Lolita Princess Dress

The Lolita Princess Dress is an adorable dress for men. Available in a bright pink in sizes Small through 2XL, this dress is one of XDress’s first quality cosplay costumes. The dress has a side-zipper to easily get into it, and it also comes with a matching choker fabric necklace. The front of the dress also features a purely-decorative corset-lacing that’s done with satin ribbon. This dress comes in a standard shipping bag that is easily opened. It comes with the chocker necklace as well as the dress itself. There is a tag on the dress, but it’s easily removed with scissors before wearing.

To give an idea about the sizing, my submissive is about six feet tall. He usually wears a junior’s size 5/7 in pants and a medium/large in junior’s shirts. So yeah, he’s a pretty skinny guy that can fit into most average-sized female clothing. For the Lolita Princess Dress, we ordered a “Medium” size as it seemed to fit best with the size chart that was provided with the dress. As this crossdressing lolita dress goes up to a 2XL, you can easily pick which size that works for you. One of the things you’ll have to remember about this men’s lingerie dress is that it’s made for broader chests, so the shoulders and chest are larger than you’d expect from dress at Target. So keep that in mind if you’re used to purchasing female clothing to wear.

The dress actually looks pretty adorable. This is not really an outfit you can wear out in public if trying to blend in, but it STILL is a really cute outfit. It’s one of those outfits you’ll want to wear inside as more of lingerie as part of being “passable” is public is blending in, and this is not one of those outfits. For flouncing around the house, though, it’s amazing. Plus, it is really light-weight around the bottom of the dress, so when you twirl, the dress will float away from the body, and when you sit down, the dress can easily be arranged all out from around you – both very fun and feminine things to do when wearing a dress like this.

Depending on what type of breast inserts you use (if you use some), the neckline of this dress could cause a problem. Most bras should easily hide under the neckline of this one, but if you have breast inserts that extend up past the cup area of the bra, they might stick out – especially if you bend over. However, the neckline of the dress is more of a square neckline, and it wouldn’t show cleavage on a female-wearer, so it’s not going to be an issue with the neckline for a male wearer without cleavage as well. It’s just something you’ll want to consider if you’ll be bending over and still want to be passable.

This is not really a dress you want to wear for long periods of time because it definitely gets itchy pretty quickly. Around the arms and on the necklace choker especially, the dress is extremely scratchy. You could avoid this by wearing some sort of long undershirt under the dress, but if you just wear the dress without any undershirt, the sleeves and the choker start to irritate the skin after about two or three hours of active wear (as-in, not just sitting still). The sleeves and choker necklace are the largest offenders since they’re the closest to your skin while wearing it, but if you manage to regularly rub up against any other areas of the dress, that can get pretty scratchy too.

On the bright side, the cotton is pretty thin, so it’s a pretty breathable material. It doesn’t end up feeling too hot or feeling too stuffy. The cotton is pretty thin (but not see-through), so the outfit has some breathability which helps you from getting too warm – especially if you choose to put on undergarments under this outfit as well.

Showing how fluffy this dress is

The choker necklace for this outfit is made of the same material as the dress. This choker is just a piece of the same fabric that the dress is made out of with the same lace as well. It has a piece of velcro on the back that fastens it, but the piece of velcro is kinda small, so if you don’t have as large of a neck as the model does, the choker will be a bit loose on you. (I’d have loved to see a different fastening system that allowed for adjustability of the choker). The choker does add something cute to the outfit, though, and it helps with the “lolita” look.

We’ve tried the Lolita Princess Dress with a lot of different accessories. One of the most “must have” accessories for it is a petticoat. This will make the dress much more fluffy-appearing and really give the appearance of having larger hips. So definitely add a petticoat under this one if you can. Along with that, some sort of heels work really well with this one, and if you have anything lolita-like (pigtails and such), go for it. Tights and long socks work well with lolita outfits too. Anything that looks “innocent” is going to go well with this dress for guys, and the colors white and black go especially well with it.

Overall, the Lolita Princess Dress is pretty adorable. While it’s not one of those things you can wear outside and be passable, it IS one of those things that’s very, very hard to find in a size a male could wear, and XDress has made that possible (and cute!) While we wish the material was a little less scratchy, the dress looks very adorable when worn, and it stays pretty true to the “Lolita” fashion style. Plus, it just feels very fun and feminine when wearing it. Thanks to XDress for providing this crossdresser dress for my Lolita Princess Dress review.
