The Sportsheets Cuff Love Hot Pink Soft Cuffs is a set of two little faux fur and velcro cuffs. They come in a bright, hot pink color, and they fasten by velcro. In case you wanted a full set, there is also a blindfold available by Sportsheets in the same color scheme and materials. The two cuffs include a clip that will attach the cuffs to one another.
The packaging for the Soft Cuffs is large and cylindrical, and it showcases the features of the product. There’s a picture of a couple enjoying the cuffs on the front, but it’s all tasteful. I wouldn’t recommend keeping the cuffs in the storage box just because it’s really big compared to the size of the cuffs.
The cuffs are fully adjustable. I have pretty big wrists, and they fit me with room to spare. I’d say that almost anyone would find that they would be able to fit into these cuffs with absolutely no problem. If you have a smaller-sized ankle, you should find no problem fitting these cuffs over your ankles as well. If you have moderate to larger-sized ankles, though, these cuffs are probably going to end up being too small.
These two cuffs connect. There’s a one-ended clip that is attached to one of the cuff O-rings. This is a one-sided clip, so it will not remove from the one cuff, so even if you choose to use the two of them separately, one cuff will always have the clip hanging off of it. However, the one-ended clip will attach to the O-ring of the opposite cuff, so the two cuffs will stay connected. It doesn’t give you much wiggle room though. There are about two inches of room between the two cuffs when they are connected to one another, so there isn’t much room to move or pull when attached to the cuffs.
The cuffs are comfortable. That’s a neat part about this faux fur/felt-type material. It makes the cuffs very comfortable against the skin. The velcro portion, while a bit stiff, is completely on the outside of the cuff, so while ti would be scratchy if it did touch the skin, it doesn’t touch the skin, so the cuffs are very comfortable. Because of the adjustable features, you can make the cuffs tighter or looser for optimal comfort in your kink play.
Obviously, as the cuffs fasten with velcro, these are not the most unescapeable cuffs out there. That makes these cuffs an amazing choice for those who are worried about inescapable bondage options, and it’s also a good option for us. Yes, we use a ton of cuffs and leather cuffs that end up locking for inescapable bondage, but these still come in a lot of use for us.
Why? Because we use this at night. Some of the leather and metal cuffs can tend to be really painful at night or cut off circulation. For bondage that your partner can sleep in, it needs to be easily escapeable in case of an emergency, and it needs to be very comfortable to make your partner want to wear it for a full night’s sleep. The Soft Cuffs do a great job with this. The submissive says that they’re very, very comfortable to wear overnight, so these have become our go-to cuffs for night-time wearing.
Cleaning of these is pretty simple. As they’re made from faux fur and velcro, I wouldn’t recommend soaping them up, but you can wipe them down with a slightly damp washcloth if need be. Because they’re felt material, I highly recommend avoiding putting these cuffs anywhere near bodily fluids or enemas unless you are going to fluid-bond them to a partner. For storage, they can pretty much be tossed anywhere.
Overall, these are some good cuffs. Is it an inescapable form of bondage? No. However, if you want some good, quality cuffs that are comfortable, easy to escape for bondage, and can be worn for long periods of time without any issues, the Sportsheets Soft Cuffs are a really great choice. With lots of color choices, you can also get the ones that appeal most to you. Thanks to FunWares for sending out these restraints for my Sportsheets Cuff Love Soft Cuffs review.
