PicoBong Vibrators Comparison Overview

Curious to learn about what the PicoBong toys are about? In this post, to avoid saying the same thing over and over (as functionality-wise, all of the PicoBong toys are the same), I will be explaining the functionality, how the PicoBong toys work, and the basics of each one of the toys in this post. For ease of access, this post will be linked in all three of the individual reviews of the toy.

From the designers behind LELO, the PicoBong brand focuses on creating high-quality products that apply to a younger audience at more affordable prices. PicoBong vibrators are supposed to advocate healthy and safe adventurism, personal awareness, and the journey of self-love (and others).

There are six PicoBong toys in their current line. There is the PicoBong Mahana which is a couple’s vibrator, the PicoBong Koa which is a cock-ring-type vibrator, the PicoBong Ipo which is a finger vibrator, the PicoBong Honi which is a small bullet vibrator, the PicoBong Kiki which is a clitoral vibrator, and the PicoBong Tano which is an anal vibrator. The PicoBong line includes a ton of new toys for different purposes, and each toy is made from silicone and plastic and takes one AAA battery for use. Each one is also water-proof and includes 12 modes of vibration.

The packaging for each one of the new PicoBong toys is really cute. Each toy comes in a cardboard box that has a see-through window to show off the toy itself. The box’s color matches the color of the toy. The box shows off the features of the toy as well. Inside, each toy comes with the toy itself as well as a small dice. This dice has six sides, and on each side, it shows a little outline of a PicoBong toy. The downside to this dice is the glue they used to make it stay in the packaging; it will easily take you upwards of ten minutes to pick off all of the glue and paper that is stuck to the dice after it comes out of the packaging. That was definitely frustrating.

The dice is a cute addition, but I’m not sure exactly what you’re supposed to do with it. As a consumer, I like it, but if you don’t own all six toys, there’s not much you can do with it aside from using it as a decoration.

Each one of the PicoBong toys is controlled by a AAA battery. This battery can easily be inserted by unscrewing the place where the plastic part meets the silicone part. Once inserted, the toy can be easily screwed back together. Each toy, aside from the Mahana (which takes two), takes one AAA battery to function.

Each one of the toys shares the same control structure as well. There is a PicoBong logo embedded into the silicone on the side of each toy. The “P” in Pico is the minus sign and the “B” in “Bong” is the plus sign to control the vibrations. The buttons can be a bit hard to press, and as the vibrations don’t change unless you hold down the buttons (as far as I can tell), it can be even more difficult to control. If you don’t have fingernails, it should be much easier to control. As I have long fingernails, I don’t want to hurt the silicone by using the tips of my fingers to control the vibrations. I have to use the pad of my fingers which is much harder than using the tips.

Once you’ve gotten to the top speed on a PicoBong vibrator, you can then continue to go up to reach the different pattern modes that the PicoBong vibrator comes with. When you’re done using it, you can hold down the minus sign to make the sex toy turn off.

The vibrations are probably going to be a disappointment to most. They are on the buzzy side, and they are definitely on the lower end of strength. On toys like the Tano (anal vibrator) where the vibrations are just a fun addition and not meant to induce orgasms, this won’t matter as much but on clitoral-intended toys such as the Kiki (clitoral vibrator), it definitely makes a large difference. If you are very sensitive to vibrations, the vibrations will be enough for orgasm for you, but for most people, the vibrations will not enough for orgasm. They are enough to make a good tease, though, and the vibrations don’t numb you either. This means you could continually tease someone for awhile without having them go numb to the sensations; that could lead to some fun.

The vibrations are, on the bright side, pretty quiet. With the television on, I can’t hear the vibrator when it’s on my thigh. This can lead to some fun in-public play as long as you aren’t expecting strong, powerful vibrations for orgasm out of the toy as well.

In general, I’d recommend the PicoBong toys only if you are okay with a teasing vibration or are looking for a good in-public toy. Because of the quiet vibrations, the PicoBong toys could easily go into a bathroom or out in public for fun. However, the vibrations will probably not be strong enough, for most people, for orgasm.
