The Satin Elbow Length Gloves are manufactured by Leg Avenue and sold by SinCity Playwear. The gloves themselves are available in both black and red satin, and the gloves are about fifteen inches long from the longest finger to the base of the gloves. The gloves have a softer finish for a slight sheen that looks very sexy in the right lighting.
The gloves are made from 90% Nylon with 10% Spandex. They do feel very soft and sensual to wear without the high price tag.
The gloves only come in a “One Size Fits Most” size.
Even if you have relatively short arms, these gloves will probably not make it to your elbows. Depending on how long your arms are, they will probably make it 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up your arms. Again, the measurement of the gloves is 15 inches from tip of a finger to the opening for the hand, so measure on your arm if elbow-touching gloves are vital to your outfit. Regardless of where it hits, though, it still looks very sexy and doesn’t seem out of place.
Does the “One size fits most” size seem to be accurate? Yes, it does. If you have thicker arms, the gloves might be a bit snug, but my plus-size self and my skinny boyfriend’s self can both easily slip on these gloves. If you are a plus-sized person, though, you’ll stretch out the gloves (to accommodate your size), so keep this in mind if you plan on sharing the gloves with a partner.
The gloves are just downright soft too! The material of the gloves will feel very sensual on your skin – and the skin of anyone else you touch. While the inside is not nearly as soft and sensual as the outside of the gloves, the inside is still very comfortable.
The outside of the gloves is my favorite. It glides against the skin really softly, and honestly, to me, it feels a bit like a freshly shaved leg that has been lotioned up – and even softer. It feels soft and sensual, so you’re looking at a good accessory for foreplay or handjobs.
Personally, I think the gloves really can add that “sexy” touch to a regular lingerie outfit. They’re an especially erotic touch if you have a full-black outfit without anything on your arms.
These can work for fetish uses too. If you are someone that enjoys sleeping in fine, silky materials, the gloves definitely satisfy that urge.
A nice pair of satin gloves is pretty much a “must have” for most burlesque routines, too – and it can make for an erotic addition to a lapdance. They slide really smoothly along the arm for removal (or simply playing with them during a routine). Plus, you can easily pull each finger away, slowly, to look like a striptease.
Cleaning these gloves can be a bit of a pain if you’d like to extend their lifespan. The instructions state to hand wash these gloves and drip-dry them clean. If you’d rather go for convenience (and possibly shorten the life of your gloves), you can toss them in the washing machine on a gentle wash inside a lingerie bag. Don’t say I didn’t warn you though.
Overall, I like the Satin Elbow-Length Gloves. While they won’t be “elbow length” for most people, they are very, very soft and feel very sensual against your own skin (and your partner’s skin!) without a high price tag. They are versatile (especially the black color), and they can be worn with a variety of outfits and aren’t too difficult to slip off.
