Dorcel Geisha Butt Plug

UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2022: The Dorcel Geisha Butt Plug is no longer in production. Instead, I’d recommend the Blush Vibra instead; it offers the same internal, moving ball with a rounded tip. The Dorcel Geisha Plug is an anal plug that includes smaller, inner “balls” that roll around the plug for pleasurable movement like a kegel exerciser. The Dorcel Geisha Plug FEELS like it’s made from silicone and plastic, but I can’t say for sure since neither the instructions, the product page, or the official Dorcel site specifically state the material. The head of the plug feels like it’s made from a plastic while the base and retention shaft feel like they’re made from plastic. This plug is three inches and it is about an inch in diameter at the widest point.

Packaging for the Dorcel Geisha Butt Plug

The packaging for this plug is pretty simplistic, but it really is not my favorite packaging. The packaging is mostly just a piece of cardboard with a plastic cut-out inserted where the plug is held. This packaging pretty much has to be destroyed to get the plug out, so it really doesn’t work for storage at all. The cardboard, which is recyclable, is hard to recycle after having to pull it apart so thoroughly to get at the plastic shell. There’s also an instruction manual included, but there isn’t too much to said about the plug.

The design for the plug is pretty simplistic. None of the plug is particularly squishy, though, so you should keep that in mind. The plug is just a basic plug, and it’s completely smooth to the touch. There’s no texture at all.

The main “claim to fame” that this plug has a small, inner ball inside the plug that “rolls around” inside the plug. Like vaginal exercisers, this is a similar type of sensation in this plug – which means that anyone can use it as opposed to the vulva-only sensation that vaginal balls provide (since they aren’t anal safe). I really like this concept, a lot, and I’d love to see more companies venturing into it as I can really imagine some fantastic and pleasurable anal toys coming out of it. The ball rotation doesn’t really make much noise, and it can barely be heard outside of a body, and it is completely inaudible when inserted.

The inner, rotating ball isn’t the most sensation-filled. It’s not bad, but it’s not going to be an orgasmic sensation by any means. It also can be a bit hard to feel in some ways. I almost feel like the ball isn’t quite “small enough” to be able to roll around and make enough movement to be truly felt like I feel it should be. It does make movement, especially with chores or jumping and such, but it’s not the most intense sensation currently. I think a heavier and smaller ball might have made more of a difference, but it CAN be felt at times – it’s just not the most intense. You won’t feel it while driving.

Inserting this Geisha Butt Plug does require a bit of anal experience. I wouldn’t say that you have to regularly be engaging in anal sex, but at the same time, the widest point of the plug can be a bit wide for beginners, so I definitely recommend that you have some sort of experience with anal play. Along with that, there isn’t too much of a “taper” on this plug, so you really don’t get to “slowly” work up to the largest point. It’s more of an “all-or-nothing” type of design, so having some sort of anal experience will help you be able to more easily take the full inch without an issue. With that said, though, most people with regular anal experience don’t have too much trouble with an inch of diameter, so you don’t have to be super-experienced.

Dorcel Geisha Butt Plug
The base

I must admit to not being too fond of the base. It’s a completely circular base, and it’s relatively small in size. I’m not concerned about it being “taken in” (though the base is only the EXACT same width of the plug itself, so if you’re afraid your muscles are strong enough, keep that in mind). However, the base is completely made of plastic, and it has no give to it at all. That wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t a circular base. This means that the base kinda pokes into the butt cheeks a bit and uncomfortably. It’s nothing too awful, but depending on your body fat and how wide your hips are, you might be annoyed by the base. I wish they had considered a slimmer and more oval-like base (like seems to be the standard for a lot of plugs) instead of this hard plastic, circular base.

Something to note is that there is a very noticable seam that runs along the Dorcel Geisha Plug. It’s extremely noticable to the eye, but honestly, during use, it really wasn’t felt or bothered with. As everyone’s sensitivity varies, though, and some people may really be bothered by seams, it seems worth mentioning. It’s visible on the plug (as the pictures show), and I can barely feel it with my fingers, but during use, it wasn’t noticed.

To clean this kegel butt plug, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. The base does have some seams on it, so you’ll want to make sure to do a good job cleaning out those creases while cleaning it. As I can’t 100% comment on what material it is, I’d consider it NOT sterilizable until I find information to the contrary. For that reason, if you want to share (and why share? Why not just buy a second one since this one is so affordable?), make sure to use it with a condom. As for lubricant, stick with water-based lubricant. And storage? It doesn’t seem to pick up any hair or lint, so it looks like you should be able to store this anal plug however you’d like. I recommend keeping it in some sort of storage bag, though, for optimal protection.

Overall, as long as you have a bit of experience, I definitely think the Dorcel Geisha Plug could be an interesting one. Especially with the internal rotating ball, this plug can give a different sensation than most average plugs. It can be a bit to “activate” that sensation, but considering the shape of this plug is similar to other plugs that DON’T have the inner ball, it seems easier to choose the inner ball than to forego it. If you think its flaws will be okay with you, the Dorcel Geisha Plug is worth looking into.
