The Bodywand Rechargeable Massager is a wand massager produced by XGen in their Bodywand line. The vibrator is rechargeable and cordless, and it comes in both a green and purple variety. The vibrator is made completely of plastic, and it is controlled by a control dial on the front side. The massager is about six inches long with a head diameter of about an inch and a half. As you can see in the pictures, I received the green copy of the massager for review.
The packaging for the Bodywand Rechargeable Massager is very basic, and it’s very cute. The packaging includes a white background with green lettering, and it shows pictures of the products and displays the features of the product all over the packaging. The packaging is definitely suitable for gift-giving or storage, and the packaging makes the massager look really cute. The packaging is VERY attractive for a sex toy. Included in the packaging is a small, cotton bag that will fit the charger and toy. The charger is also included in the packaging.
The Bodywand Rechargeable Massager is made with quality in mind. The entire body of the massager is made from plastic, but there are no obvious holes into the inner portion of the massager. The head of the massager is about 1/2 the size of the large, Original Bodywand Massager, but at about 1 1/2 inches in size, the head of the wand is still formidable. The backside of the wand includes some screw holes that might be an issue to clean depending on how lubricated your hands are during use. However, a Q-tip easily fits into the holes to clean them out.
Like stated before, this massager is rechargeable. It recharges through the charging port on the back of the massager. This port is normally covered with a small, rubber piece, but in order to recharge it, you’ll need to take out the rubber piece. The rubber piece does not attach to the massager, though, so make sure to keep track of it while the massager is charging. According to the packaging and the website, this massager will run for an hour off of a half-hour charge, so this vibrator will run for about four sessions of a typical half-hour charge. This works well for us. When it’s charging, the red light on the vibrator will turn on which will make it easy to see when to disconnect it.
The vibrations on the Bodywand Rechargeable Massager are definitely strong. The vibrations aren’t too rumbly, but they aren’t too buzzy either. They are right in the middle. They are about 1/2 of the vibrations of the Original Wand Massager, so they aren’t nearly as strong as a plug-in model, but the vibrations are still strong compared to most massagers. I’d say that it’s on the lower end or middle end of strong, and it should be enough to get most people off. Plus, the vibrations do not decrease when pressure is applied which is always a plus. The noise isn’t too bad; it could definitely be heard in the same room, but it might not be heard behind a closed door. Some of the higher settings might make it audible behind a closed door, but for the most part, it isn’t too loud. (At least, not compared to the Bodywand Original.)
It works well! This is definitely a great massager! It shares the design with the Fairy Wand Massagers series, but unlike those massagers, we honestly didn’t find that the vibrations sounded high-pitched or hurt my ears during use. It actually does pack quite a bit of rumbly vibrations in its little body, and the handle fits very comfortably in your hands – whether they are lubricated or not. I’m definitely impressed by the power. Even though the Original Bodywand Massager is stronger, this massager still definitely can hold its own, and it is definitely strong enough for orgasm with absolutely no problem. We love how much it will function on a charge, but it does need to be recharged fairly regularly – but for smaller periods of time.
The Bodywand Massager has worked well for us though. The head is flexible enough, but it doesn’t lose any of its vibrations even when the head is being bent to the side. The wand massager’s handle does tend to make my hands a bit numb, but it provides a lot of pleasure at the same time. I definitely do enjoy the Bodywand Rechargeble Wand Massager, and I’m not sure I honestly even need to look into getting another Rechargeable Wand Massager after this.

Cleaning this is pretty easy. There are some screw holes on the back of the massager that do have to have special care applied to avoid getting gunk in them, but it’s very easy to clean out. As for the rest of the massager, avoid getting water near the body and just clean the head of the massager instead. It’s compatible with all types of lubricant, and for storage, there aren’t any particular concerns; you can definitely storage this wand massager wherever you’d like, but it does come with a storage bag that makes storage pretty easy.
Overall, I like the Bodywand Rechargeable Massager, but I think I’d still go with the Body Wand Original Massager. I like the idea behind having a lot of power, and this massager doesn’t provide quite the same power. However, if the idea of having a massager that is cordless and has strong vibrations interested you, the Bodywand Rechargeable Massager definitely fits the bill.
