A set of three simple (yet effective) cock rings, the Cloud 9 Cock Ring Combo are TPR, phthalate-free rings designed for blood restriction into the penis. Each ring has a rested inner diameter of 0.75″ with a fully texture-free designed that’s rounded. They really just look like little, unfluffy donuts. All three rings are exactly the same (except for the color).

I generally recommend silicone for, well, every sex toy imaginable, but there are a couple of exceptions to that rule. One, being male masturbation sleeves. (Honestly, we haven’t quite mastered silicone to the point where it’s soft and supple enough for what most people want).

The other, of course, being cock rings. If you’re familiar with cock rings, using silicone can work a-okay. Silicone cock rings just have a lot more rigidity to them, and they tend to be *really* restrictive, so you really need to know your measurements and your reactions to cock rings before you start playing with the big (restrictive) boys like that. Silicone can also be harder to stretch out (and unstretch) which gets uncomfortable if you’re not used to moving toys around the dick area.

So, in the world of couple’s pleasure rings, non-silicone tends to be my recommendation for most beginner-level folks – ourselves included at the moment. After a penile injury, we’re pretty much leaning very, very far away from anything with rigidity that goes on the dick. So, the TPR material of the Cloud 9 Cock Ring Combo works a-okay for us.

Entirely smooth to the touch, these three rings are entirely identical – except in color. So when one goes missing (and you know it’s gonna be that clear one), you have two back-ups. There is no texture on these rings, and they’re definitely designed to restrict bloodflow to the penis – less so for any partner’s pleasure. They’re just smooth and restrictive, and that’s all they’re trying to be. The TPR material has zero smell, feels really pleasant (and smooth) on the hands, and doesn’t have a taste to it either (if you’re going for oral sex use).

Like I mentioned before, putting on these TPR rings is noticeably easier than putting on a lot of silicone cock rings. I’d still recommend it as a two-handed procedure (if only to avoid tugging on any pubic hair you have in the area), but the ring stretches out without too much pressure. It’s stretchy enough that you could *probably* get away with one-handed application except for the circular-design of the texture of the ring means that it, literally, will roll off your fingers if you attempt it. Hilarious on fingers as it flings across the living room floor – painful when it’s partially wrapped around a penis and you get a rubber-band-effect.

With the stretchiness of the rings, you can get away with shaft-only or shaft-and-balls wearing of this cock ring – whichever works best for what you have in mind. We found, with his decently-average penis, that shaft-and-testicles was too tight for him to be comfortable, but he enjoyed the noticeable tightness of shaft-only. We’re still working our way up on the longevity scale, but it’s been comfortable for slightly over 30 minutes at this point – and makes a noticeable difference on the hardness of the erection. (Smaller shafts may find that the rings feel less snug.)

As I mentioned above, the TPR cock ring material does tend to grip hair pretty “nicely”. It rolls on skin decently for easy adjustments without tugging on skin, but it does tend to tug on hair – especially if you have long pubic hair. Trimming pubic hair is always a standard suggestion for people who love cock rings, but a light slathering of lubricant on the base of the penis (near where you plan on wearing the cock ring) can help tremendously with reducing the tugging from this TPR cock ring.

With cock rings like these, I generally worry about durability. I think you’ll have these around for awhile. While the material is very stretchy, the rings are also decently thick. While this stretches out a bit when near its limits, it doesn’t get anywhere near the concerning level of tearing unless you’re taking the stretching to an extreme. Just treat the cock ring like it’s designed to go around a cock, and these little, affordable cock rings should last a decent while. Not forever, as I’m sure the TPR will get small microtears over time, but well past the value you should expect from affordable, introductory rings.

Does it do its job? Yep! Pretty much perfectly, really. You’ll want to pay attention to the 0.75″ diameter measurement (as that’s where the cock ring will want to come back “to rest” for restriction purposes, so if you’re 2.25″ in diameter, this might be too tight of a fit). But as long as you’re in the “average width” world of penises, these cock rings will noticeably restrict your erection and provide a harder erection. Use it on just the shaft for a looser fit, or if you want, place it around the base of the shaft and testicles for a much tighter fit. Observe standard cock ring rules (of course), and make sure to remove the ring if anything feels painful. Generally, fifteen minutes is a good rule of thumb for wear when you’re brand new to cock rings.

As you’d expect, these cock rings don’t do much for a partner. They’re just there to restrict blood into the penis – which they do wonderfully. The purely-circular design of the ring allows them to roll really nicely along the shaft if you want to “scoot” it into place similar to unrolling a condom. I would, however, only recommend that if you don’t have pubic hair. Like I said, this grips pubic hair, so be careful with adjusting it if you have hair it’s going to catch.

As this cock ring is entirely smooth, it cleans up really easily and really quickly. It is worth noting that the TPR material tends to pick up dust and lint from, well, anywhere. If you want to make a visual (and sexual) statement with a fully-clean, spotless cock ring, I’d recommend giving it a quick rinse in water before using it. For regular cleaning, warm water and a mild soap work a-okay. Just make sure to use your fingers to clean inside the ring itself as well as along the outer-sides of the ring. Or just give it a good swish within soapy water. Honestly, taking care of it is pretty much a breeze.

The Cloud 9 Cockring Combo couple’s rings are packaged in a plastic blister pack. It’s very simple, but it’ll get the rings to you safely. It can be used for longer-term storage of the rings (honestly, I prefer keeping my cock rings in their original blister pack packaging because the little things are so darn easy to lose). You just have to pop the rings right back into their plastic spot before sealing up the packaging.

Overall, the Cloud 9 Cock Ring Combo kit is a good set of three rings if you’re looking to start exploring with cock rings. The rings are affordable, simple to use, and do exactly what you want to do: get a firmer erection with minimal hassle. The rings come on and off pretty easily, can be used in two different spots, and are odorless and tasteless. I have no problems recommending these to anyone who wants a basic cock ring to experience a difference in their erection. Thanks to Cloud9 for sending along these stretchy cock rings for my Cloud9 Cockring Combo review.
