The Fun Factory Curve Dildo is a g-spot dildo that is made from body-safe silicone. It’s slightly over eight inches long, and it has a diameter of over an inch and a half. (It’s about 1 and 3/4 inches). The body features a curved design that includes a little “tail” where fingers can slip into in order to easily control the dildo.
The packaging for the FunFactory Curve resembles all other FunFactory packaging. It is a pale white and red box that includes magnetic flaps that you can open to view the toy in detail. The toy’s features are stated on the sides of the packaging, and the toy itself comes in a tray that pulls out from the box. The tray includes a sample of lubricant, the tray to store the toy, and the instructions as well as a promotional booklet for FunFactory toys. The packaging can be used for storage, but it is a bit large in comparison to the size of the dildo itself.
The FunFactory curve is a silicone dildo, and it’s really well-made. The most interesting thing I find abuot the Curve is how realistic it looks. Most of the FunFactory toys are usually non-detailed or whimsical, but the Curve actually does look relatively realistic. The curve has a realistic-looking head with textured curls running along the shaft away from the head. The dildo itself has a large g-spot curve with a very pronounced head. The base of the dildo, instead of having a flat base with a flared end, is a curve. The dildo curves in on itself towards the base which gives a really easy “handle” where you can slip in a couple of your fingers to help with getting deeper thrusts.
The dildo itself is extremely flexible. This is a slight problem during use because it means that you have to put more effort towards trying to give really deep pressure to the g-spot. The dildo can do it, but where a rigid dildo would just require a bit of wrist pressure, the Curve requires a lot more force in order to try and get the same g-spot pressure. This will work okay unless your wrist tends to get tired with continued g-spot stimulation. If it does, the Curve may not be the best dildo for you. However, if it doesn’t, the Curve doesn’t bend enough to make it unusable for g-spot stimulation, but it does mean that you have to put out a bit more effort is all.
The curve is made of a medical silicone that does produce quite a bit of drag along the surface. It’s not the soft, velvety silicone that some silicone sex toys tend to have. Because of this, you definitely want to lubricate this toy thoroughly. If you don’t, it really can produce an uncomfortable drag along the skin while you attempt to thrust with it. You can only use water-based lubricant as well as silicone-based lubricant could harm the surface of this silicone dildo. The head of the dildo should be thoroughly lubricated. The head is extremely pronounced, and as such, it could be painful on the backstroke if the head isn’t lubricated.
So how well does it work? It works okay. The curve is really perfect for me. It reminds me a bit of my Bent Graduate dildo, and that’s one of my favorite curved g-spot toys. Most g-spot toys usually have too soft of a curve for me to be able to reach my g-spot with them, but this one does have an extreme enough curve to be perfect for my g-spot. However, I tended to find that the material, no matter how much lubricant I put on it, was just a bit difficult to insert. The silicone just produced a lot of drag, and partnered with the larger size, the texture, the pronounced head, and the curve, it could be uncomfortable at times. Normally it required going back to get more warm-up before attempting again, but I still would love to be able to use my toys without requiring a lot of warm-up.
As long as you could keep a handle on the handle, you could probably use this dildo anally as well. However, be forewarned that you should probably do that with a partner as doing this solo could be difficult. While we haven’t tried it anally, we probably won’t due to the large diameter of the head of the dildo. However, if you regularly take the larger toys anally, you may not have any difficulty using this dildo anally, and since the curve hits the g-spot, it probably will hit the male p-spot as well.
Cleaning the FunFactory Curve is extremely easy. It can be easily boiled for sterilization and cleaning, but if you don’t want to go through that effort, you can also use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it. You should only use water-based lubricant with this dildo. An average-sized condom will probably fit it, but it may not do well with the curve of the dildo, so you may want to have an alternative if you plan to use it with a condom. For storage, I highly recommend keeping it away from anything that sheds material. It can tend to pick up a lot of lint as well as a lot of dust on the surface. It can be kept in the original packaging if you want, but the packaging is a bit bulky for the size of the toy itself.
Overall, the Curve Dildo works alright for g-spot stimulation, but I think this dildo would have been a clear winner if it had been made of a more rigid type of silicone. The flexible, matte-type silicone requires lots of extra lubricant, and it just doesn’t hold as firm as it could for optimal g-spot stimulation. However, it still does a pretty good job, and while it can’t give me the firm pressure I want on my g-spot, the curve of the dildo DOES hit my g-spot which is more than I can say for most dildos.
