Cookie Dough Body Spray Review

The Cake Cookie Dough Body Spray is a body spray sold by Dallas Novelty that smells like cookie dough and is intended to make your partner smell more sexy. It comes a large, plastic bottle that contains 8 fl ounces. The manufacturer is Topco. This also comes in Angel Food, Devil’s Food, and Red Velvet as well as it comes in a personal lubricant option as well as a lip gloss option. The bottle has an easy-to-squeeze handle that makes it very easy to spray it onto yourself or your partner. My bottle doesn’t end up expiring until June of 2013, so it looks like it lasts about three years.

The bottle comes in a half-open box that doesn’t really work for storage at all – it’s just there to show you what the product is. The box lets me know that it comes in other flavors, is supposed to be non-sticky, and it leaves your skin feeling kissable and leaves you smelling good.

The Cookie Dough spray just confuses my brain. I’ve never really associated cookies with sex – like ever. And that’s exactly what this spray wants me to do. For me, cookies are “oooh! I want some!”, not “Take me now!” and it really confuses what exactly is going on in my head. I suppose it wouldn’t be so confusing for someone who has a cookie fetish, but for me, while it smelled downright amazing, it wasn’t amazing in a “I want to have sex now” – it was amazing in a “Now I’m hungry” type of way. It definitely wasn’t the worst scent that I’ve ever smelled on a male before, so I can’t complain too much about that.

However, it does smell exactly as promised. One spray of this on the boyfriend’s body, and all night, we kept wondering who was making cookies. It didn’t smell so much like cookie dough – it smelled more like what you expect when you smell cookies baking in the oven. It really smelled exactly like that. I think I might start spraying this around my apartment before guests come over so I can seem like a better “homemaker”.

When sprayed on the body, it’s amazingly *not* sticky. I remember when I had these gimmick sprays when I was younger, they’d always be sticky after they were applied to the body. Not this one – in the slightest. It sprays on amazingly light and does leave any sort of stickiness or awkward-ness to the skin. From what we can tell, it easily lasts for about six hours of scent as well – the scent was still on the boyfriend’s skin during bedtime each time that I spray the spray on him.

It tastes okay. I wouldn’t say it tastes as amazing as it smells, but it doesn’t taste absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t go around licking this off of him for long periods of them though – it was just an okay taste if I happened to kiss where the body spray had sprayed onto his body. I’d think the lip gloss and lubricants from this set would end up tasting a lot better than this body spray did, but I haven’t had the chance to try them either.

Using it really doesn’t use much of this. It’s about your average perfume – we’ve used it about four times and I don’t see any “movement” on the bottle itself – as in, I can’t actually see where we’ve drained anything from the bottle yet. I’d say you easily have about a hundred uses if not more in this bottle. Something worth mentioning is that it doesn’t take very much to get the scent on your skin – just a couple sprays of the Body Spray. You don’t need to use more than two squirts. If you happen to be traveling with the body spray, there is a way to twist the top to lock the spray and prevent it from spraying as well.

So would we use this for sex again? No, probably not. It was more of a distraction than a help – it’s just that cookie dough isn’t my idea of sexy. However, it is my idea of yummy, so if I wanted something to make the boyfriend smell nice or something to make the apartment smell nice, the Cookie Dough Body Spray would be it. It’s just that it doesn’t work well for sex since who wants to focus on having sex when all they can think about is how hungry they are. It’s a great product – just not for sex unfortunately. For someone else who finds the smell of cooking to be sexy, this might work better. This sex toy store sells sprays, erotic body lotions, and the Cookie Dough Body Spray.
