VVD Vkini Review

The Vkini hangs up on a clean, white wall, next to other hangers. It is very vibrant and pink. For my VVD Vkini review.

Hands-free nipple vibrations in a pseudo-bra that offers a lingerie-like look? Welcome to exactly that in my VVD Vkini review.

VVD Vkini Review: The Basic Design

It’s easiest to think of the VVD Vkini as two small vibrators. Each one of these breast vibrators operates as its own vibrator; they are not electronically connected in any way, shape, or form. Each vibrator must be turned on individually via the power button in the center of the viewer-facing heart. (Both are rechargeable and offer a playtime of slightly under an hour. Each vibe is splashproof, IPX6).

Each breast vibrator is connected to that wiggly, swirly, “spring” protruding from a sturdy round circle at the base of the “bra”. All of the vibrator, swirl, and circle bits are covered in a pink, soft silicone.

Elastic straps are then sewn onto the circles, allowing you to “wear” the round circles hands-free. Each elastic strap is sewn on with a loop, so the elastic straps can slide along the circle. (Not necessarily “with ease”. The silicone material of the loop adds a bit of friction that really helps keep the straps in place, but they can be pushed with two-handed effort.)

My fingers hold one of the nipple vibrator attachments away from the bra itself, showcasing how the magnetic attachment port designs let the attachments swap in and out. For my VVD Vkini review.

On the side that’s facing the breast, each vibrator is equipped with a wide magnet. This magnet allows you to snap in one of the two “attachments” that the Vkini comes with. There’s a flower-looking attachment and a lips-looking attachment. Your chosen attachment snaps into that magnet in seconds (really, it’s super easy) to easily swap out textures.

The attachment itself is what makes contact with the nipple. At least, that’s what it’s designed for. Either the nipple will slide into a flower with a bumpy interior texture, or it will slide into a mouth with a protruding tongue.

The attachment points do NOT offer different functionality; they both just vibrate. Each just provides different textures for the vibrations to shake through. The tongue does not flick. Both just vibrate – neither does anything different. The magnetic quick-swap system simply seems to be a way to get the silicone attachments to swap in and out with ease – not necessarily to transmit battery juice to power a new type of movement.

The Vkini hangs, showcasing some of the adjustment points. It has an adjustment buckle shown on the halter strap, one between the cups, and two shown on the behind-the-back strap.

Adjustable Points on the VVD Vkini

While the first generation of the VVD Vkini had a very limited size range, VVD has subsequently released a second generation that offers more adjustability points.

Notably, the VVD Vkini can be adjusted:

  • At the strap that adjusts around the back like a traditional “bra” strap.
  • Around the halter neck strap (two adjustment points, one on each side of the buckle for the halter)
  • Between the two cups themselves, allowing the swirly cups to come closer or further away from one another.

As best as I can tell doing my own measurements and checking over the “official” ones, your adjustability ranges are:

  • An underbust/chest band circumference that’ll go up to at least 50″ underbust while stretched
  • A center/connecting band that connects the two circles that’ll go up to 3.5″ max
  • The opening of the circle is 4″ in diameter. This is pretty slim for a breast.
  • A deep nipple opening diameter of 0.5″ with the full flower giving you 1.5″
  • A deep nipple opening diameter of 0.8″ with the tongue attachment

Each one of these straps is made from somewhat-stretchy elastic, so you can fudge another inch or two if you’re willing to have the strap really cut into your flesh at the tightest settings.

Each one of the straps adjusts like a standard bra, allowing you to use the strap slider to shorten or lengthen any given strap by doubling up part of the strap.

Throughout our VVD Vkini review period, we haven’t had any issues with the straps lengthening themselves or adjusting their sizing while wearing the VVD Vkini.

The VVD Vkini‘s adjustability range works okay for my plus-sized, 40B body with forward-facing nipples. For my partner’s broader chest (a 38A breasts with “east west” breast set up), they can not get the Vkini to sit comfortably on top of each nipple at the same time. The between-the-cups adjustability is about 0.5″ too short. If you have nipples that face away from the center chest line or a particularly broad chest, the Vkini may not fit you correctly.

That all being said, if you fall outside of the size range, the VVD Vkini isn’t necessarily a non-starter for you. You can do…

A DIY Solution

Realistically, the built-in elastic straps aren’t necessarily “required” to use the Vkini. All of the functionality of the Vkini is wrapped up within the two swirly cups themselves; the elastic straps are just providing a built-in method to keep the Vkini on your chest.

This means you can cut off any of the straps on the Vkini as desired. If one of them doesn’t fit how you want, you can simply cut it off and replace it with a ribbon that better fits your sizing. Each one of the straps is only sewn in a basic loop around the perimeter of the swirly cups; it’s a breeze to cut one off.

If you’re handy with a sewing machine, you probably also extend the strap or resew a brand new center strap to allow for more size adjustments.

The functionality with the VVD Vkini is in the swirly cups’ functionality itself – not necessarily in the pretty – but basic – elastic straps that hold the Vkini onto the chest. If size limitations are what are keeping you from trying the Vkini, you might want to plan to cut off straps and replace as needed.

Designed for Small to Medium Cup Sizes

The VVD Vkini attempts to adjust to most cup sizes with its swirly design. Each one of these “swirls” means that the vibrator itself can protrude further away from the body, allowing it to work with different cup sizes.

This only works, however, if three things are happening:

  • Your breast tissue must fit within the circular loops of the Vkini. If your breast tissue is too wide to actually slide through this circle, it can be hard to get a “secure” fit. Each circular loop is 4″ in diameter which was a tight fit for the “width” of my breast tissue where it connects to my body. I’ve seen the VVD Vkini worn by larger cup sizes that don’t fit inside of the loop, but at that point, the loop is simply positioned on top of the breast tissue itself. This isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker, but it does mean that the loop can easily slip and slide on top of the surface of your breasts. You might find it doesn’t stay as securely as it was originally designed. Tighting the elastic straps as snugly as possible may help reduce movement of the circles.
  • Your nipple must point towards the vibrator OR be able to be comfortably positioned to point at this vibrator. For people with nipples that naturally point downwards, you may find it difficult to get the vibrator to align on top of the nipple. Because the vibrator is attached to this swirly spring, it doesn’t apply any upwards or downwards pressure on the nipples. If a heavy breast is pressing up against the vibrator on a spring, the spring may simply keep stretching, allowing the breast tissue to slide back towards its natural position, not keeping it aligned with the vibe.
  • Your chest must be narrow enough to comfortably fit within the straps of the Vkini. If you have nipples that point towards the edges of your body, away from the center line, this may exascerbate the fit issue as you’ll need even more length between the two cups to align both vibrators correctly.

We’ve tried to trial this as thoroughly as possible for this VVD Vkini review, but it’s worth noting that neither of us have large breasts. I have a relatively small B-cup chest, and my submissive has AA cups. The VVD Vkini fits both of our breast tissue just fine when we can get it lined up with our nipples. But I also know that isn’t going to be the case for people with larger chests or other breast anatomy, and I want to note this as I’m seeing it.

My hand pushes the vibrator through the center of the circle exterior, showcasing how far the "spring" will let the vibrator move away from the circle. For my VVD Vkini review.

VVD themselves say that the bra vibrator is designed to fit small to medium chests from A to C cup – with the occasional D cup. I would worry that anyone over a D – and anyone who identifies with the criteria above – may have difficulty getting a secure fit with this bra.

And since the whole point of this vibrating bra sex toy is to make nipple vibrations comfortable and hands-free, if you’re thinking you might align with any of these points, it might be better to find a different method that doesn’t rely on this Vkini design.

VVD Vkini Review: How Does It Feel?

I gotta be honest here: I was actually kinda horny looking at the VVD Vkini review sitting on my to-do list. I was excited. I’ve had hands-free clitoral stimulation for awhile now (via the Lora DiCarlo Baci), and I figured it’d be amazing to be able to double the sensation without interrupting my hands.

So I was really surprised when, as someone who was already kinda horny and receptive to being more-so, that the Vkini didn’t add much. The vibrations didn’t add any sensation to my nipples. They didn’t actually feel like anything, honestly. My nipples felt exactly the same whether I was wearing the Vkini or not. All I felt was the pressure around the back of my neck from the Vkini’s “bra” that needed to be fastened firmly in order to support the weight of my breasts and keep the Vkini’s attachments in their specific place.

I figured my breasts might be too small to fill in the attachment heads, but my breast tissue was actually “overfilling” them, meaning my nipples were definitely in there. I tried repositioning quite a few times. No matter what I did, it was like the vibrations of the bra’s motor weren’t actually making it anywhere to my nipples.

Close up on the wearer's side of the tongue and lips attachment. There's a small flicking tongue inside of the lips.

The best sensation I found was with the patterned vibrations and the tongue attachment. It felt a bit like being pinched on occasion, and that was alright.

After giving this four separate tries for my VVD Vkini review, I just really haven’t found any way to make the bra feel like anything. Even when I start kinda turned on, sensitized, and wanting to play, adding the bra still doesn’t feel like any sensations.

It’s wild, honestly. I’ve had my fair share of bad sex toys over the years, but this one doesn’t feel “bad”. It just doesn’t feel at all. And that’s so odd to me. It’s clearly vibrating. Why can’t I feel much of the vibrations in my nipples?

I’m really hoping that VVD comes out with a new version that offers air suction toys instead of vibrations. Air suction toys used on the nipples feel A+, and I would be really excited to see the market make something like that.

When used on my submissive partner who has a much smaller chest than I do, we found a similar, but different, experience. He enjoyed the Vkini when other stimulation was going on in the body. When we added the Vkini during an edging session, he said it was a great way to add more sensation without requiring any additional hands.

However, that was after some trial and error. When we initially played with this for the VVD Vkini review with the toy as the sole sensation, he was also struggling to find much sensation from it.

In his opinion, it offers noticeably less stimulation than if you were using nipple clamps or had someone physically touching your nipples with your fingers. The toy offers a very, very gentle stimulation, and while he can orgasm from his nipples alone most days, we were struggling to get the Vkini to add enough stimulation to get aroused when used on its own with no other stimulation.

However, it worked better when the Vkini was used alongside other pleasures. Its light stimulation was simply a “cherry on top” of mutual masturbation when it wasn’t expected to provide enough stimulation to be the focus of teasing.

When used as the star of the show, it just doesn’t provide enough sensation to be the star of the show.

We both agreed that the patterns offer better stimulation than the steady modes. The constant-speed settings blend into the background too quickly, and they quickly become easy to forget about. The patterns keep the nerve endings at attention.

We have both tried both of the attachments. We get about the same sensations with either.

VVD Vkini Review: How Does It Look?

I’ll give it this: on my B-cup breasts that look like they’re “overfilling” the Vkini, the Vkini does have a hot appearance to it. It looks like a lewd type of lingerie with nipples hidden from view while the excess breast tissue overflows all around it.

I wasn’t as fond of the small-width bra straps that cut in around fat rolls. It wasn’t the end of the world, and I’m not sure thicker straps would have solved that issue; there just aren’t a ton of straps on the Vkini to help support the weight of the breasts and keep it in place.

So, I’d give it a solid “B” for looking like a hot piece of lingerie. A bit comically large around the vibrators for the nipples, but my partner heavily approved of the look and was really excited to see it work when I initially put it on.

Does It Stay Put? Using It Around the House

Something that straps onto the chest and doesn’t require your hands is in the best position to be worn around the house, adding sensation as you go. We were really hoping it’d be something that could be used during cocktail service or other service activities for continuous pleasure while he’s doing things for me.

We’ve found the sensations are a little too soft for that, but you can read all of those details above.

Fit-wise, it DOES stay in place, though. With my larger breast tissue, the circles around the vibrators anchored around the breast tissue, and the Vkini vibes stayed right on the nipples – even while moving around the house. If I bent over (to grab things from the fridge/etc.), they might need repositioning, but anything that kept me standing upright and with my breasts relatively in the same spot kept the Vkini in the same spot.

On my partner’s wide-set AA breasts, the Vkini moved around relatively often, and it needed to be repositioned quite a few times. This may be because the Vkini’s tips are unable to actually reach both nipples at once with the sizing limitation. Having the nipples securely in both vibrator tips may help keep it in place. I’m unsure.

The charging cable is plugged into the Vkini. The unique cable lets it charge both nipple vibrators at once. For my VVD Vkini review.

A Perfect Charging Solution

Before I finish up this review, I feel like it’s important to call out VVD on something they did really well, and that’s the recharging design.

The charging cable features a split cable, allowing you to charge both of the breast vibrators at once. It takes about 2 hours for each vibrator to hit a full charge, so you’re only dealing with a 2-hour charge time instead of a 4-hour charge time.

Each vibrator features a pin-style charging port, similar to other partially waterproof sex toys you’ve probably used in the past. (It requires shoving that pin-style charger deep into the vibe while being met with a bit of resistance.)

It makes charging the toy effortless. The charger stays in place, and you can charge both at once. Serious applause to VVD for thinking that through!

Everything included with the VVD Vkini toy. There's the bra itself, the four different magnetic attachment tips, an instruction manual, the charging cable, and a purple drawstring storage bag.

Summary

The VVD Vkini has potential, and it might be what you’re looking for, depending on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for something to add a little bit of sensation via two hands-free vibrators during other sexual activities AND have a narrow enough chest to fit the bra’s measurements, the Vkini can work.

It also has a very unique look to it, and some people are going to find its appearance as hot as a piece of lingerie.

For those who can orgasm via nipple stimulation or those looking for something to be used as wearable foreplay teasing, though, the sensations on the Vkini are not strong enough to get you where you’re going.
