“Strip Tease” is a CD full of 12 songs intended for strip tease dancing. All of the songs are re-recorded and are not sung by the original artists. The CD is a mixture of older strip songs and newer pop and rock songs intended for strip dancing. This is a one-disk CD that is playable in anything that has a CD drive. You’d also be able to download the songs to your computer off of the disk to place on an MP3 player or other device as well.
The main draw of this CD instead of purchasing the songs one-by-one is just to have the full disk available of songs that will play one after another. I’m almost leaning towards the fact that CDs like this might be out-of-date anymore because of the ability to download one song at a time and our MP3 players, but at the same time, if you are having a hard time coming up with a good mix of songs to attempt to do a striptease to, this CD can come in handy because it already has chosen the songs for you; you’ll just need to figure out a routine to go with the songs.
I’m not sure if I agree with the song choices that this CD has to offer for striptease dances though. Some of them I definitely agree with such as “I’m a Slave 4 U” or “Don’t Cha”; those are two of the sexiest songs I can think of. Others, however, such as “Are you Gonna be My Girl” or “Cherry Pie” just don’t strike me as sexy songs. They don’t strike me as songs that I’d be comfortable doing a striptease to either. I do feel like the creators of the CD did a good job of including both “new school” and “old school”, but at the same time, I just wasn’t a fan of about half of the songs that were included for stripping.
All of the songs are not by the original artist. All of these songs have been re-recorded by a mix-tape artist called Eclipse. This means that the songs are not the original copies of the song, and instead, are re-done by a different artist. This would be no problem for the most part, but unfortunately, the guy’s vocals are sometimes not the best. In a couple songs, in a couple spots, he comes in a bit late or a bit early which is really noticable to me. It may not be so noticable to other people. Honestly, it reminds me a bit of an adult version of those Kids Bop CDs. The renditions aren’t horribly done, but they aren’t amazing either. The musical portion of the renditions aren’t bad, but the vocals are usually what make or break the specific song.
Here’s a list of the songs that are on the CD as well as the original artist:
1. “Cherry Pie” – Warrant
2. “Pour Some Sugar On Me” – Def Leppard
3. “Rump Shaker” – Wreckx’N Effect
4. “Beep” – Pussycat Dolls
5. “Milkshake” – Kelis
6. “I’m a Slave 4 U” – Britney Spears
7. “Check On It” – Beyonce Knowles
8. “Hot In Herre” – Nelly
9. “My Humps” – Black Eyed Peas
10. “Don’t Cha” – Pussycat Dolls
11. “Are You Gonna Be My Girl?” – Jet
12. “All For You” – Janet Jackson (I think)
I’m not amazed by the CD, but it’s not a horrible CD either. I’m not fond of all of the music, but I do like the song choices that the CD gave; if you are unsure about what types of music could be included in a striptease, it gives you a lot of inspiration that you could do your dance to or just inspiration to pick your own songs. If you don’t like the order, you can download the CD and rearrange them on your MP3 player as well. Overall, while it’s not amazing, it’s not horrible either.
