Do you ever wish you could craft your own perfect dildo with the ability to change it every time you want to play? Well, this Fun Factory Limba Flex Review might be for you.

The Fun Factory Limba Flex is a bendable, posable dildo made from silicone. With a large flared base and tapered tip, it’s crafted for vaginal or anal play. Fun Factory built it with an extra-thin base to make it a comfortable choice for strap-on harnesses as well.

It’s available in a Small and Medium – and now the brand new large.

  • Small: 4.3″ Insertable, 1.1″ Diameter
  • Medium: 6.69″ Insertable, 1.2 Diameter
  • Large: ~6.9″ Insertable, 1.6″ Diameter
My hand holds the Limba Flex Large dildo. It's longer than the length of my hand. It looks like it'd be a comfortable, but large, squeeze if I wrapped my fingers around the base of the dildo. For my Fun Factory Limba Flex review.

Meet the Brand New “Large”

The “Large” version is the latest release of the dildo. The Small and Medium have been around (to positive reviews!) for months now, but the Small/Medium are, well, smaller. Even the Medium runs surprisingly slim for a dildo at a diameter of 1.2″ (well under the “average” 1.5″).

Now, let me be fair: I love that. It’s relatively easy to find a wider, longer dildo at a sex toy store. It’s pretty hard to find a slim, short one. I love that Fun Factory’s Small and Medium variants filled that need.

Like, they really did. Some reviews over the Small and Medium include:

  • “This thing is so much fun! My younger self would have appreciated its versatility even more in her exploratory days of beginner sex toys. Not everyone wants to or can afford to shotgun their sex toy selection at first.” – SuperSmashCache
  • “There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of girthy dildos in sex toy land, many of them uncomfortable or even unusable for aging vaginas. (Your preferred dildo width will vary, of course.) I’m grateful to Fun Factory for creating these lovely creatures that work well for those of us who find a slim fit more comfortable. Combine this with the flex option, and these are winners. As with all Fun Factory toys, they are high quality and built to last.” – Joan Price

It’s just that some people fell in love with the Limba Flex and were disappointed to find that it didn’t come any larger than that Medium. It’s pretty hard to give up that quality and posability and go to a “regular” dildo if you’ve been using the Limba Flex for your play for such a long time.

The size difference is the biggest change with the Large. To make it easier to recognize, however, the new Large also includes an extra red layer of silicone at the base in addition to the Fun Factory logo badge at the base.

Otherwise, you’re looking at the same posability, the same tapered, rounded head, and the same feel of silicone that the rest of the line is known for!

Fun Factory Limba Flex Review: Let’s Talk Bendability

I’d say the top 2/3rds of the dildo shaft are built for bendability. You can’t make bends directly at the base or directly on the shaft above it, but the rest of it are fair game.

This is definitely a two-handed process. It takes a decent bit of muscle to bend the dildo – which exactly what I’d want if it has any hope of retaining the shape once it’s slid inside me. It can be bent while your hands have lube on them, but it requires a much stronger grip than if you’re bending it with dry hands.

This silicone dildo can make broad, gentle bends. You won’t be folding it into a square. The shaft has enough resistance to continue to look like a soft, curvy shaft – no matter where you end up bending it to. If it looks anything like any of the photos I’ve taken, you can probably bend it into that.

That’s to say: it has a lot of bendability. It isn’t 1000% customizable; you aren’t going to make a donut out of it. But if it’s a specific curve or angle you could find on an otherwise-upright dildo, you can make it out of the Limba Flex.

Want a unique S-curve? That can be done.

The Fun Factory Limba Flex in Large bent into as much of a S-shaped curve as it can manage. The "S" curves are relatively shallow, but it does look like an S-shaped dildo.

Want a really deep g-spot curve? That can be done.

Looking to slowly decrease a p-spot curve until you find the gentlest curve that will still hit your p-spot? That’s also possible.

The Fun Factory Limba Flex in Large bent into as much of a U-shaped curve as the shaft can manage. It looks like a "J".

Once there, it does a pretty good job of retaining that bend during play. The dildo’s base is a softer, flexibile silicone. Because of this, when you hold the dildo for play, the base tends to bend before you start getting to the bend within you. The dildo’s tendency to put a lot of the thrust forces onto the base does help the internal shaft retain some of its shape.

That being said, with firm enough thrusting and enough time, you’ll end up with a gentler version of any deep curve you place into the Limba Flex. The curve won’t be gone, but the dildo will have slightly straightened out. If you had a 45-degree curve, you’ll now have a 30-degree curve when you finally pull the dildo out.

I wouldn’t call this unbending completely egregious. It will hold its shape for a bit – especially during initial penetration – to give you time to enjoy the original shape you had in mind. Some “posable” dildos completely straighten out with penetration. The Limba Flex will eventually straighten, but it takes time and pressure.

Fun Factory Limba Flex Review: How’s It Feel?

I’ll admit: I don’t necessarily like the feel of Fun Factory’s silicone sometimes. They’ve been using this blend of grippy, draggy silicone for awhile now, but I occasionally forget about it until I come in contact with it again.

Their latest release, the Fun Factory VIM, was crafted with a thinner, smoother silicone (that I fell in love with!), so I wasn’t sure what to expect with the Limba Flex.

But they went back to that draggier, grippier silicone. It is a very tactile silicone that makes it impossible for your hands to “glide” over the surface of the dildo. Even while lubed, there’s still a bit of texture and friction to it that you don’t get with smooth silicones.

I, personally, don’t like this dragginess for toys I’m sliding into myself. I already struggle with slow, patient penetration, and this draggy silicone just exacerbates the problem as it grips onto my skin no matter how much lube I use.

However, my submissive doesn’t have any such qualms with the material, and he actually enjoys it. He says the grippy feel of the silicone helps the Limba Flex feel larger than it actually is when it’s inserted. He also loves how it seems to really provide the deep, constant friction that he wants for prostate play once the Limba Flex is snuggled into the right spot.

I tend to cover the Limba Flex with a condom when I use it. He loves using it without and has fallen in love with this tactile silicone.

So it’s very much a personal preference, and this is becoming a hotly-debated topic in our household – almost with the same fervor of whether pineapple belongs on pizza.

Regardless of silicone type, the Fun Factory Limba Flex also has a semi-tapered tip that helps it slide inside. It isn’t the thinnest tapered tip I’ve ever seen, but it’s better than a lot of the blunt, “realistic” dildo tips that go straight to the full diameter. This tapered tip does help for initial, patient penetration – which can be especially great if you’re using the Small or Medium because penetration with big toys isn’t always comfortable.

I especially love the Limba Flex’s bendability when it comes to swapping sex positions. We don’t do it often, but we really wanted to give it a try for this Fun Factory Limba Flex review.

Sometimes, the angles that made sense one position ago don’t make sense in your brand new position. Sometimes that’s aggravating because I have to reach under the strap on harness and do a little dance as I attempt to swivel the dildo so that it faces a brand new angle.

All of that is gone with the Fun Factory Limba Flex. We simply take ahold of the toy and bend, and the Limba Flex is instantly in the brand new angle we needed.

Not just great for functionality, it’s great for hitting internal spots too. If our new pegging position places his p-spot in a new spot, we don’t have to just accept that our dildo won’t hit it anymore. We simply rebend the dildo until it’s in a new shape to better hit that spot again.

Especially if you’re someone who doesn’t want to regularly swap out the dildos in your strap-on harness, this is a really fantastic bonus!

The Limba Flex Large is laying on its side, showcasing the bottom of the dildo. The bottom of the dildo looks flat and in a fire engine red color. There's a lot of fuss and lint on the bottom of the dildo. For my Fun Factory Limba Flex review.

It’s a Suction Cup Base Dildo?

The base of the Fun Factory Limba Flex looks entirely flat. I’m not exactly sure how Fun Factory managed it, but this seemingly-flat base is actually a suction cup base – and it works.

It does seem to be a bit more sensitive to surface material compared to other suction cup toys that I’ve played with. It really requires a flat, smooth surface. It seems like shiny, glossy materials best. On a glass shelf or my sealed marble countertops, it performs like a champion. I can move it up and down (and even some side to side!), and it doesn’t slide off.

It is less high-performance on other materials. It will stick to my wide-tile floors, but it needs gentle handling or it’ll pull off. It won’t stick to my doors or my walls at all.

(Really, though, anytime I want to play with suction cups, I tend to default to using the Liberator Bon Bon to hold the toy for me anyway. With that, the Limba Flex does fantastically, sliding into the BonBon’s dildo hole and holding itself there with ease.)

My hand holds the Limba Flex Large dildo. It's longer than the length of my hand. It looks like it'd be a comfortable, but large, squeeze if I wrapped my fingers around the base of the dildo. For my Fun Factory Limba Flex review.

Summary

The Fun Factory Limba Flex is my first recommendation if you’re looking for a dildo that can be bent to your heart’s content. Not only is it available in slimmer sizes (that are hard to find), but it also is made by an environmentally-conscious company, at a reasonable price point, and made from body-safe materials.

The shape of the dildo is nothing to be scoffed at either! The gentle, tapered tip partnered with the soft curves make it easier to slide inside than other blunt tip dildos. While the dildo’s built-in curves are already pleasurable, the ability to magically shape this dildo into the exact shape you need to hit your innermost spots takes this one up to the next level.

Not sure where your g-spot or p-spot is? That’s exactly what the Limba Flex was crafted for! Try a bend, slide it inside, and see if it’s right for your body. If it isn’t, take it out, try a new bend, and repeat. This bendability gives you the tools you need for self-exploration.

My only downside is in the silicone. It’s a grippy, tacky silicone that can really induce drag while sliding it inside. I’d recommend extra lube and taking it slow – but you might find that you love the extra fullness that the silicone provides.

Whether you’re in the market for a first slender dildo or simply want a high-quality bendable dildo, I’d recommend the Fun Factory Limba Flex.
