Let’s do a Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 review. If you hang around the discussion forums about sex toys outside of the sex industry, there’s one company gets brought up a lot: Tracy’s Dog. Between the company’s low price point, its availability on Amazon, and their beautiful designs, Tracy’s Dog vibrators tend to be a common purchase for people looking for pleasure on the platforms where they already shop – which is why I wanted to do a Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 review.
The Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator, then, is the “sequel” to the original Tracy’s Dog Pro. This air suction vibrator partners with an insertable, vibrating shaft designed to provide simultaneous g-spot and clitoral sensations. Essentially, it’s the next-generation of rabbit vibrators for a lot of people.
It has the nicer, high-end features that most users want include waterproof capabilities, a USB rechargable power source, and of course, body-safe silicone. (Plus, it’s available in multiple colors.)
The Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 features 10 vibration options and 10 different suction modes for a lot of functionality in the exact level of pleasure you want that day.
As the final bonus point, this new iteration of their best-selling vibe comes with a wireless remote control to allow you to simply adjust the sensations without needing to press the buttons on the toy.
So, let’s get into my Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 Review. This Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 review features the OG Pro 2 in Tiffany Blue.
Tracy’s Dog OG Pro2 Review: The SIZE!
I’m not really sure why I expected this to look similar in size to a We-Vibe couple’s vibe (or any other U-shaped vibe like the Satisfyer Double Joy), but I definitely did.
What I did not expect was the hulking size of the OG Pro2 when I pulled it out of the box. This is not a “small” toy. This is not a toy that can be used alongside a penis during intercourse, and it’s not a toy that’s going to slip in (for a lot of users) at the beginning of masturbation before any arousal has really started.
The insertable shaft has a diameter of 1.5″.
And the shaft is 5″ long.
It is not a squishy size at all, either. It’s hard, rigid silicone. So, while the measurements sound a bit like “average penis size” to begin with, it becomes a lot more substantial when you realize that those measurements have zero give or squish to them. 1.5″ diameter feels noticeably bigger when it’s a rigid toy compared to a human penis.
That, doesn’t, obviously, make it a bad toy, but it’s definitely something to be aware of. For a lot of people who may turn to a sex toy in the earlier stages of arousal, this isn’t like a Lora DiCarlo Ose 2 or a We-Vibe Nova 2 with a slender-ish shaft for easier insertion. This is something you’ll want some lube (and likely, some arousal) to insert.
I think the default product pictures – which show the “hulking” handheld remote next to the shaft of the toy, really aren’t to scale – and partnered with my previous experience with these types of toys, I think I had unrealistic expectations out the door with this one. But hey – that’s why I always say to look at the toy measurements. (Which, unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn’t provide, so maybe I’ll give you – and me – a pass on this one.)
Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 Review: Controlling Your Pleasure
This Tracy’s Dog vibrator partners vibrations with air suction sensations to provide dual stimulation – and hopefully, some fantastic orgasms. The two-button design on the uninsertable part of the toy allows you to control each functionality separately. You can use JUST the air suction – or JUST the vibrations. Each button controls each functionality (and its intensity level) separately, so you’re not forced to sit through both functions when you only want to use one-half of the toy.
The remote control parrots these buttons, and the two-button remote control features the same two buttons. It even uses the same placement and symbols for the buttons, so transitioning between using the buttons on the toy and the buttons on the remote is pretty simple.
The entirety of the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator is extremely, extremely rigid. The air suction end has no squish to it, and the insertable shaft has no squish to it.
The only bendable part can be found near the connecting joint that connects the two halves. At the base of the insertable shaft where the texturing stops, the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 is a bit more flexible. This allows the toy to become a tighter angle – or a looser angle – depending on what you need. (Keep in mind, however, it will always attempt to return its set point. The Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 is not bend-and-stay. It just has a flexible connective area.)
I’m able to bend it to about 140 degrees (which I attempted, many times, while trying to use the air suction end solo without inserting the shaft), but I can’t imagine that’s good for the internal electronics to do regularly. However, the ability to bend the toy there allows you to put more pressure on the external, clitoral end, and it may force the internal, g-spot end to snuggle up tighter against the g-spot.
The bend functionality has zero “memory” to it, and it will snap back to its original angle as soon as the pressure stops being exerted.
Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 Review: The Noise
The Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 sex toy isn’t loud – but it isn’t soft either. Especially on the loudest settings, this is not a sex toy you’d want to use, at any point, with someone else in the room.
However, if you have it inserted, the noise level decreases drastically. At that point, as long as you’re in a separate room with the door closed and a bit of background noise on (like a TV or your favorite music), it’s difficult to hear the noise through the door.
I’d say it has too much noise to use it within a shower or bathroom, though, with other people outside the room. Bathrooms tend to really amplify noise.
Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 Review: The Pleasure
On the few occasions where I’ve been warmed up enough to be able to insert both ends together, waaaaatch out. It’s fantastic. The g-spot shaft vibrations actually feel surprisingly powerful – and while it doesn’t target my g-spot as well as some of my other toys, the internal vibrations are A+. They, surprisingly, don’t feel numbing, and they add a whole hell of a lot to the dual stimulation. I tend to prefer the patterns to avoid steady vibrations acclimating me to the sensation, and you can happily hit the patterns just by scrolling through a few functions.
With everything in place, the air suction is pretty great too! I’ve been spoiled by high-end air suction toys, so I wasn’t expecting the same intensity, but it actually worked pretty okay for clitoral sensations. I was able to orgasm with a little bit of work – though it didn’t feel quite like it had enough room to encompass all of the clitoris like some of my spacier air suction toys.
If I was able to bend it well enough to use just the clitoral suction tip for pleasure, though, I think I’d be able to regularly orgasm just off the clitoral end. It probably has about 40% of intensity compared to my Womanizer Premium 1 – and if you read my review, I don’t usually use any of the higher settings on the Womanizer Premium.
That being said, the toy’s angle isn’t quite perfect for MY body. Obviously, everyone’s body is different, so I don’t expect most sex toys to be able to hit every body the same. But my clitoris ends up being further away from my vaginal entrance. To get the air suction to line up, I have to pull out the g-spot end a bit – which gets it further away from my g-spot. It’s still fantastic when the two line up, but it’s a surprisingly precarious balance that clearly wasn’t made for my own anatomy. It tends to only last a few seconds before something falls to the wayside.
The thickness of the shaft honestly reminds me of some of my earliest days looking for a rabbit vibrator – where all of the insertable ends just felt gigantic and required more of a warm-up than I was usually willing to give it to use it. When I pull out a sex toy, I want to hop straight in – or maybe do a 5-minute warm-up at best. I don’t want to be at the height of arousal before I can consider even using the toy.
That’s about where the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 sits with me. This is, of course, entirely personal preference. I’m not someone who enjoys big and thick toys – and this toy feels gigantic to me. If you do enjoy toys on the thicker end, you probably won’t even think twice about it.
This leads into one of my bigger issues with the toy. You’re entirely unable to use the air suction side without penetration. I’m someone who loves versatility in her sex toys, and because of the triangular design of the toy, there’s really no way to get the air suction angle to match up without inserting the insertable half.
When you partner that with the thicker shaft, you can see that it might be a problem if this is your sole sex toy. There’s no way to use the air suction side on its own as a “warm-up” to get the body ready and wanting to accept the giant insertable shaft. This means you’ll have to be interested/willing to enjoy the g-spot vibrations as an external pleasurer in order to help your body relax to the point where you can slide the toy inside.
For me, that was usually around the 45 to 50 minute mark of any masturbation session. Suffice it to say, that’s not a timeframe I get the luxury to enjoy very often, so having a sex toy that isn’t comfortable for insertion until an hour-ish later just isn’t ideal for me.
This may not matter much to you if you don’t tend to pull out a sex toy until you’re fully aroused or if the smaller price tag of the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 helps you purchase a second sex toy along with it. However, since many people look for a multi-tasking sex toy in the bedroom, it’s worth mentioning.
Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 Review: The Remote Control
I was, quite honestly, expecting the remote control functionality to be a wipe. Especially at this price point, with a toy already packed full of so many different features, adding a good, functional remote control seemed like a bit of a reach.
But hey – I’m glad to be wrong.
The remote control functionality on the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 is surprisingly effective. I am genuinely surprised.
Now, don’t go thinking you can control the vibrator from across the room. The functionality is pretty spotty there.
But, if you can touch your partner with your hand, the remote control functionality seems to work fantastically. Its reliable range doesn’t seem to be very far (definitely not the 6-10 meters the manufacturer claims), but as long as you’re using it on the same bed – or if you’re using it solo – it works surprisingly well. In our tests, as long as we were within the same bed, it never missed a command.
The initial connection was stupidly easy too. Didn’t even touch the manual. Just press and hold either of the functions on the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator itself. Once the function is blinking (like it does even if you’re going to use the toy without the remote), this means the remote will be able to instantly pick up the signal and begin to control the suction and vibrations on the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator.
The buttons on the remote work exactly the same as they do on the sex toy itself. Press and hold to turn it on/off – and single presses to scroll through the functions. Turning it off then back on is the easiest way to reach one of the earliest/softest patterns if you end up going too far.
My only complaint about the remote? Getting the battery out of the remote is a giant pain in the ass. The Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 comes with its initial CR2032, but in the future, when you need to swap them out, it’s really, really difficult to get them out. Tape didn’t work. Shaking it didn’t work. I had to find a paperclip, unbend it, and slide it into the crevices around the battery. Clearly, that would suck mid-use, so ensure you have a working remote (to the best of your ability) before you start.
(I have no idea how the remote control on/off works. The remote does not feature an on/off – and it started working as soon as I put the battery in. I would guess it keeps working until the battery is removed, so remove the battery from the remote after use to ensure you have a working remote next time you go to use it. The instruction manual offers no information about this.)
How to Charge Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2
The Tracy’s Dog OG Pro2 features one of those “waterproof” ports that can feel a bit like puncturing the toy in order to charge it.
That is, the charging port for the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 is at the tip of the vibrator on the side that has the buttons. You’ll see a disturbance in the silicone where there are two circles – and the words “DC” etched into the silicone. This is the charging port.
Now, just insert the plug into this hole. It requires “piercing” the silicone, so it honestly feels like it takes a lot more pressure than you’d think was normal. It’s not like plugging in a cell phone. Expect it to take some pressure.
Once the plug won’t go in any further, though, the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 is plugged in, and you can plug in the USB end of the cord to any USB device for charging. I, personally, charge mine with a wall adapter for the fastest charging, but you could charge it on your computers or any other USB outlets. It’s up to you!
While charging, the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2’s backlighting will show a blinking light. Once everything is finished charging, the light holds steady. This can easily let you know when it’s time to remove the toy from the charger. (As with most sex toys, overcharging is best prevented when possible.)
Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 Review: Final Thoughts
Essentially, I don’t think the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 sucking vibrator is for me – but a lot of it is personal preference. Between the large, rigid shaft, the mismatch between my clitoris and my g-spot location, and the inability to “warm-up” with the toy in order to use the toy in the first place, this just isn’t going to be a good fit for me.
When I do get it inserted, it feels fantastic, but with how much work and effort that takes, this just isn’t a toy that will regularly be a chosen option for me. Toys with slimmer shafts and more adjustable angles (for my picky g-spot) tend to be better fits.
That being said, I don’t think the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 sucking vibrator is a bad toy. In fact, I think it’s the opposite.
Especially at this price point – which is 3 to 4 times less than the other air suction rabbit vibrators on the market – the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 sucking vibrator offers some serious pleasure.
I think you’ll want to intend to use it solely as a rabbit vibrator because of the difficulty in using either end on its own, but for the features it’s equipped with, it’s definitely a win at this price point.
Especially when you consider the remote control functionality. I wasn’t expecting a win there, but I’m happy to be wrong. While this won’t work as a public play vibrator (the toy really needs to be held against the body in order to stay in), this does allow some partnered play possibilities – or just ensures that you can effortlessly swap the sensations in the toy without worrying about pressing the buttons.
While not for me, I have no qualms about recommending the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2. It’s a surprisingly fantastic vibrator if you’re up for the shaft.
Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 Review
Summary
While the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator isn’t necessarily the best vibrator for me (due to an above-average, thicker insertable shaft), I have no problem recommending the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator to anyone else.
The air suction sensations feel pleasurable, and the vibrations in the insertable shaft are surprisingly strong (and have been great for many clitoral orgasms!)
The toy is simple to use, and surprisingly, the remote control design also works reliably for close-encounter use too. No matter how you want to control the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator, both methods use the same buttons and control structure for a nice feeling of familiarity.
My biggest recommendation would be to think of the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator as a rabbit vibrator; if you want to use it, expect to use both ends simultaneously. While the Tracy’s Dog OG Pro 2 vibrator has some flexibility in the center, connecting joints, it can be difficult to enjoy either side solo – but when used together, they work seamlessly (impressively so!)
Thanks for reading my Tracys Dog OG Pro 2 review!
