Looking for a sexy platform heel that looks just as home in a kink dungeon as it does in the club? That’s the Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform Heels in a nutshell.
The metal, “rocker” detailing on these heels is really what sets them apart. They have a “bondage” look to them that’s hard to find in most heels.
The four straps wrap around the shoes like a kinky harness for your foot. Metal rivet detailing on the two fastening straps adds to the “harness” look, and it forgoes the usual, dainty ankle straps.
Along the front of the shoe, the vertical band features rounded metal spikes and dangling O-rings. These O-rings are held in place by a loop of loose fabric, and they can flip upside down (important if you plan on taking a lot of photos in these. Do a quick heels check to make sure they’re behaving).
The O-rings are only fastened on by the rivets and the thinnest layer of faux leather. You could potentially use them for bondage but only the lightest, lightest tugging. Do be aware that you may send your heels to an early grave by doing this. They’re clearly decorative and not designed for it, but they’re also wide enough to be connected to bondage gear, so you do you.
The Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform Heels go up to a size 10. I am wearing the size 10 heels in my photos. If you’re looking for a Lapdance Heels option with a wider size range (for wider feet, forced feminization, or anything else) you may like their Clear Platform Sandals instead.
(For any kinksters who may do pole dancing recreationally, these shoes are likely a no-go. They have too many metal pieces to be safe for most fitness studios. If you work in a strip club, however, your employer may have fewer concerns about the state of the pole if it brings in more money.)
How Do the Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform Heels Fit?
They’re honestly more comfortable than expected! I really should stop expecting so little from sexy, stripper-focused heels like this. If there’s ever been a heels design made for hours of standing, it’s going to be for people who have to dance, stand, and grind while wearing heels for 8 hours at a time.
That’s to say, the Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform heels are comfortable. They feel just like wearing my Pleaser Heels, and it’s a comfortable, pain-free experience. None of the straps pinch into my skin (like I’m always worried about). The elastic bands attached to each of the straps help them stretch and move with your body in a way that most platform sandals don’t.
I will say that you should be prepared for a decent heel on this one, though. With a 2″ platform and your heel 6″ from the ground, you’re looking at a deep slope of a 4″ heel. While this is on par with a lot of my pole dancing heels, it feels a little bit less stable, and I find myself having to mentally focus on walking safely in these heels. It’s a bit weird since my “usual” pole dance heels are 8″ tall!
I think this might be because of the narrower width underneath the area that rests under my instep arch. It’s surprisingly narrow, and when I’m wearing the shoes, I can easily see that a lot of my wide-size feet hang off the edges of the shoe. At its narrowest, the area of these Lapdance Heels that supports my instep arch is a little less than 2″ in width. That’s decently narrow – and especially narrow for someone who has wide feet to begin with!
I think that narrow arch support tends to make me feel a bit more unwieldy on my feet in these. IIf I was going to scene at a party, I’d definitely take them off – especially for anything with movement like pegging. That’s a shame because the shoe stays really securely attached to my foot with the straps, and my ankles feel relatively strong in these.
That all being said, I’ve now encouraged two friends to purchase a set of these heels, and they both love wearing them to play parties. They do not have wide feet, and they say it’s one of the most comfortable – and simultaneously sexy – pair of heels they own. I love looking at one of my friend’s pairs; she’s worn them enough to have little toe prints etched into the footbed of the toebox.
How Do They Fasten?
Both of the buckles shown on the Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform heels can be tightened or loosened through the 3 included settings. These two straps (with the buckles) also have a little bit of elastic but not nearly as much elastic as the strap directly underneath them.
This can be a bit of a problem – especially if you have particularly wide or particularly small ankles. Three fastening sizes is particularly constrictive. It helps keep the heel looking nice and tidy, but if your ankles don’t fall into the shoe’s small fit ideal, you just simply won’t be able to wear it.
That’s exactly what happened to me when I first received the Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform Heels. With extra-large calves and ankles, the shoes simply didn’t expand far enough for me to fasten either of the top two straps. My foot fit into the inside of the shoe, but I couldn’t fasten the shoe onto my foot once I got it there.
It was frustrating, to say the least.
Now that my body has changed, I’m able to get the shoe fastened onto my foot on the widest setting. The circumference of my ankle where I wear the shoe is 9.5″ (tape really snug) to 10″ (comfortably loose; looser than I’d wear the heel). If you have an ankle circumference higher than that, I’d probably pass on these heels.
My submissive has the opposite problem. With extra slender legs, the tightest setting is unable to fasten tightly enough onto his legs to make them safe to walk in. I don’t think that will be the case for most (he has extremely slender legs at 6 feet, 130 pounds), but it is something to keep in mind if you share a similar build.
In either direction, if you’re comfortable punching extra holes into the shoe’s bands, you could extend/tighten the shoe a bit further. It has the excess material for that. As the other holes are reinforced with metal rivets, though, I’m not sure how badly that will beat up the faux leather material. If the shoes were entirely unworkable for you (and destined for the garbage), that might be a way to try to make them work.

Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform Heels Review
Summary
The Lapdance Open Toe Studded Platform Heels are a fantastic pair of heels if your feet happen to fit the narrow fit the shoes were designed for. With narrow arch support and two ankle straps that only allow for a single inch of adjustability, the “perfect” foot for these heels is surprisingly tricky to find. You’ll want narrow feet with small (but not too small!) ankles.
If your feet happen to hit that magical sweet spot, though, you’re in for a pair of lovely platforms. The shoe feels supportive and sturdy in the best of ways, and the full-foot, wrap-around straps show off your feet while simultaneously offering serious security. The shoe just feels great on the feet with the secret, “hidden” elastic bands doing a bit of the comfort work.
The metal detailing on the front of the shoe makes them an eye-catcher, and they look like a match made in heaven for kink parties and events.
