Specifically designed to hold your largest, full-size wand massagers, the LoveHoney Magic Wand Deluxe Soft Storage Case is a storage bag specifically designed for the large, odd proportions of most wand massagers. Sold and made by LoveHoney, this toy case is made from a faux leather material on the outside with an easily-wipeable synthetic material on the inside. The toy bag comes equipped with two zippers that slide along the top of the bag to allow you to lock the zippers together with a mini lock (not included) for discretion. As a soft bag, the bag is extremely flexible and doesn’t do well at holding itself up without things inside of it. When viewed from the side, the bag looks like a “triangle” – with a wide base and the thin point where the zippers are located.
Turns out, this storage bag comes in a “storage bag” of its own. Your Magic Wand storage bag will come in a plastic bag that can easily be ripped off. It’s really just designed to keep any dirt or stain from getting on the bag in the warehouse and during transit. Once open, that’s it. You’ll have your bag. There is no special packaging or instructions to the LoveHoney Magic Wand Deluxe Soft Storage Case.
The LoveHoney Magic Wand Deluxe Soft Storage Case is designed to be pretty simple – but effective. The outside of the case is made from a nice, soft, faux leather that glides nicely against the skin. The case zips shut with two separate zippers on the top of the case – making it easy to lock the zippers together for a “locking” case. (No padlock is included, but any mini-sized lock will lock it just fine. Just don’t lose the key!) The outside of the case also includes a small LoveHoney embedded logo. It’s small and classically understated. In addition, there’s a small “open box” along the base of the case on both sides of the case. You can’t clearly see what’s inside the case from these holes, but you can easily slide a charging cable through the hole to charge the vibrator while it’s in the case. (CAUTION: Some wand vibrators heat up noticeably while charging. Do NOT leave the vibrator in the case to charge without supervision. You could possibly overheat the thing and cause a fire. You can, however, leave the vibe in the case while charging it discreetly while the two of you go about your evening bedtime rituals before bed.) The case, in general, just looks good.
Now, let’s talk about the interior. Some effort was put into the exterior of your case, and the same can be said about the interior. The inside of the case has thin semi-flexible dividers. It effectively divides the interior of the case into three separate areas. One divider runs the entire length of the bag – making it the perfect place to store the vibrator itself. On the other side of where you’d store your vibrator, you have a small square-sized “box” inside the case that will allow you to store an attachment or help keep bottles of lubricant upright. Outside of that, you have the leftover space outside of this “box” that’s on the other side of the wand massager’s half of the bag. This can be used to store other toys (maybe a small dildo you like to use alongside your wand massager?) or handcuffs or other accessories you like to use with your wand massager.
When you initially receive the case, it’ll look a bit smaller than it is. The case has been smashed flat during storage, so you’ll want to let the case regain its shape. Sliding a giant wand massager into the case solves that easily. The base of this storage bag actually lays flat against the ground, so just let the case sit out and regain its shape as soon as you can. It’s also worth noting that, while the case doesn’t smell when sealed shut, something about the interior material definitely has a scent to it upon receipt. It’s not strong enough to kick you out of the room, but you can definitely smell it while sticking your face in the case to investigate the case. Letting the case sit open in my living room for two days, and it was entirely scent-free. The interior material is different than the exterior material; it’s more of a synthetic material that’s designed to wipe down easily.
So what all fits into this case? It’s, honestly, surprisingly roomy. Especially for the price, I didn’t expect so much to be able to fit into the case. First off, every wand vibrator I’ve tried has fit into it. It’s a snug fit, but it’s not a frustratingly-snug fit. We own the large-ass Hitachis as well as the off-brand versions. We own smaller wands too. The LELO SmartWand Large can be a bit iffy – just because of the curved handle – but it fit as well. So if you’re wanting to store a wand vibrator and have an odd size or a huge one, this works a-okay.
Outside of just the wand vibrator, it can fit a pretty large variety of stuff. When a wand massager is stored in the bag, it can still fit another vibrator/dildo (or two) alongside the wand massager. It easily fits the charging cables for the wand, an attachment for the wand, and lube for your toys – alongside the wand massager and extra toys. It can even fit a flexible (felt) set of bondage cuffs alongside other kink items. It’s surprisingly roomy, and if you start using the vertical space, it fits even more. It fits way more than what I’d expect from a “wand massager storage bag”. It goes beyond that and just starts being a good sex toy storage bag – not just a Hitachi storage bag.
It’s also worth noting that you need to remember how large this bag is. This isn’t a “small” bag. Remember how large your wand massager is? Well, it’s about the size of three of your wands when stacked in a pyramid – only with some excess material outside of the size of the “pyramid”. Don’t assume this will tuck neatly into a purse or something – unless you have a huge purse that’s over 14″ in length. Keep that 14″ of length in mind for whatever you have in mind. It’s not a length to laugh at – this bag may not even fit into some bedside tables.
As a final point, I wanted to touch on the durability of the bag. That is, the bag is decently well-made. While the bag is very flexible and not designed as a hard case, it’s still made with multiple layers of decently-thick material, and the stitching around the edges of the case are impeccable. The sex toy storage bag has a beautiful sheen to it, and the zippers glide nicely along the zipper track. I’ve had no concerns or qualms about this vibrator bag having a pretty long lifespan.
When it comes to cleaning this bag, you won’t have to try too hard. The entirety of this bag was made to be easily cleaned. The outside of the bag is faux leather, and it can easily be wiped down with a damp washcloth. The interior of the bag is made from a synthetic, waterproof material that also wipes down pretty easily. I wouldn’t recommend making a point to store dirty toys in here – or leaving the cap off your lubricant – but if it happens, you’ll be able to clean it up relatively easily. To avoid fading of the black material, I’d recommend keeping this bag out of regular streams of sunlight.
Overall, I’d honestly have a hard time recommending any other storage cases for your full-sized wand massagers. Unless you need a hard case to protect the toy from heavy objects or wanted a bag that could double as a purse/carrying bag, this Hitachi storage case is honestly one of the best toy-specific storage bags I’ve seen. It’s pretty to look at, holds much more than the basic toy itself, and is lockable for privacy. It feels well-made and decently durable, and it’s pretty to look at. The size makes it easy to take with you to whatever BDSM scenes you have in mind. With its affordable price, this is an all-around win.
