UPDATE MARCH 2026: This silver coloration of the Mistress is no longer in production. You can get a purple version here, or other colors directly from VixenCreations. This sex toy review remains as a reference for anyone who’s curious about the toy. The Vixen Mistress is a high-quality, silicone dildo made by Vixen Creations.
The Mistress (it stole my title, you know) is about six inches and has a diameter of a little over an inch. It’s made from pure silicone and has a nice, strong base to support it for harness and anal use. The dildo itself is just long and lean without any realistic texture, but it does have a nice pronounced head to it. The base actually is a bit concave, so if the Mistress is stuck to something, it actually provides a suction-cup like effect. It won’t last long enough for actual play, but it lasted long enough to amuse my submissive enough to stick it to my laptop multiple times. The Mistress also has no taste to it, so if you want to use it orally (like we did), it works great for that.
This dildo comes in Vixen Creation’s regular packaging. It includes a long, plastic tube with two flexible plastic caps on each end. It’s see-through so you can see the Mistress, and the packaging is completely minimal.
While there is a vibrating version of the Mistress with a hole in the bottom for a bullet, I chose the non-vibrating version. Just letting you know that is an option. However, we didn’t need something that vibrated, so this works great for us. If you do decide, on a random urge, to want to add vibrations to this Vixen Creations dildo, you can press a vibrator at the base of the dildo, and it actually carries vibrations well.
So how does it feel during insertion? It has enough firmness to feel pleasurable during use without being too soft to be a problem during insertion. It does absorb lubricant to an extent, so if you plan on having a long play session, it will require re-lubricating this silicone dildo. It doesn’t feel amazingly filling, but it does feel pleasurable. This wouldn’t work for size queens though. If you know where your g-spot is, thrusting with this dildo may actually stimulate the g-spot. It did for me. However, it doesn’t have enough firmness to actually apply any sort of pressure to the g-spot, so most of the pleasure that it will apply there will be generally very soft.
The base of the dildo is pretty strong. Compared to some of the other dildos that I own, this actually has a weight-supporting base. When placed into a harness, the base does keep the dildo nicely tight up against the body, and the body of the dildo itself actually stands up just as nicely as if it was sitting on a table. There’s no drooping with this gorgeous dildo. This has made it one of my go-to dildos for harness use.
What my submissive and I first used this for was as an oral dildo. Since he’s bisexual and a crossdresser, I’ve been looking for a dildo that would work great for the simulation of a blowjob. This worked great for that. Since it’s tasteless, long, and thin, it works great for teaching someone how to give a blowjob or just teasing someone by being able to watch them give a blowjob.
After we used it for a blowjob, it’s been our favorite go-to toy for strap-on anal. It’s thin enough for an anal beginner while still having the curve for male prostate stimulation and a nice pronounced head for some texture. It’s filling anally even though it wasn’t so filling vaginally.
I guess I should mention a possible downside after praising this great dildo over and over. While I didn’t experience this, some women have mentioned that the pronounced head is actually a little awkward and a little painful during use. We haven’t experienced it ourselves, but some women did say it’d rub awkwardly up against the pubic bone. Again, just something to consider.
Care of this pure silicone dildo is actually pretty easy. Because it’s made from silicone, it can actually be sanitized and shared. You just have to boil this dildo in hot water for three minutes, and it will be sanitized. To clean it for a regular use, Vixen Creations recommends cleaning it with regular soap and water. During use, remember that silicone lubricant isn’t compatible with this toy because the two silicones will react. Instead, use water-based lubricant to protect your dildo. For storage, I keep it in its original packaging.
I’m extremely impressed with my first Vixen Creations dildo. It seems to have a stronger base than the Tantus toys I’ve used, and it was just really pleasurable for everything we decided to use it for. We’ve loved every Vixen toy we’ve used since.
