Lapdance Shoes Clear Platform Sandals Review

Do you know what I’ve started doing lately? Pole dancing fitness classes. While it’s all still relatively new to me, one of the things I’ve quickly learned is that extremely high heels – like the kinds we call “stripper heels” can actually be helpful to performing some of the tricks on the pole. It changes the height of your body (giving you more space to do a trick before you come back onto the ground), and the heels can help you wrap your ankles around one another for tension that helps keep you on the pole too. Turns out, there’s a whole world of “things I didn’t know about pole dancing” that I’m still learning.

While I’m still a baby pole dancer – and nowhere near the point where I require sky-high heels in order to do the things I’m doing – there’s something about strapping on a pair of heels and slowly walking around a pole that makes me feel amazing. Granted, I then have to take the shoes back off before I attempt any tricks (to ensure I don’t break my ankle, at this point), but my instructor says that my slow, sexy walk has drastically improved since playing around with the Lapdance Shoes Clear Platform Sandals.

The Lapdance Shoes Clear Platform Sandal offers a pole-friendly, stiletto heel with a wide platform. Unlike sex toys, there’s not a whole lot of extra information to give you about these stripper heels. They feature a clear, fully see-through design with see-through straps and a see-through platform base. The base of the shoe has rubber treads on both the platform and the tip of the stiletto.

I’m particularly impressed with the Lapdance Shoes Clear Platform Sandals because of their wide size range. The shoes go to at least a size 13, so there’s a wide range of body types who can enjoy a seriously high stripper heel. A lot of inclusively-sized sexy heel lines are small, kitten heels, so this is a really nice, refreshing change of pace.

How do Clear Platform Sandals Fit?

The Lapdance Heels definitely feel like a pair of platform stiletto heels. If you’re not used to that, it might take you a bit to get back into practice. I’ve definitely been taking it slow – starting at home walking in the hallway for a half an hour then gradually increasing it to other spots in my home before taking it into the studio. I ended up with a blister near the front panel the first time I wore them, but after letting that heal, the next time I wore it, there were no blisters to be found. I think I had gotten past its “breaking in” period.

Now that they’re “broken in”, though, they feel comfortable enough (for sky-high heels), and I have no complaint. I’d probably turn into a mess if I tried to walk a few miles in them, but for sexy photos, short walks, and a bit of pole dancing, they’ve been pretty comfortable. They’re very, very tolerable for lapdances, and I don’t generally find any feet discomfort starting until I’ve been active in them for at least 10 minutes.

Weight-wise, they’re not heavy – and they’re not light. They feel a whole lot lighter than my combat boots, but they’re definitely heavier than sandals. They feel lighter than some of the other high heels that I own – which is definitely helpful when my legs are exhausted from pole dancing sessions. The fact that they’re platform heels and manage to feel about on-par with some of my pumps.

They do seem to fit true-to-size, so I’d select your usual size when picking up these heels.

How Do Lapdance Shoes Clear Platform Sandals Fasten?

This is probably the weirdest part of the Lapdance Heels Clear Platform Sandals. Maybe this is more common in stripper heels, but the shoe uses a different ankle strap fastener than I’ve ever seen before.

Instead of fastening through a buckle and post like many shoes, these heels use a slip-on design. Once you have the heel on your foot, you slide one strap beneath the other strap, and the two of them fasten through sheer tension. One of those ankle straps can be lengthened or shortened (so you can get the proper fit), but in order for the tension design to work, you definitely need to ensure that the ankle straps for these heels are very snug against your ankle.

If the straps aren’t snug, with enough walking, you end up sliding the fastener apart – as I’ve done once. As long as it’s snug, though, it seems to stay fastened just fine, and it makes getting in and out of these heels a serious breeze. I could see that being a huge bonus if you’re getting in and out of these heels all day (like when working a club).

This can also be a bonus if you’re wearing these platform heels at home. You can easily unstrap them to get into bed – or pull them off right after a lapdance before you climb on top of your partner and accidentally tear a hole in the couch. I’d actually say that it makes getting in and out of the shoes much, much easier than standard buckles. In many cases, “easy off shoes” aren’t as much of a bonus, but when it comes to stripper heels, it very much can be!

Final Thoughts: Lapdance Shoes Clear Platform Sandals Review

I really love these heels. They took a bit of time to break in to hit the “decently comfortable” level, but now that I’ve hit it, I haven’t had issues with blistering since. They still aren’t “hiking” shoes, but they’re very tolerable for short periods of time, and when I’m focused on my pole work, I actually don’t even notice the feeling of the shoes much at all!

The shoes easily slide on – and off – with ease due to their unique buckling system that provides security while also making easy removal a reality. This makes them perfect for club work – but also means you can easily take them on and off for easy sexual fun too – without accidentally poking out someone’s eye.

I love how these feel around my ankles, and I love how they make me feel good. After all of the pandemic, I think I forgot how amazing a good pair of heels can make me feel. Thanks to XGen for providing these Lapdance Shoes for my Clear Platform Sandals review.
