Think of the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit as a vibrator designed for the unique shape of the penis. Instead of being a clitoral vibrator that can multitask on the penis, the BJ Rabbit is specially designed to wrap around the penis and vibrate it.

The BJ Rabbit does this through a neat silicone design. The motor for the silicone vibrator is located near the tip where that wavy texturing is. Extending outward from that vibrating center are two foldable silicone “wings”. These wings are extremely flexible, and they can be bent inwards and outwards with zero resistance. These two “wings” wiggle back and forth with the blowjob vibrator’s vibrations which stimulates all around the penis.

The majority of the pleasure for the penis owner comes from direct contact to the vibrating center of the BJ Rabbit, but the wings wrap the pleasure all around the penis for sensation that can encompass more of the shaft than a standard clitoral vibrator can.

The BJ Rabbit includes 6 vibration modes (5 patterns, 1 steady) in addition to 6 vibration intensities (each mode allows you to adjust the intensity). The length of the BJ Rabbit is covered in silicone while the handle is made from super-smooth plastic. (It gets slippery with lubed hands.)

The BJ Rabbit features a circular, four-button control system for buttons. There’s a power button, a button that cycles through the patterns, and then a + and – button for increasing and decreasing intensity on any given pattern. It’s a very easy system to use, and you’ll figure it out quickly.

How to Use the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit?

The Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit is, essentially, a vibrator that is designed to pleasure the penis that simultaneously uses minimal shaft real-estate on the penis. It pleasures a little more than 2″ of the shaft of the penis – which leaves the rest of the business open for business.

If you’re looking for solo masturbation play, the BJ Rabbit can work; I don’t think this is where it really shines. With its small-width design that only takes up a little bit of the shaft, it really excels when you use it with other sensations at the same time.

One of those “other sensations” could be hands. We’ve found quite a bit of fun with mixing the BJ Rabbit at the base of the shaft while stroking the rest of the shaft up and down. I’ve also enjoyed using the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit at the tip of the penis – near the frenulum – while simultaneously squeezing and massaging the balls.

Really, with whatever areas you want to please, you can use the BJ Rabbit vibrator alongside your hand.

As the name implies, though, the BJ Rabbit can also become a fantastic helper during blowjobs. The sensations the BJ Rabbit can provide can help get the blowjob receiver to the point of orgasm faster. The sex toy can also be easily swapped out for your mouth, too, when you want to give your mouth a little bit of a break.

Don’t forget that “both” is also an option. You can keep the vibrator on the base of the shaft while you’re using your mouth – then easily slide the vibrator up towards the tip whenever you’re ready to give your mouth a quick break. (Some flavored lubes might help everything slide better.)

I’ve seen some people recommend using penis vibrators like the BJ Rabbit as a type of couple’s vibrator during intercourse to pleasure the receiving partner’s body. It’s definitely one way to use the BJ Rabbit – but I don’t think it’ll be for everyone. The BJ Rabbit is strong enough that it transfers a bit of vibration throughout the shaft, but it isn’t very powerful vibrations, and definitely not strong enough to pleasure someone clitorally.

Again, though, if the goal is to help the penis owner orgasm more quickly during intercourse, it adds quite a bit of sensation to the penis owner themselves. Someone just needs to be around to hold the BJ Rabbit in place.

One of the coolest things (I think) about the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit is that it can be used flaccid or erect. While a super-flaccid, very floppy penis isn’t going to hold itself firm to the vibration spot, pressing the flaccid penis into that vibrating spot can quickly solve that problem. An erection tends to “fill up” the circular hollow spot on the BJ Rabbit better (which presses the penis more firmly into the vibrating portion) for better sensations, but both versions will totally work.

The same can be said about penis width and penis length. Since the BJ Rabbit has a broad tip – and flexible wings – a gigantic variety of penis sizes will fit very comfortably into the BJ Rabbit.

How Does the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit Feel?

The Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit is very-much orgasmic – all on its own – but it doesn’t have to be.

While doing some experimenting with the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit review, we tried placing this vibrator on different spots along the shaft. (We pretty much wanted to see how many different ways we could really involve this BJ vibrator and make it pleasurable.)

How orgasmic (and how quickly it becomes orgasmic) is all in the placement. When looping the BJ Rabbit right around the tip of the penis so the vibrations pleasure the frenulum, the BJ Rabbit vibrator easily takes my partner from flaccid to erect – and then to the point of orgasm – within a couple of minutes. It really doesn’t take long – and that’s only on the weakest setting. On the strongest setting, it’s generally less than 30 seconds.

With this penis vibrator placed on other spots along the shaft, though, it isn’t as orgasmic. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Presumably, if you’re placing the BJ Rabbit vibrator on the base of the shaft, you’re probably doing something else with the tip or the rest of the shaft – and you might not want that penis to ejaculate quickly.

I will note that the BJ Rabbit does have some residual vibrations that you can feel in the handle. While holding the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit for more than ten minutes, even by the handle, my hand feels a bit fuzzy after it’s turned off. If you’re very sensitive to vibrations and that sensation in your fingers, beware.

How are the Vibrations on the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit?

Weirdest thing: the BJ Rabbit doesn’t start off on steady vibration patterns. I don’t think I’ve ever had a vibrator that started off on patterned modes – and was almost exclusively made up of pattern modes. From what I can tell, the BJ Rabbit has five patterned modes – and 1 steady vibration mode. The steady vibration mode appears to be mode #4 – and when you turn off the vibrator (and turn it back on), the BJ Rabbit will be back on vibration mode #1 again – which is a pattern.

This means that the BJ Rabbit will almost always be used on a pattern. If you prefer steady vibrations, this might make the BJ Rabbit a frustration for you. Since you’ll always need to turn the vibe on – then press through 3 buttons – just to get to steady settings, this can be aggravating.

On the bright side, since the BJ Rabbit offers incremental intensity control, that steady vibration setting can be used on the lowest power intensity – or cranked all the way up to the highest power intensity. That gives you six levels of steady vibrations to enjoy once you make it over to the steady vibration settings.

On the opposing side, this means that you’re less likely to over-stimulate yourself with the BJ Rabbit. Since it just has the one steady setting, and it’s essentially “in the weeds” of the pattern modes, you’re almost always going to be using a patterned setting – which gives your penis some downtime in sensation to reduce overstimulation.

Each one of the patterns can be increased and decreased in intensity as well. If you love a pattern, but find that it’s too much, you can easily turn down the intensity of that mode. Each one of the patterns “starts” at the lowest intensity, so you can just crank it up from there.

Power-wise, the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit has a whole lot of power packed into it. Like, a lot. The vibrations feel like they’re centered about 0.25″ in depth from the textured, wavy center of the “circle” between the two rounded “wings” of the BJ Rabbit.

And “intense” it is. On the highest settings, the BJ Rabbit is strong. It’s a vibration type that seems to sit half-way between buzzy and rumbly. A lot of the sensation feels surface – and leaves your fingers feeling a bit weird after you touch it for a bit – but at the same time, you can feel the vibrations all the way through the penis and into the perineum when used at the highest settings and gripped around the tip of the penis.

It’s a powerful vibration that definitely can be felt for a long way away from the “origination” of the source.

Noise-wise, the BJ Rabbit isn’t super quiet. You can easily hear it in the same room, and it can be heard outside of the same room – even with the door closed – on the highest settings. It isn’t an aggravating, distracting noise, but it is a noise that’s, well, audible.

You can tell the exact function the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit is on – and you’ll be able to tell it from across the room. It isn’t a high-pitched buzz, so it nicely fades into the background the longer you use it, but this vibrator isn’t for those who demand discretion.

(The BJ Rabbit claims to be “whisper quiet”, and I’m annoyed at how different the reality is from the marketing material. I could give you a lot of leeway with “gentle buzzing” or “moderate hum”, but absolutely nothing about the BJ Rabbit is on-par with a whisper. It doesn’t make it a bad toy by any means, but it just isn’t helping someone select the right toy for them if discretion and noise are a priority.)

BJ Rabbit Review: Do I Need Lube?

Honestly, it really, really depends. The silicone material of the BJ Rabbit is noticeably grippy. If you aren’t careful when wrapping it around the skin of a penis, it definitely tugs – and not in a good way. However, you can get away without using lube as long as you plan to wrap it around the penis – very carefully – and leave it in one place. With that in mind, you can get away without lube.

If you plan to move the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit during use – even a little bit – you need lube though. Otherwise, it really tugs on the skin in a very, very uncomfortable manner. Just a drop of lube helps the circular design of this vibrator glide against the skin of the penis; you don’t need much.

How Do I Take Care of the Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit?

The Rabbit Company BJ Rabbit claims to be waterproof. As long as you keep water away from the base of the vibrator – or ensure that the charging port cover is very, very secure – I think the BJ Rabbit can be waterproof. We haven’t had any issues with it in the testing for this BJ Rabbit review – though we haven’t submerged it for more than 20 minutes at a time.

We take specific care to keep its everyday cleaning far away from the base of the vibrator; I don’t trust waterproof “covers” as much as I do the magnetic charging design that many waterproof toys use now. That being said, the cover does seem to work – even if I’m worried and baby it a bit.

For everyday cleaning, you need to use warm water and mild soap to clean up the BJ Rabbit. You might need to get a cotton swab to clean up any excess lube or material that’s in the thickest divet in-between the sides of the BJ Rabbit, but for the most part, it cleans up easily.

I, personally, like to keep my BJ Rabbit in its original packaging. The boxes are extremely sturdy, house the toys and all applicable cords well, and they’re slim and tall – which makes them fit perfectly into my sex toy storage areas.
