Try to maintain that as long as you can!)
Use a Fleshlight-Specific Dryer
One of the biggest pains in the ass about Fleshlights is letting them dry. That snug, tight channel that feels amazing during use makes for slow drying because of minimal airflow.
Fleshlight offers, essentially, a glorified fan that blows air through an opened-up sleeve. It works, though. It’s taken our usual days-long drying time and shortened it down to just 8 hours.
You can try to DIY it yourself by placing your Fleshlight in front of a household fan. It helps, but it doesn’t open up the sleeve nearly as well as Fleshlight’s branded one.
Manual Air Drying
Of course, you can just sit your Fleshlight out to dry, no accessories required. If you do that, make sure the case’s cap and lid are off the stroker to allow for optimal airflow. We’ll take the base cap off (on the side you don’t insert into) and let the Fleshlight sit upright, allowing water to drip dry its way towards the bathroom countertop. That being said, that base is a small balance point, and I’ve 100% tipped it off the countertop, onto the floor, having to clean and reset the whole drying process.
If you want something more specialized to reduce that annoyance, Fleshlight offers three “hooks” that help your Fleshlight dry. The Hang Dry allows you to hang the Fleshlight sleeve on a shower bar for drip-drying that saves counter space. The Screw Dry screws on a Fleshlight’s case base and makes it way more stable and less likely to get knocked over when upright. The Stand Dry holds the Fleshlight sleeve, naked, upright, on a countertop for full drying inside and outside of the sleeve.
Keep Experimenting to Find Your Sweet Spot
Not only can you use these tips to improve your Fleshlight experience, but you can always consider adding a new Fleshlight to your toy chest as well. With different internal textures, a different toy can add all different sensations. Happy masturbating!
