The Bliss Rechargeable Massager, available from Adam & Eve adult toys, is a small clitoral vibrator made of plastic and silicone. Rechargeable and 10-speed, this small toy is about two inches wide and four inches long. Along with being water-resistant, this little vibrator is designed with ergonomics in mind to make handling and gripping this small toy simple to do.
The packaging for this massager is pretty thorough. It comes in a black/pink color combination box, and in this box, there’s a slipcover. This slipcover can be removed, and the inner box includes the toy. There’s a small foam tray where the Bliss vibrator rests, and inside the packaging, there’s also an instruction book and the charger. The box could work for storage, but as it’s much, much larger than the vibrator, it may not be optimal for storage. Along with that, I’m a bit sad to see this much attention put into packaging – but the vibrator does include any storage bag or anything. I would have rathered a storage bag than the multiple layers of packaging.
The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the package was how small it was! It’s almost like pictures make it look bigger than it is. It’s only about 1/2 inch longer than my pointer finger. It’s slightly smaller and slightly shorter than most of the other “vulva vibrators” out there that rests along the vulva for pleasure. This doesn’t really mean it’s “bad”, but it was really surprising to notice. So if you have a particular preference on how much area this little vibrator will cover, make sure to check out the exact measurements to make sure it will cover what you want it to.
Aside from the size, the Bliss vibrator is a pretty simple toy. All of the black parts are made from plastic while the purple parts are silicone. The base of the vibrator is wider to make it easier to hold while the tip is narrower to nestle easily into smaller areas. Along with that, the tip of the vibrator includes a silicone textured area that has small circles around it. The control panel is on the top side of the vibrator, and along with a regular control panel, this side also has a LED strip that shows off lights during use of the toy depending on the mode that you use.
This little vibrator is rechargeable as well. The charging port is at the base of the vibrator. The charger slips really easily into the port, and then it plugs into a wall electric socket to charge the vibrator. The vibrator will last a little over 2 hours on a single charge.
The controls on the Bliss vibrator are unique as well. There’s three buttons. There’s a pattern button, an up button, and a down button. In order to control the steady vibrations or turn the vibrator on/off, you use the up and down buttons. If you want to play with the patterns, when the vibrator is on, you hit the pattern button, and then the up and down buttons will scroll through the various patterns. The Bliss vibrator has 4 steady vibration settings and 6 patterns. The buttons are very easy to press, and they make a satisfying “click” when the setting has been changed. It’s all-around a very nice and simple control system that I’m really fond of.
The neat thing about operating the Bliss vibrator is the cool LED light that lights up on the body of the vibrator. This LED light glows steady for the four steady vibration settings, and it changes and moves for the patterned settings. The light really isn’t distracting at all (and depending how you hold the vibrator for solo use, your hand will probably cover the lights), but if you have a partner using the vibrator on you, it’s a huge help to be able to visually see exactly what setting the toy is on. I definitely think this was a good addition.
As for the vibrations, they are just moderate. However, they are also extremely buzzy. This is definitely something to keep in mind. They are very surface vibration-type, and they really don’t feel that intense, and after awhile, they start to numb more than pleasure. Personally, this was nowhere near enough for orgasm and I found the vibrations more annoying than pleasurable. The vibrations can definitely be heard in the same room, but they could be disguised in the same room if very loud music/movie was playing. However, I sincerely doubt it could be heard through a closed door in most places.
The design and shape of the vibrator works well, though. The vibrator’s size is so easy to hold, and with the purple silicone grips that are added, the vibrator doesn’t really slip out of my hands, either. The pinpoint tip fits really nicely against the body, and the buttons are easy to reach and hold – but I didn’t press them accidentally either. I have no complaints about the design, and I think they did well with it.
To clean this vibrator, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. As this vibrator is only water-resistant, take special care not to submerge the vibrator in any way. It’s pretty easy to clean aside from that, though. It’s compatible with water-based lubricant, and despite having a silicone area, the silicone really doesn’t pick up any hair or lint, so it tends to stay pretty clean no matter where you store it.
Overall, the Bliss vibrator has a fantastic design and is easy to use. I’d love to recommend it – if the vibrations were stronger and better. As it stands, while the vibrator is so simple to use, the vibrations make me never want to use it. And as a vibrator, it needs good vibrations. If you prefer more surface-type vibrations or just like lighter vibrations, though, the Bliss vibrator could be fantastic for you.
