Mini Wanachi Review

Mini Wanachi
The front of the packaging

The Mini Wanachi is supposed to be an affordable, smaller version of the ever-popular Wanachi Magic Wand and it’s produced by Pipedream Products and sold at this sex toy store. It’s about seven inches long, the head is made of silicone, and the body of the toy is made of plastic. The top of the head has a diameter of a little under an inch. The head is adjustable and tilts at nearly a 90 degree angle if need be. This was meant for external use and not for internal use of any kind.

The packaging it comes with is pretty basic. The Mini Wanachi just comes in a little box slightly bigger than its own size. The box is really classy and just shows the product with a black/white gradiant in the background. The box doesn’t hold weight well, so this is only a suitable storage option if you plan on keeping this box on top of any other objects. Otherwise, the box will get crushed.

The Mini Wanachi runs on two AA batteries. The battery compartment is just at the end of the wand – much like it would be with other traditional vibrators. The batteries slide in really easily to the battery compartment, + side first. You seal the cap back on tightly, then you can use the twist dial at the bottom of the base to adjust the power of the vibrations. It goes from pretty low to a moderate-high – nothing amazingly powerful here. The vibrations are relatively quiet, but I’d say that these could be heard through a closed door if you didn’t have music or something else on.

Something that concerned me was that, during use, the battery compartment end of the vibrator started getting hot – not just warm, hot. It wasn’t anywhere near burning, but it was at a point where it would be uncomfortable to touch the magic wand in that place. I’m not sure why this happens, but I’d highly recommend against leaving this on and leaving it unattended near possibly-flammable things. I’d also probably be aware of that problem and make sure you don’t put your hand there in a fit of passion just to get scared off by the heat of the bottom cap.

The Mini Wanachi was comfortable to use. The handle is pretty easy to grip, but I found myself wishing that the handle actually had more girth to it. In fact, I found myself actually wanting the flexible head to go away. Anytime I’d want to use pressure, the head would be “flexible”. It ended up making me a little more frustrated than I’d like to be. I also found that I was wishing the vibrations were stronger. The vibrations were relatively decent, but if they had more strength, I feel like it would have been much easier to be satisfied with it.

How does this hold up compared to the Wanachi? Well, it’s just not the same. Despite being run by batteries, the Mini Wanachi is actually still less powerful than the rechargable Wanachi. The small surface area of the Mini Wanachi also seems to pale in comparison to the full-size Wanachi. The Wanachi is rechargeable and doesn’t require batteries while the Mini Wanachi requires two AA batteries. However, the Wanachi is a pain in the butt to travel with or use during sex while the Mini Wanachi is extremely easy to travel with and is tiny enough to be pretty useful during sex. It does lack the power of the full-size Wanachi though, so that’s something to consider. But it also has a cheaper price tag. Decisions, decisions…

Since the head of this sex toy is silicone, I’d recommend using water-based lubricant if you want to use lubricant. For washing, you can clean this with some antibacterial soap and some warm water to get it looking all happy again. For storage, we’ll be keeping this in the box, but you may prefer to keep it in your favorite sex toy storage container.

Overall, it’s a neat little toy that works well for travel or small spaces while still providing more power and leverage than the average bullet. It’s body-safe, comes in cute colors, and is relatively inexpensive compared to other magic wands. While this Mini Wanachi doesn’t have any specific attachments that go with it, I’m sure can you find attachments for other wands that will fit this one. This sex toy store sells massagers, so pick up the Mini Wanachi (Pink) today. It also comes in Blue and Black.
