Available in sizes Small through 2XL, the Vintage Lace Nightie brings together a soft, cuddly nightie material with the sensuality of lace. This nightgown is made form 100% polyester, and it’s made in the USA. The nightie has a soft, satin-like underlayer with the soft lace that runs on top of it. Along with this, it has a pink satin tie underneath the bust to help provide a more feminine figure.
This piece of crossdressing lingerie is possibly one of the cuter pieces that I’ve seen for guys. I really LOVE the look of this. It just has this cute, lolita-esque feeling to it that makes for a sexy and somewhat-innocent-looking nightie that is stunning when worn. The elastic near the arms helps show off the shoulders and collarbones which looks amazing while the elastic also allows for broader-shouldered guys to wear this. Along with this, to show off the bustline (especially if you’re wearing a bra under this), there’s a satin pink bow that ties pretty nicely around the mid-chest. The rest of the gown hangs down gently and frames the body nicely.
When it comes to sizing, the sizing seems about right and on-par for XDress items. Keep in mind that the size chart IS going to be very different than any female clothes you regularly order since these items of male dresses were designed specifically for male frames. So if you normally order up a size because of big shoulders, you won’t need to do that here. My partner normally wears a size 5/7 in women’s clothing, and he has a size Medium for this Vintage Lace Nightie. It fits about perfectly – if anything, because the dress has some stretch to it, we probably could have gone down a size to the size Small. I was used to ordering up a size because of shoulders, so a Small probably would fit just fine in this case.
I am so impressed by how comfortable and soft the Vintage Lace Nightie is! My partner says that it’s one of the more comfortable nighties that he owns. The material is super, super soft against the skin, and you really don’t feel the lace rubbing against you. As the person sleeping with my partner, I can tell you that the lace doesn’t really bother me either. The lace is not the scratchy, cheap type of lace. Instead, it’s soft and not that harsh against the skin. I do have to be careful to avoid ripping or damaging it, but it’s definitely not painful. My partner also adds that the elastic is comfortably tight, but not so tight that you feel like it’s digging in or causing pain. He says it leaves a light mark on his skin in the morning if he wears the nightie overnight, but the mark goes away within five minutes, so it’s definitely not damaging or painful.
The nightie is actually perfect for sexual things along with sleeping as well. If you want a nightie that will multi-task like that, this piece of crossdressing lingerie works really well for that. Depending on your height, the nightie is going to hit right underneath the butt, so it does offer some coverage, but it’s also short enough to be tantalizing and easy to get out of the way for sexual fun as well.
When it comes to accessorizing and making outfits, I’d really say that the Vintage Lace Crossdresser Nightie is best left alone. It’s a pretty big statement piece on its own, and it really is designed to look like a nightdress, and most people don’t accessorize their nightgowns, so you’d be best by just leaving this Vintage Lace Nightie as a statement piece on its own. The sexuality in the nightgown is that you get a “sneak peek” of someone’s usual sleeping routine, but it happens to be sexy in itself. You really don’t need to go nuts with the accessories on this one.
According to the tag, this lace nightie should be hand or machine washed, but you should definitely be gentle. As for what we’ve tried, putting the Vintage Lace Nightie in a lingerie bag before washing seems to keep this nightie looking as good as new, so if you want to machine wash, I’d definitely recommend that. To keep it looking really nice, I recommend storing it hanging on a hanger as well.
Overall, the Vintage Lace Nightie is high-quality, looks absolutely adorable and very sexy, and has elastic in the perfect spots for the male body. It’s so comfortable, and it’s absolutely perfect for sleeping in, too. The only downside is that, since it’s made out of lace, you do have to be careful to avoid harming or ripping the lace during play or sleep. Otherwise, it’s perfect, really. Just perfect.
