UPDATE JANUARY 2024: This rabbit vibrator is no longer in production. Instead, OhMiBod now offers the Fuse with upgraded features and online functionality. This review remains for anyone who is curious about it. The Happiness and Joy vibrator is another one of the newest silicone sex toys to come to the Bedroom Kandi line. A rabbit vibrator, the Happiness and Joy vibrator is a music-activated vibrator that follows the same design as the Freestyle W in the OhMiBod line. It’s made from silicone, and it’s rechargeable as well. The transmitter for the music mode does require two AAA batteries though. The rabbit vibrator is about nine inches long with a diameter of slightly over an inch. This music sex toy vibrates, but the shaft of this dual-stimulation sex toy does not rotate, so that’s something to keep in mind. (OhMiBod should totally make a rotating-shaft rabbit vibe that rotates to music; it’d be amazing.)

The packaging for the Bedroom Kandi Happiness and Joy vibrator looks very sleek and simple. It proudly displays the toy on the backside of the packaging, and inside the packaging itself, you can pull out the cardboard box that holds the vibrator. Unlike other Bedroom Kandi toys, this sex toy’s tray seems to be made from plastic, and it looks much nicer and cleaner than other Bedroom Kandi packaging. The box is pretty discreet, and it can be used for storage of the sex toy, and if you don’t like that, it also includes a satin storage bag that can be used for storage as well.

The Happiness & Joy rabbit vibrator has a pretty basic design, but it’s certainly pretty. The pink portion of the vibrator is all silicone while the black portion of the sex toy is plastic. The controls and the charging port are located on the black plastic portion, and the silicone itself is relatively draggy, so you do want to use a good amount of external lubricant for this sex toy. The clitoral attachment, while firm, does have some flexibility to it, so it may be difficult to get the amount of pressure you need – however, it does clamp down, so it’s not like it’s just flopping around. It’s only if you need REALLY hard pressure will the clitoral portion bother you – I love pressure, and the clitoral portion worked pretty well, pressure-wise, for me.

The rabbit vibrator is rechargeable. It charges via the base of the vibrator which is normally covered by a silicone cover when the silicone rabbit vibrator isn’t charging. This sex toy is very easy to plug in to charge, and it lasts about three hours on a single charge (which takes less than two hours). The instructions say not to leave the vibrator on the charger for longer than 24 hours though, and if you are a non-United States citizen, the Happiness and Joy vibrator also comes with different adapters for the plug-in.

The amazing thing about the Happiness and Joy rabbit vibrator is the fact that it’s an OhMiBod product, so it actually can be attached to any music device to vibrate to the rhythm of the music. It can be connected to anything that has an output headphone jack such as a computer, a gaming system, a television, a portable DVD player, your cell phone, an MP3 player, and anything else. It leaves a lot of options open for you.

Using the music-activated aspect of this sex toy is pretty simple. The vibrator itself communicates wirelessly to the adapter for the toy, so you don’t need to plug anything into the rabbit vibrator. Instead, you plug your music device (MP3 player or whatnot) into the adapter as well as your headphones into the adapter, and you’ll be good to go. There’s a sensitivity control on the adapter itself as well as the volume of the sound will make a difference also. You have to mess with the sensitivity control as well as the volume of the music to find that happy “medium” where the vibrator responds really nicely to the vibration of the music.

When it comes to the music, the Happiness and Joy sex toy does pretty well. Like all OhMiBod toys, you’ll have to adjust the sensitivity to make it perfect, but for the most part, it does a good job of picking up on some of the sounds to vibrate to the music while not continually vibrating. Music that has an obvious base (without too much other intense sounds) works best. Metal doesn’t seem to work the best (nor does Classical), but Dubstep or Rock music seems to work pretty well.

The music rabbit vibrator with the attachment

The Happiness and Joy vibrator can be controlled pretty easily. There is a five-sided little “flower” along the base of the vibrator. There is a music button as well as an off button and a vibration-manual button. To use the music rabbit vibrator, you just have to click on the music button (if you want to use music) or the vibration button (if you want to control the vibrations yourself).

Once you do that, the vibration-manual button will be controlled by the up arrow and down arrow on the control panel while the music portion will vibrate according to the music. There is also a dedicated “off” button in case you need to turn off your sex toy in a hurry.

The buttons of the “flower” can be a bit hard to press down which works just fine depending on your usage. If you mostly use this vibrator for music mode, the buttons being a bit hard just means that you won’t accidentally change the settings. If you like to move up and down in manual mode quite a bit, though, the buttons being a bit harder to push may annoy rather than help.

The control structure on the Happiness and Joy Vibrator

The Happiness & Joy vibrator doesn’t only operate on music. As I hinted at in the previous paragraph, the Bedroom Kandi rabbit vibrator also can operate on manual mode, so you don’t have to have music. With the manual mode, your vibrator will have seven different functions to go through. There are three steady vibrations as well as four different patterned functions.

As a note, OhMiBod also has Apple product apps that function with the OhMiBod as well. The vibrator will function with phone app when in the music mode.

The vibrations are on the moderate side. The vibrations do seem to be stronger in the shaft than they are in the clitoral portion. If you are more sensitive to vibrations, these vibrations work, but if you require powerhouse vibrations, the clitoral portion may not be enough for you for orgasm. They are moderate, though, and comparable to most vibrator’s vibrations. For the noise, when inserted, it’s pretty hard to hear in the same room, but if you’re using it externally, it’s very easy to hear in the same room. It probably can not be heard outside of a closed door though.

The packaging and all the accessories

For use, this rabbit vibrator works pretty well. The music function is really why I would prefer this vibrator over any other – I like the Happiness and Joy vibrator, but without the music function, it wouldn’t be nearly as good. The internal ridges are really pleasurable for insertion, and I like the length of the shaft. The internal vibrations are nice and strong, and they can easily be felt throughout the shaft of the toy. The toy works really well with the music mode, and if you love songs (or find some of them sexual in nature), the Happiness and Joy vibrator helps bring that to “life”.

The only big downside is the clitoral portion to me. The vibrations in the clitoral arm don’t seem to be strong enough for orgasm for my own use, so you have to add a stronger toy to this one. Maybe OhMiBod will plan out some insertable-shaped vibrators for use like this as the sensation of the vibrations differing between internal and external is really pleasurable.

To clean this silicone rabbit vibrator, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. Be careful when cleaning this sex toy because it is not waterproof – it’s only splashproof, so you wouldn’t want to get water inside the body of the sex toy. For lubricant, you can only use water-based lubricant with this sex toy as silicone-based lubricant could harm the surface of the silicone. For storage, you can easily keep it in the box, or if you prefer, it comes with a satin pouch which will store your vibrator pretty nicely as well.

Overall, the Happiness and Joy vibrator is virtually the same sex toy as the OhMiBod Freestyle W – but I love the design much, much more. It has some good vibrations that vibrate well to the music, but the rabbit sex toy design may not work for all bodies. If it works for yours, though, the vibrations are pretty good, and the vibrations and design of the toy work really well when partnered with the music mode of the vibrations. Thanks to Babeland Sex Toys (a woman-friendly sex toy store) for sending this rabbit vibrator for my Happiness and Joy vibrator review.
