This is normally the point where I’d give you all of the basic specs of the dildo, but with Nothosaur, you get to really “choose” all of those specifications for yourself. I have the Nothosaur Alla in a Large in their Summon coloration. (Honestly, it’s gorgeous, and I couldn’t imagine a better choice). The Large is 23.6″ in length with a diameter of 1.2″ near the tip and 2.2″ at the base. I have the default suction cup base.

What is Anal Depth Training?

A dildo like the Nothosaur Alla is designed for anal depth training. Unless you run in circles where large fantasy dildos are king, you may not have actually heard of anal depth training.

Nothosaur Alla Review: That Detail!

I am absolutely astounded by the detail of this dildo. Astounded. Getting this dildo out of the mold must take quite a bit of gentle love and care because all of the nooks and crevices are impressive.

This isn’t just a flat dildo that includes some tentacle suckers on it to make a “tentacle dildo”. Nothosaur went all-out with the texturing and coloring to make it honestly the most gorgeous and textured tentacle dildo I own.

(That’s really saying something because we own a LOT of tentacle dildos!)

Each one of the tentacle suckers along the length of the dildo has dips between them, making it seem like each sucker really does protrude, on its own, from the dildo’s length. The texturing on the opposing sides and backside of the dildo support that with a dildo that almost looks like the tentacle monster has a bone in there.

Honestly, you could (and we did!) use this as a realistic tentacle photography prop in addition to using it as a dildo. It’s hard to really explain how detailed this tentacle dildo is compared to the competition.

The coloration really sends it to the next level too. The rings of the suckers are outlined in a bright, light green. That color slowly fades into a darker green as you get further away from the sucker’s mouth to make each sucker look like its own deep suction cup. Spaces between the suckers also have this ombre coloration for a level of depth and realism that other tentacle dildos just simply don’t have.

Whoever made this is a literal dildo artist. It’s gorgeous, and absolutely everyone I’ve shown it to is blown away by the design.

Nothosaur Alla Review: Using this Long Tentacle Dildo

I’m not going to beat around the bush: the Nothosaur Alla is, quite literally, almost 24″ in length. This is an ultra-long dildo. It’s everything you need to become your guide to anal depth training, but that length does come with one big caveat; it takes a bit to get used to using it.

Instead of your standard-length dildos (like Nothosaur’s Hogge or Molo) where you can simply hold the base and push into the body, the Alla requires feeding its long, wiggly tentacle length into the body with body hands. Especially during initial penetration, the dildo can feel somewhat unwieldy as the rest of the heavy toy tries to pull the tip away from your ultimate destination.

Once more and more of the dildo is inserted into the body, it becomes a lot easier to handle. This is partially because you can make a mistake without the dildo sliding out; if 1 inch slides out when you’re 12 inches deep, you can simply push it back in without having to struggle with initial penetration again.

That wiggly design that makes it a bit difficult to insert is what makes the Alla such a great anal depth training dildo though. The soft firmness allows it to squeeze around corners without pain. If we find a spot where the Alla is getting a bit “stuck”, we simply pull out a bit, swap up the angle we’re sliding inside, and push in again, and the Alla almost always finds where it needs to go, allowing it to go deeper.

It’s really a treat for anal depth training. Not only does it work great for its actual purpose, it looks hot AF while doing it. The visual of this gigantic, long tentacle sliding into the butt is impossible to “ignore” or forget about.

Even for my partner, who is on the receiving end of the Alla’s length, the dildo is long enough that he can literally see the base and bottom half of the dildo while I’m inserting it. We’d never have guessed, but it turns out the fact that he can clearly see the length while it’s still being inserted is a gigantic turn-on to itself.

Really, the Nothosaur Alla is a dream come true for anal depth training. It’s everything an anal depth training toy needs to be without sacrificing the detailed, gorgeous design that makes it look at sexy as the activity feels.

Strapping This Tentacle On

The Nothosaur Alla can fit into a strap-on harness that can fit a 2.2″ diameter at the base. It’s a tight fit, but it does fit into my Joque harness.

That means I can strap this fantasy dildo onto me, making for a really hot visual.

And I’ll admit; that’s probably one of my favorite uses for the dildo.

The Alla just makes such a statement. When worn between my legs, it’s one of the first things that anyone notices when they see me.

It has been one of my favorite dildos to wear out at hotel takeover and play parties lately. If I’m strapping on a dildo, it’s the Nothosaur Alla.

You can use the dildo like this too. I’m not going to say it’s particularly orgasmic to the femdom dildo wearer; there’s simply too much length to make for good clit grinding. I usually have to use both hands to gently and slowly “feed” this into the bottom’s bum, and I have yet to have a bottom be able to take the entire length. This means that thrusting is usually limited in scope, and I can’t grind into the base of the dildo.

It is, however, lots of fun. With the Alla dildo’s 24″ length, even if the person gets 12″ into their body, you’re still looking at a full foot left outside of their body. This makes for a pretty hot visual as you see this protruding, wiggly tentacle coming from your body and into theirs – with lots of remaining length left to still be taken inside of them!

If you’re going to strap on the Nothosaur Alla for sex, I’d recommend doing it from an angle where you’re at a higher elevation than your receiving partner. This lets gravity help with some of the penetration work. Trying to feed this dildo into someone upwards against gravity can be difficult as the rest of the dildo’s weight pulls downwards. Going with gravity helps a lot, but it’s still a two-handed procedure.

Nothosaur Alla Review: Cleaning the Dildo

With beautiful designs comes one big headache: cleaning the dildo. All of that gorgeous detailing can be more of a pain in the butt when you’re done using it and need to return it to its pristine condition.

The Alla has one big thing going for it: it’s waterproof. This means you can easily let it soak in water to ensure you have the time and contact needed to get all those (literal!) suckers clean.

I highly, highly recommend pouring a bowl of soapy water to clean the Alla in after you’re done. Submerge the dildo, using your hands (and potentially a gentle washcloth) to scrub all along the sucker’d surface of the dildo. With all of the crevices, you’re going to really want to swish the dildo inside of this soapy bath, using your hands to remove as much grime as possible.

Once in awhile, I’d even recommend a more detailed spot clean with an Extra Soft toothbrush to clean out any of the small, tight areas near the tip. Most of the deeper crevices are near the base of the dildo which won’t see as much use for most people, but the tip still has some crevices near the suckers that might get some gunk in them.

When you’re done cleaning it, allow the Alla to fully dry before you put it away. You can use a washcloth to expedite the process, but this is a dildo I’d still recommend for air drying. It can be hard to get a washcloth into every crevice of the dildo, and you don’t want to put this one away while it’s still wet. Air drying can be that final step in full dryness for your tentacle dildo.
