Looking to add new bondage possibilities to the bedroom? This Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar review may introduce you to the gorgeous kink tool you need to get it done!
Designed to (literally) spread the limbs apart, the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar forces two points to stay away from each other. It accomplishes this by securing those two points to either side of this rigid, sturdy bar. Once attached, the two points can not get any closer or further away from each other. It’s a simple, (but effective!) system, really!
This black and gold spreader bar is made from a nickel-free gold-plated metal. Throughout the middle of the spreader bar, that metal is wrapped in a thin layer of soft, organosilicon material. There is one straight seam along the entire length of this wrap that holds the organosilicon in place on the spreader bar.
Both ends of the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar feature swivel joints that allow the included, quick-release oval rings on each end to twist in a 360-degree plane.
I recommend paying attention to the measurements for the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicone Spreader Bar. It has a total length of 50cm / about 20 inches – which is noticeably shorter in length than many spreader bar options. I find this the perfect length for spreading the wrists apart or spreading the legs apart for walking, but I’d likely want a longer spreader bar if I wanted to keep the legs spread while stationary.
What the Heckin’ Heck is Organosilicon?
If you wanna be fancy about it, “Organosilicon compounds are organometallic compounds containing carbon–silicon bonds. Organosilicon compounds are widely encountered in commercial products. Most common are sealants, caulks (sealant), adhesives, and coatings made from silicones.”
For our kinky purposes, though, organosilicon is a really unique-feeling material that feels like a mix between neoprene, silicone, and leather. It’s vegan, and more water-resistant than your standard leather or faux leather.
Honestly, though, this is the funkiest feeling material, and I mean it in the best of ways. As a kinkster who has felt the entire gamut of “faux leather” options, this one is super cool. It really feels like a super thin neoprene that’s been melded with the smoothest, silkiest silicone sex toy you own.
You know how neoprene has that plushy, fabric-like texture to it?
Imagine if you took neoprene, completely smoothed it out (no texture), and completely thinned it out (no plushness). That’s, essentially, how the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar feels.
Honestly, every time I’ve taken this to an event, I’ve shoved it in friend’s faces to make them pet it. It feels so cool.
In practice, it essentially means that your spreader bar is going to be a bit easier to clean up, is going to be a bit easier to care for (will clean up better when spot cleaning), and will last longer (will tolerate moisture and hot conditions better).
And it’s vegan!
Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar Review: Does It Work?
A spreader bar just needs to do one thing: it needs to reliably spread limbs.
I’d also prefer if it looks good, is easy to use, and is comfortable while doing it.
Luckily for me, the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar happens to have ALL of those things.
It:
- Reliably spreads limbs: Made from a rigid material, it has zero bend to it. With limbs attached to each end, they’ll be nicely spread with no way to pull those limbs together in the middle. Like the name implies, this spreader bar spreads.
- Looks good: Just LOOK at it! That gold and black is so freakin’ sexy.
- Is easy to use: It comes attached with the two clips you need to fasten bondage restraints in seconds (more about that below). If you want to use locking clips, the oval fasteners pull off in seconds.
- Is comfortable while doing it: The built-in swivel joints on both ends of the spreader bar ensure the cuffs never uncomfortably twist on your wearer’s joints. The organosilicon-covered-shaft means that no cold metal will press up against your wearer’s skin for an unpleasant shock.
As an added bonus, it’s also one of the lightest spreader bars I own. I’d guess the core is hollow or plastic because this spreader bar lifts up with the weight of a feather!
For some BDSM scenes, I do want my bound partner to “suffer” under the heavy tyranny of loud, heavy metal. For service or long scenes, though, the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar does a great job spreading limbs without adding a lot of fatigue to my submissive‘s arms. This keeps their strength available for serving me. It means my submissive hasn’t asked to be prematurely removed from this spreader bar once during our Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar review testing period.
Even when we went for all-day play and he’d constantly swear when he’d go to reach for something and find his hands fastened to one another with a rod, it was never a matter of muscle fatigue.
This gives this beautiful spreader bar an instant place in our toolbox – just because we don’t own such a short, portable, lightweight spreader bar. In a kinkster’s house full of spreader bars and other bondage gear, that’s a surprising achievement!
How Does this Spreader Bar Fasten?
Both ends of the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar have a gold, color-matched oval loop that behaves like a non-locking carbiner.
These oval loops are fully removable (if you have fasteners of your own that you want to use).
If you don’t have your own fasteners, these oval loops allow you to slide in the D-ring or O-ring of any kink gear you own to instantly fasten it to the spreader bar.
As noted, these loops do not lock, so theoretically, the bound person could unfasten their restraints from the spreader bar if they so chose. If you wanted to avoid that, you could use a literal “lock” instead of the oval loop to fasten their restraint to the spreader bar.
These oval loops connect to a circular swivel O-ring at the end of each side of the spreader bar, so the cuffs will twist and wiggle around with the person; this drastically decreases any twisting or uncomfortable pressure from awkward positions. The swivel joint within the spreader bar will simply move with the person’s attached limb.
Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar Review: Do We Have Noise?
This black and gold spreader bar does make a little bit of noise when moved around. It’s the sound of the oval-shaped clips hitting up against the circle-shaped O-rings that they’re hooked into.
It isn’t a light, high-pitched jingle. Instead, it’s a bit of a deep rattling that sounds more like hard plastic doinking up against hard plastic.
Unlike most BDSM spreader bars, which are made from uncovered metal throughout their entire length, the Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar features the organosilicon wrap throughout the main shaft of the spreader bar. This softens any “clinking” sound that might have happened from items being dropped on it or hitting up against objects/areas while playing.
While not sound-free, this makes the Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar one of the quietest spreader bars we’ve ever played with. The rattling of the oval clips on the side are only a bit louder than the sound of me typing on this keyboard right now, and that’s impressive.
(And very calming for my noise-adverse brain!)
The Black Organosilicon Collection!
Like all Liebe Seele gear, this spreader bar is part of a wider collection: the Black Organosilicon Collection.
If you’re a photographer or simply love the erotic look of cohesive sets, there’s an entire line of matching gear you can add to the spreader bar. I’d probably start with the Black Organosilicon wrist cuffs or ankle cuffs, but you could easily add the blindfold and paddle to have a full “scene” already ready and waiting to go.
(If you’re in love with the idea of the organosilicon material but aren’t a black-and-gold fan, this same material is also available in a peachy pink-and-silver combination! Same designs, same styles, but in different colors!)

Prefer to see things being handled IRL?
I get it; it can make it easier to see (and hear!) how it jingles and behaves in free space – instead of just reading me telling you about it.
If that’s you, my Liebe Seele unboxing video is probably exactly what you want to see. I’m even nice, and I’ve started the video exactly where this black and gold spreader bar starts to be featured.
Final Thoughts: Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar
Liebe Seele Black Organosilicon Spreader Bar
Summary
I love this spreader bar. With its lightweight, low-noise design, its beautiful colors, its comfortable swivel joints, and slender length, it has become our go-to spreader bar for any long play sessions (especially service scenes!). It spreads the limbs without fatiguing my submissive while simultaneously looking hotter than hell. It’s a win-win all around.
Even better is the fact that it’s part of an entire black-and-gold Organisilicon Collection from Liebe Seele. Not only are these “standard” black and gold colors that will match any of my black and gold kink gear, but if I want a perfect color-matched collection, I can go straight to Liebe Seele to get most of the basics!
Plus, the organosilicon material feels super cool, and it makes for easier care, cleaning, and price than if this was genuine leather.
I’m in love.
(I think this may be my first perfectly 5 star review since Kinky World’s redesign. I really do not have a single thing I’d change about this spreader bar!)
