The Bondage Seductions game is a BDSM game. It includes 36 Bondage Seduction cards, 2 Silky Ties, 2 Dice, 1 Blindfold, and 1 Rubber Whip. The game takes you through different aspects of bondage, roleplaying, and impact play, and for the most part, it’s intended as an introductory way into trying something kinkier than the average sex board game.
The box this game comes in is pretty sturdy cardboard. It says “Bondage Seductions” pretty obviously on the box, so it’s not very discreet for storage, but it also will hold up pretty nicely if you end up placing heavier items on top of it. It includes a tray on the inside in order to keep all of the pieces to the game organized inside the box. It’s not very recycling friendly.
This game is intended for two heterosexual players as the cards are written with he/she. If you are playing in a group setting, it is possible to use this game, but you’ll have to pair off into partners in order to play it like the cards suggest. You can always make modifications though.
This game isn’t really much of a “game”. This isn’t really a bad thing. Instead, you roll each one of the dice, and the dice correspond to numbers on a card. You then pick out that card and do it. The instructions also say that you can choose to just read through cards and pick which ones you want to try out first. For that reason, there isn’t much “game” to it. It’s much more like a bondage kit as it includes the ideas of what to do as well as some of the kinky items you’ll need.
There are 36 game cards. Two are for rules which leaves 34 game cards remaining. Each one of the cards is either red or gold – each color is for male or female. Each one of the cards includes a short paragraph describing an entire BDSM scene that you and your partner are supposed to act out. There really is an entire paragraph and description – it isn’t just a short sentence. An annoyance of mine is that some of the cards have really horrible grammar and punctuation though; I really wish someone had proofread the cards before they went to print.
The game cards are okay. Some of them really seem like great choices while others make you wonder if someone had watched too much CSI-portrayed bondage before writing the cards. Almost all of the cards include some version of roleplay such as pretending to be a cheerleader or pretending to be some sort of an animal. Again, some of the cards are actually pretty good and seem like they’d be fun, arousing roleplays (especially the ones we tried), but other ones are more on the side of “Why would I like that?” I’m sure someone out there would, but for a mainstream game that is supposed to be about basic BDSM, it may frighten off those who really think this is what bondage is supposed to be about.

“Dim the lights and crank up the sluttiest music you own. Tonight is Lap Dance Night at the Lusty Living Room. Retrieva a kitchen chair and allow your stripper to tie your hands behind your back. After all, with true lap dances, she can touch you, but you cannot touch her! She should keep you clothes for the start of her dance. She should show you her best moves and be sure to grind that lap of yours as she begins to feel something stirring in those pants of yours. Is she a naughty dancer looking for a BIG TIP? Perhaps it’s time then for her to undo those pants of yours and offer a little more intimate contact. NO…she can’t untie your hands! You better not ask, or you’ll risk getting kicked out of the club!”
An example of one of the bad cards:
“Hey wrangler! This here is rodeo night and you’re the cowgirl that puts all the cowboys to shame. No, your lover is not one of the cowboys. He’s a filthy, squealing pig. He should get on all fours and act like the pig that he is. Pretend one of the hand ties is a lasso and chase your naked dirty pig-boy around the room until you can catch him in your lasso. Now it’s time to tie him up. Tie just his hands behind his back. Or, if he’s willing, hogtie his hands and feet together with a sturdier rope (or extra neck ties, bathrobe ties, scarves, etc. would work). Now that he is all bound up, he’s yours to do with what you please.”
The game also comes with 2 silky ties, a blindfold, and a rubber whip.
The Rubber Whip is a type of whip that you’d expect to find an adult store, but it definitely will hold up. It’s like one of those Sportsheets rubber whips. It has a slight sting to it, but if you play lightly, you’ll be okay with using it as a beginner, and it should hold up awhile.
The blindfold is made from a red satin, and it’s really soft against the face. They also included some sort of padding on the inside of the blindfold, so it’s not see-through at all. Unfortunately, your nose does tend to get in the “way” of the blindfold, so you can see out from underneath the blindfold a bit, but for the most part, it blocks out your vision.
The 2 silky ties work well for tying up your partner, but they are a bit short, so they will only tie up wrists or ankles. Don’t expect to do any large bondage or be able to tie someone up to a third bondage point. Instead, just expect them to tie up wrists. They are silky smooth, so they sometimes knot really tightly, so it can be hard to get them to unknot. For that reason, keep a pair of scissors near-by “just in case” or tie the knot slightly looser than you think you should. They don’t really quite behave like saran wrap or bondage tape.
Overall, Bondage Seductions isn’t a bad game, but I wouldn’t say that it’s impressive either. It gives you some really good suggestions, and the items that it includes (especially for the price!) are a good value if you’re just starting off, but I wish the cards had been improved upon a bit. It’s like the cards want to be beginner-orientated cards for the most part, and then you get a hard-core kink item thrown in once in awhile.
