Beaded Metal Flogger Review

Beaded Metal Flogger
Showing the flogger

The Beaded Metal Flogger is a BDSM toy created by Pipedream Products and sold by this sex toy store. The handle of the flogger is made from metal, and the tails on this flogger honestly feel like a faux suede – like a strong type of felt. The tails are held onto the metal handle of the flogger by four rivets at the top of the flogger. The flogger is about twenty-four inches in total length. The handle makes up about eight inches of it. There’s a neat thing about this flogger – there’s a D-ring on the handle, and on that d-ring, there is a chain attached that serves as a hanging strap for the flogger. This chain is attached by a clip, so you can remove the clip during play, and the hanging strap won’t get in your way at all.

There really isn’t any special packaging for this flogger. However, it does come with a little removable tag that shows the slogan and a scantily dressed woman holding the flogger.

The flogger handles relatively well. It’s a little bit off-balance because of the metal handle vrs the pretty-light tails, but it’s nothing that most people honestly won’t even notice. The handle is really easily to hold because of the texture that is all over the handle. It includes lots of little indentations as well as a large bulb on the end of the flogger handle to possibly keep it from slipping out of your hands I suppose. We haven’t tried it, but the metal is well-made and smooth, so you could honestly use this end as a dildo if you wanted to. The metal is hollow on the inside, so it’s not too height-weight, and it would retain temperature really well.

So how does it feel? Relatively pain-free. Unless you put all of your strength into wielding this flogger, there’s no way that you are going to cause pain to your partner. The tails are pretty soft and feel like velvet, so they will feel sensual across the skin. You could easily choose to just hold the tails in your hand and drag the tails across your partner’s skin as a sensual toy. When struck with the toy, though, it honestly feels really light and feathery bordering on massaging. There isn’t any pain involved unless you strike really roughly. If struck lightly, there won’t be any marks left either. However, if struck roughly, you could possibly redden the skin or create a cut. For the most part, though, this is really soft, very gentle, and perfect for beginners who have never held or used a flogger.

The flogger itself is relatively well-made. I wouldn’t call this extremely durable, but for the price, it will last for quick awhile. We haven’t had any problems with it falling apart. I’d be careful with keeping this flogger in a damp place because the metal handle may end up getting discolored, but for the most part, this really should last without much of a problem.

I have to say that we’ve never had much use for the attachable strap that comes with this. It honestly stays unconnected and sitting in a corner much more often than I end up connecting it. The only time we connect it is just to hang up onto the wall, and then if I want to use it, the hanging strap comes right off. Some people might use that as a wrist strap, but that’s usually not what something like this is for – this isn’t a gaming controller.

Something neat? From a distance, it does look like an expensive flogger. Nothing against the manufacturer’s, but once you get close up, you can tell that it isn’t, but from a distance, you can definitely look like you’re an experienced pro if you want to take this to a play party or a swinger event.

To clean this little guy, you just need a slightly-damp washcloth. I wouldn’t recommend using soap on this since I don’t think the tails would agree with it. Just wipe it down with the washcloth, and dry it. Make sure you allow it to dry before you put it away. For storage, I’d recommend you hang it up by its hanging strap to avoid giving the tails a memory, but laying it flat on the floor seems to work well also.

In general? This is a nice, neat flogger that you can get something out of if you are a beginner. I just don’t see advanced users pulling this one out too often compared to other floggers they most likely own. However, for beginners, this is really a inexpensive flogger that is soft, sensual, and will let you know if a future of playing with floggers is for you. This sex toy store sells whips and paddles, so pick up the Beaded Metal Flogger today.
