Designed for sensations deep inside the butt, the MEO.de Long Anal Tentacle dildo looks more like a tentacle than your average fantasy tentacle dildo. That’s simply due to its length. In a large, this dildo is 22″ in total length!

All along that length is the tentacle texturing with “suckers” running the most of the dildo. At the tip, the dildo comes to a triangular “point” that looks like it’d be the place a tentacle would lay its eggs. We’ll talk more about the softness later, but this “point” is not rigid, and it can hit into your internal walls without much discomfort.

The MEO.de Long Anal Tentacle Dildo is available in three sizes with graduating length and diameter. At its smallest, the dildo is 12″ in length with a largest diameter of 1.7″. At its biggest, the dildo is 22″ in length with a largest diameter of 2.75″.

What’s the Point of a Long Dildo?

If you’re used to “standard” dildos, looking at this gigantic, plumbing snake of a dildo might be somewhat frightening – and I get it. It definitely does NOT look like your average dildo.

However, some people really enjoy using long dildos, like these, for depth training.

“What’s Depth Training?” you ask.

Essentially, since the butt doesn’t have an easy-reach stopping point like the vagina, some people really enjoy slipping super-long, flexible dildos into their butt. Since the intestines are long and winding and the dildo is flexible, with practice, the dildo can gently curve itself inside of you, following the natural curves of your intestines.

You’ll note that I said “with practice”.

Feeling something poking around your intestines is not something most people happen into one day and slide a 22″ dildo into themselves. Not only does it feel kinda weird (how often do things touch your intestines?), but it also takes a bit to learn the technique and how your body is shaped.

While the long dildo is flexible, it doesn’t have a scope on it, so you, the user, still have to help guide it at the right angles to help it slide where it needs to be. That takes practice and a knowledge of your intestinal curves that you probably don’t have yet.

That’s why most people start slowly with an anal depth training toy like this; don’t expect to reach the base anytime soon after picking it up unless you have anal depth experience.

Long Anal Tentacle Dildo Review: Let’s Talk Design

Unlike your “standard” depth training dildo, the Long Anal Tentacle dildo does have some texture to it.

This can be good or bad, depending on how you like to use your depth training dildos.

On one hand, the texture reduces slippage; the dildo doesn’t slip out of your body quite as easily if you stop applying pressure. That texture provides some friction to reduce the dildo from popping right back outside of your body once you try to move your hand for a second.

On the other hand, that very same texture adds friction. If you’re someone who likes things super-slippery and without any sort of friction, you might find that the MEO.de Long Anal Tentacle dildo provides a bit more texture than you’re used to. You can help combat this by adding a lot of extra lubricant, but at a certain point with a dildo that’s 17″ long, you’re probably going to find spots where the lube has dried up, mid-use.

The design really is a perfect homage to tentacle toys, though. The tip features a triangular, tapered tip that looks exactly like porn has depicted the “egg laying” tentacles. While the silicone does have some plush to it, you can definitely feel this “tip” if you jam it directly into your body, so I recommend slow movements and exploration to find the best angles to slide it along your internal flesh.

Once you make it about 6″ down the shaft (on the Medium version, I received from this Long Anal Tentacle Dildo review), you’ll hit bulbed areas, each complete with two tentacle “suckers”. The bulbed ridges aren’t as noticeable as you’d think, but the tentacle “suckers” definitely stick out enough to be noticed during use. I highly recommend some extra lube near these suckers – which even feels fun on your hands. With some lube, running my hand up and down the suckers’ portion of the dildo just feels fantasy-fulfilling.

The bulbed ridges and tentacle suckers do NOT continue on the back side of the dildo. The other side is completely smooth, allowing you to focus on finding the sweet spot with the texture when you encounter it.

If you’re someone who can take the entire length of the dildo (again, that may take years – if it’s even possible for your anatomy!), you’ll be rewarded with an area of slightly thicker diameter. This slightly thicker “knot” at the base can help the dildo stay within the body if you want to simply leave it inside, get used to the sensations, and do something else with your hands.

It isn’t the largest knot we’ve ever encountered on a fantasy dildo, but it’s still a noticeable increase in girth; Especially if you’ve already stuffed 17″ of dildo inside of you, your body may not be up to the task of trying to stretch itself around a wide area of dildo. The one time we made it near the knot, it was definitely a “nope”.

The knot does not have any texturing, and the tentacle “sucker” texture ends before the knot begins.

At the very base of the dildo, you have a flared, concave base. This concave base is a suction cup. The sides of the suction cup are a bit too rigid to make this the most secure suction cup dildo I own, but it does have the suction cup base if you’re someone who uses those often.

We, honestly, would have preferred a standard, non-suction cup base. It would have offered a firmer surface that’s less likely to bend in when gripped firmly during use.

And we have yet to find any spot in the house to “stick” the Long Anal Tentacle Dildo that can reliably handle the length and heft of the dildo. It tends to pop off.

Even if we could find a spot, the length of the dildo means that most people will probably need to use their hands to “feed” the dildo into the body and help direct its angles.

All of that comes together to make us really prefer if this dildo had had a standard, non-suction base. It would have made it easier to grip, and it would have provided some sensation to the strap-on harness wearer if choosing to strap this dildo on.

Long Anal Tentacle Dildo Review: Does It Work for Depth Play?

I will admit: I would have liked to have seen an even softer silicone used for the Long Anal Tentacle dildo. The softer the silicone, the easier time it seems to have bending itself along the twists and turns inside.

I’d consider this a semi-soft silicone; it has enough rigidity to mostly hold its shape when held upright. With some of the super soft silicone toys I’ve used, the toy would entirely collapse on itself, the tip touching the base where you’re holding it, when you try to hold the toy upright.

That isn’t the case with the Long Anal Tentacle dildo (as you can see in the pictures). It definitely droops, but it isn’t the super soft flexibility that has as much rigidity as a wet noodle. Instead, it’s a bit like al dente pasta.

This isn’t the end of the world for anal stretching lovers, but it does require a level of patience, awareness, and slowness that you may not need if you were playing with a wet noodle. Since the Long Anal Tentacle dildo has a bit more rigidity, when you encounter a curve, it requires a bit of experimentation to find the right angle to push past that corner. We usually find that we have to pull out a bit, find an extreme angle (left or right) against the entrance as we push it back in, trying to coax the dildo to gently slip around the bend. (The initial S-curve tends to be one of our worst, but we think he has a pretty sharp initial bend.)

All of this comes together to simply mean that you just take things a bit slower when you slide a tentacle up your ass. I feel like that would probably be the case in real life too. ;)

It wouldn’t stop me from suggesting it as a first anal depth training toy as long as you have the patience to work with it. This is one of our (very few) anal depth toys, and while we recognize its quirks, they aren’t “quirky” enough to stop us from using it in place of other options; we simply know this is the anal depth toy that needs a bit more patience during use.

Unlike some anal depth toys, which stay at a relatively constant diameter throughout the length of the toy, the MEO Long Anal Tentacle Dildo gets wider the closer you go to the base. While this makes sense, in theory, it may also limit some of your anal depth training.

After all, if you’re trying to train for depth, you might be able to make it down to the 15″ length point – but your body may be uncomfortable with the 2″ diameter you’d need to be able to achieve if you want to make it that far down.

I think the gradually widening depth really adds to the “realism” of the tentacle dildo, but I highly recommend paying extra attention to the measurements – especially diameter. If you get the small, which will widen to barely over a biological penis’ width, you might not notice. But once you start going for the extra-long dildos (like the Large which has a length of 22″), the dildo’s diameter goes up pretty substantially. You’re looking at a diameter of 2.75″ at the wider base on the Large.

For my submissive and I, who love playing with large toys, that’s just a really, really wide diameter. We usually consider things in the 2″ to 2.5″ range to be “workable”, but 2.75″ is one of those sizes that requires a large, stretching warm-up – which might not be what your end goal was if you were getting a dildo for depth purposes.

My Favorite: Strap-On Use

I’m a sucker (pun intended) for a bit of attention when wearing a strap-on harness at kink events. For that, the MEO.de Long Anal Tentacle Dildo is a dream come true. How often do you see a femdom running around with a 20″ tentacle dildo hanging between their legs? That’s right: pretty much never.

With that in mind, this is an instant eyecatcher to every play party I’ve worn it to.

Not only does it make a great visual, but it’s a fantastic conversation starter people. It perfectly segues into talks about fantasy toys and pegging for a great way to get this introvert meeting new people.

Now, I’ve mostly worn it for show, but there have been a few BDSM scenes where I’ve “taken it for a test drive” at an event. All the things that were true with non-harness use are still true when you have it in a harness – only now there’s some added complexities.

For one, it’s impossible for me to orgasm via pegging while wearing the Long Anal Tentacle Dildo for pegging. It’s simply too much length to manage. Since anyone I’ve used this with is unable to take the dildo to the hilt, I’m using both hands to stabilize and hold onto the extra length of dildo while sliding it into them. This means there’s really zero pressure on the base of the dildo, so I don’t receive any clitoral stimulation.

From my discussions with other anal-loving friends, they note that, even when fully inserted, gentle and slow is the name of the game with extra-deep toys like this. With that in mind, even if I had it fully inserted, I’m not sure it would be a toy that led to orgasms for me. That’s not its fault, and it doesn’t stop me from using it, but it’s something to be aware of when choosing it.

If you’re willing to go slow with lots of readjustment, though, you can definitely strap on the Long Anal Tentacle Dildo for pegging play.
