Sold by Castle Megastore, the vibrator is made from plastic and features multiple levels of steady vibration intensities. Easy to power, this toy plugs in to be an easily rechargeable wand massager that doesn’t need to be connected to a cord to work.
While decently designed, the packaging is nothing to write home about. It features a photo of the wand massager at about a life-size ratio. The box is entirely cardboard and doesn’t allow you to view the vibrator inside. The backside of the packaging provides information about the various features. On the bright side, the box is simply rectangularly shaped, so it’d be extremely simple to giftwrap. The wand massager also comes with the compatible charger and a one year warranty.
The Mighty Wand has a pretty simplistic design that focuses all of the vibrations in the head of the toy. You can definitely still feel the vibrations in the handle of the toy, but the vibrations are strongest in the head of the toy. The head of this vibrator is also flexible along the white neck you can see. Unlike other massagers, the vibration intensity does not get weaker when you bend the neck; it’ll stay the exact same intensity no matter how you have the head positioned. For those who prefer having a bent vibrator neck (for whatever reason), this could be a fantastic addition.
With claims of “premiere, ultra-soft touch material”, you might find yourself a bit disappointed. This wand massager is just made out of standard plastic. It even has visible seams along the handle (though no seams along the head of the toy). It just feels like standard plastic – but it is nice to touch. Nothing premiere or ultra-soft, however. It’s rigid plastic.
Controlling the vibration intensity offers you the ability to choose exactly how intense you want your toy to be. This wand massager uses a scrolling wheel placed in the middle of the toy. Just slide the wheel to the exact amount of intensity you want. Nothing like the standard “low/high” buttons that can be found on some toys. This allows you to simply adjust to the perfect amount. The side of the vibrator also includes a push-down button that instantly changes the current level of steady state vibrations into a pulsating vibration. The pulsation only lasts as long as the button is held down.
Don’t worry about having to plug this massager into the wand or changing out the batteries. Instead, the Mighty Wand Rechargeable Massager, is, well, a rechargeable wand massager. Opposite the button for the pulsation is a covered charging port. Just remove the charging port, plug in the charger, and allow the toy to charge. A full charge will allow an hour’s use of the vibrator.
When it comes to strength, expect that the Mighty Wand provides enough vibration intensity to get most people to orgasm without a problem. It’s not quite as powerful as the Hitachi, but it’s still stronger than most vibrators. The lowest setting is actually strong than many other vibrator’s “high” setting. These are nice, deep rumbly vibrations that should feel good for most people.
Unlike other wand massagers, the Mighty Wand does offer a bit of a pattern option. If you hold down the small button on the side of the massager, the steady vibrations will instantly change to pulsating vibrations. However, the pulsating ends as soon as you take your finger off of the button. This means, if you want to enjoy this pulsation, you need to hold down this little button the entire time. That’s just particularly poor design, and it makes it frustrating to use the pulsation at all. If you just wanted to use it to temporarily tease a partner, it makes sense, but otherwise, it’s annoying to hold down for long periods of time AND occasionally gets pressed when just trying to hold the wand massager.
Of course, no wand massager can be made anymore without instantly getting compared to the cult classic Hitachi magic wand. This is no different. The Mighty Wand is a better choice if you find yourself wanting more choice over the Hitachi’s vibration intensity. You can choose “low” or “high” or anything in-between with the scroll wheel control! Unfortunately, at the same time, the Mighty Wand isn’t quite as powerful as the Hitachi. It’s not bad – and much stronger than most vibrators – but it’s probably only 75% of intensity when you compare the Hitachi and the Mighty Wand’s highest intensities. If you find that the highest setting on the Hitachi is too much, it would make a good case for the Mighty Wand. However, the highest setting is still insanely powerful, and it should be enough to get most people off without much of a problem.
When you want to clean it, you’re going to have to be a bit careful. This vibrator isn’t waterproof or splashproof. I’d recommend wetting and soaping a towel and cleaning off the toy instead of placing it directly under water. Make sure to take extra care to clean the ridging along the head and neck as well as underneath the neck. The ridging presents extra cleaning concerns, but it’s not too difficult to clean well. While you may not find that you need lubricant for this one, if you do, it’s compatible with all types of lubricant. For storage, make sure the scroll wheel is clicked “off”, and just keep it wherever you’d like! The plastic doesn’t pick up hair or lint. Just make sure not to misplace the charger.
Overall, the Mighty Wand Rechargeable is going to be a good choice for people who want to perfectly pick a level of strong, rumbly vibrations and don’t want to be hassled with a cord. It’s not quite as powerful as other wand massagers, but it’s still very noticeably strong. The pulsation control might be a good choice for teasing, but the required constant pressure means it might not be a good choice for those who want it constantly. The vibrations should be more-than-enough for most people, and the vibrator is easy to operate and charge.
