I absolutely love all things bondage, and this is nothing different. When Twisted-Miss (A great sex toy store) offered to send me this bondage set, I was very happy to help them out.
The Soft Bondage Kit is a four-piece cuff set that includes two wrist cuffs and two ankle cuffs. The cuffs themselves are made of neoprene and can be fastened onto a person because of the velcro. From there, each cuff is attached to a large strand of nylon to connect it to whatever you want it to connect to. At the end of each strand of nylon, they put a loop to allow you to attach it to bedposts or anything you need. (Think of a dog leash.)
The cuffs are very flexible when it comes to sizes because of the velcro that attaches them. Because of the large amount of velcro, I honestly can’t figure out a single person’s wrists (that I’ve ever seen) that wouldn’t fit into these cuffs. They go really small as well, but then you’ll have an extra strand of velcro hanging off of it.
The nylon strands seem very firmly attached to the neoprene bondage cuffs. Even with some pulling, the cuffs don’t appear to want to pull of of the nylon strand which is good and means they appear to be pretty durable. The nylon strands are about two feet long as well, and the loop appears to be sewn in well to hold lots of weight. The loop would easily fit any-sized bed post and really is about the same size as a standard dog-walking loop.
The boyfriend says that the cuffs are pretty comfortable to wear. Because they are neoprene, he says they’re actually a little more comfortable to wear than most leather. However, because they are only attached by velcro, they’re also very easy to get out of – which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you want to look at it.
Although the nylon strands include little loops at the end of each strand, you can still use the nylon strands without the loops. The nylon strands will actually tie together to allow you to just tie them to each other or to tie them the legs of furniture or whatever you’d like. We tried tying them to the legs of the futon, and it worked pretty well. Since we don’t have any posts on our bed, it made much more sense to do it this way.
Something else that I enjoy is the fact that the nylon strand actually comes away at a ninety degree angle from the cuff. This actually allows for the captive person to be able to hold onto the strand of nylon. While this may be a minor point for some people, if you tend to play rough/hard, it actually helps alleviate and allow for someone to handle more pain if they can grasp onto something. It’s the same aspect where grabbing the bedsheets seems to make pleasure more controllable.
Overall, I’d recommend this soft bondage kit for beginners who are looking for a great, inexpensive way to enjoy their first bondage experience. The cuffs allow for freedom which makes it more comfortable for a first bondage experience.
