Masque Oral Sex Flavors Review (Chocolate)

An interesting take on oral sex tastes, Masque came up with a unique idea: Masque Oral Sex Flavors. Available in multiple flavors including chocolate, the Masque Oral Sex Flavors are designed to help mask the taste of semen. This particular pack is a pack of 3 single-use packs that are specifically made to slip into a wallet or purse (yes, they definitely would work for that!). For those who are curious, Masque Oral Sex Flavors have zero calories and are made in the USA as well.

The packaging is pretty neat. It comes with a tri-folded box with little “sleeves” in each one of those sleeves, a single-use Masque packet has been placed. These packets are EXTREMELY thin (even thinner than a pantiliner package), so they easily will fit wherever you want to store them without any issue. (Though the packaging does say to store below 78 degrees F, so don’t store in a car on a hot day or something). For much slimmer storage, you can easily remove the three single-size packets from the full packaging and just store those three packets somewhere.

The Masque Oral Sex Flavors have simple instructions: Just allow the strip to fully dissolve on your tongue prior to or during a blowjob. Once this happens, the taste-masking ingredients will work with your taste buds to work for up to fifteen minutes, and as those fifteen minutes come to a close, the sensation will end with a cool, minty flavor.

To be honest, I don’t quite understand the science behind it. However, Masque is quite adament that it’s different than a piece of gum or a mint. This is because it’s not designed to “combine” the flavor of your candy with the bodily fluids. Instead, it’s designed to eliminate the unwanted flavors and provide a refreshing taste in its place. It’s especially designed to block out the flavors associated with semen (saltiness, bitterness, and proteins).

The taste is interesting. It has this “undertone” of mint that really has a cooling/burning sensation. It’s not particularly painful, but it reminds me of a weaker sensation of some of those “plumping lipstick” type of sensations. Like most products that give that “cooling” sensation, I think I noticed that my breath felt “cooler” than usual as well. Blowing air seemed to provoke a more intense reaction than usual, so I think my hypothesis about having cooler breath may actually be accurate. Aside from that, though, I must admit that I HATE menthol/mint, so the fact that the chocolate was mixed with this menthol sensation was not a pleasant addition. For people who like a chocolate/mint type of taste, though, it will be okay.

And it does sorta taste like chocolate. It’s not this delicious, decadent chocolate, but you can definitely tell that the taste was designed to taste like chocolate. It’s not quite as icky as “bad protein bar” chocolate, either. It’s somewhere in the middle where you can tell that it was intended to be chocolate, but it wouldn’t be the taste you’d reach for if you were craving chocolate.

So does it cover the taste? Uh, actually, surprisingly, yes. I wasn’t expecting that. It doesn’t cover ALL of the taste, but I’d say that there’s a huge reduction. At least 70% in the usual strength of the taste of precum and ejaculate. And that is HUGE. It doesn’t really “replace” the taste with chocolate, but it’s honestly just kinda like the taste disappears. Which is pretty amazing. There’s still a slight remnant of the taste, but if you’re really adverse to the taste of semen, you’re going to find that it’s a HUGE difference, and you’ll barely be able to taste it anymore. Which. Woah. Was not expecting that.

The Masque Oral Sex Flavors ingredients are: Natural Taste-Masking Agents, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Starches, Cocoa Powder, Gelatin, Gum Arabic, Sucralose, Pullulan, Glycerin, and Polysorbate 80. To be honest, I think the ingredients need more flushing out, but since it’s not technically a food product, I don’t think they technically had to disclose the ingredients at all, so I suppose it’s nice that they did disclose the ones that they did use.

Overall, the Masque Oral Sex Flavors actually WORK. They may not eliminate the taste 100%, but they do eliminate a good majority of the taste of semen for a blowjob. They come in these easy grab-and-go (and hide!) packets that will fit comfortably in a wallet or purse, they taste pretty good (though have a minty taste as well), and they do what they claim to do. A bit pricey, but if you want to mask the taste of semen, I honestly can say that it does the job well. Thanks to TabuToys sex toys for providing this eliminate taste of semen product for my Masque Oral Sex Flavors review.
