“Dare…to Make Love with 2, 3, 4…or More” book is a book about group sex published by Hunter House Publications. It’s a small book – 7 inches tall and five inches wide. It’s written by Marc Dannam and translated by Yvonne K. Fulbright. (It was originally written in French.) The book is part of a larger series called “Dare…” which is a how-to series for different types of “fetish” activities like group sex, anal sex, bondage, and lots of other things. The book is pretty thin in thickness since it only has 118 pages which are divided into 8 chapters. The front of the book shows cute little anime-like people all tangled up in a giant orgy. There are anime-breasts, so the cover isn’t very public-friendly. Neither are all of the illustrations on the inside, so I’d avoid reading this in public if possible.
This book basically focuses on the idea of group sex. It’s supposed to be a how-to guide for group sex. It focuses on threesomes and foursomes though it does mention a bit about more-than-four. I was really surprised that this book seemed to focus on sex positions. I was hoping for more about the negotiation – or even just wear to go about finding partners for something like this. The vast majority of the book was about the sex positions for large group sex.
This book has a lot of great illustrations. In the positions chapter, there’s an illustration for one out of every three positions described. The text does a great job of describing the positions, but the illustrations themselves add a lot more that the text just couldn’t cover. The illustrations are nicely shaded and everything – it looks great. However, the illustrations are also nude with genitals and breasts almost always showing, so it isn’t something that you can really have shown in public.
Another great aspect of the book is the real-life experiences. Like the rest of the “Dare…” series, this book includes quite a few real life experiences from the author and other contributing folks. This allows you to really feel like having group sex is “normal” and will make you more comfortable with the idea of it. Plus, I just always like reading about what other people have done, so it makes it a really great, fun read for me.
Like I said before, the book does tend to focus on sex positions. It does have a “preparation” chapter at the beginning of the book that talks about how to go about having the discussion with your partner, how to keep them from getting upset, and how to go about finding the other parties, but it, for the most part, is very brief that just lays out the details as they are without going into any sort of detail. It’s short, but it does get the point across.
The rest of the book is structured by the type of relationship. There’s a chapter on threesomes, foursomes, then moresomes. Each one of those chapters is broken up further into the specific type of group – for example, for threesomes, there is MMF and FFM assuming all parties are heterosexual and FFM and MMF assuming all parties are bisexual. This allows you a good variety of sexual positions since the author sorted them as to whether or not the same-sex parties would be willing to play with one another or not. This makes it extremely easy to find a sex position that will work for you and your partners. The foursomes and “moresomes” chapter are presented in the same manner – although the “moresomes” chapter also includes a bit of information about how to make your home more “sexy” for a large orgy.
The author writes in an informative and humorous manner. It isn’t written quite towards a complete sexual newbie, but it is writter towards someone who does have interest in having large group sex. It at least assumes that you know what large group sex is, but for the most part, it does explain a lot of the terms. It’s a relatively short read – just took me a little over an hour to read through the entire book. Along with that, I did learn quite a bit about sex positions though I can’t honestly say I learned much about anything else relating to group sex. It was definitely informative though.
I’d recommend this book for people who are interested in group sex but want a bit of inspiration to actually go through with it. It will recommend ways to speak to your partner and will give you some positions to get into during – so you don’t feel awkward attempting to position your bodies. It’s put forth in an easy-to-understand manner that makes it fun to read, and if you have just an hour of your time, you can really read through the entire book. Thanks to Hunter House for sending me this book for review, and you can pick your own copy of “Dare…To Make Love With 2, 3, 4…Or More“.
