If using organic lubricant is on your to-do list, you’re going to love Good Clean Love’s Cinnamon Vanilla lubricant. A water-based lubricant, Good Clean Love is compatible with all types of sex toy materials and can be safely used for any type of sexual activity (and on any body part) and is entirely safe for use with any type of safer sex barriers (including condoms). The lubricant is 95% organic and is designed for anyone – but especially anyone with sensitive skin.
I’ve already fallen in love with the Good Clean Love Almost Naked lubricant (see my Good Clean Love Almost Naked lubricant review). That’s Good Clean Love’s non-flavored variety. I’ve already praised that lubricant for being one of the best and long-lasting organic, water-based lubricants. It’s actually become a favorite of mine, and I find myself using it pretty regularly. I was hoping that the Cinnamon and Vanilla would follow in its footsteps.
When it comes to use, I don’t think it’s quite as good as their Almost Naked lubricant. I’m not sure if it’s just in my mind or what, but the lubricant doesn’t seem to stay as slick for as long as their original version does. It seems to require a lot more regular reapplications; depending on the sex act, it might require 3 or 4 reapplications per session. It doesn’t seem to have much of a scent during use (more about that below), but it doesn’t smell bad. The lubricant has more of a “gel” consistency, so it doesn’t get all runny; it tends to stay (at least for a little bit) where you apply it. This helps me to avoid making a mess all over the bedding.
The thing that I notice most about this lubricant is the after-scent. I certainly don’t mind the after-sex smell, but I’m finding that I can actually smell the vanilla scent on my skin after sex if I don’t jump into the shower and use soap to clean up afterwards. It’s not overpowering at all – it’s just noticeable. I’ve never had a lubricant that actually left a nice and airy scent after use. It’s definitely different.
As for taste, I honestly don’t taste much of the vanilla or cinnamon in the taste. It’s not my favorite thing to taste either, but I’ve tasted worse lubricants. I’ll continue to enjoy the vanilla and cinnamon flavoring for the after-scent and not so much for the tasting.
Concerned about the ingredients? As mentioned, this lubricant is mostly organic. The ingredients are: Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Xanthan Gum, Agar, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Lactate, Lactic Acid, Natural Flavors.
When it comes to clean-up, this lubricant seems just as easy as most water-based lubricants to clean up. For the most part, it seems to absorb into the skin over time. If you want to wipe it up, it wipes up just fine after sex with toilet paper or towels. If you let it be, however, it doesn’t get sticky or gooey; it will just seem to go away after awhile. Not having to worry about tons of clean-up is my favorite type of clean-up!
Overall, I enjoy the Cinnamon Vanilla Organic Lubricant from Good Clean Love, but I prefer their original Almost Naked lubricant instead. This seems like a good alternative if the after-scent is important to me, but for my own uses, I’d rather stick to their Almost Naked variety. Thanks to Good Clean Love for providing this organic sexual lubricant for my Good Clean Love Cinnamon Vanilla Organic Lubricant review.
