Crossdressing Tutu Skirt Review

Crossdressing Tutu Skirt
Showing the Tutu skirt from the front

The Tutu Skirt by Xdress is a cute ballerina-like petticoat made from nylon and tulle. It comes in regular crossdressing lingerie sizes as well as plus-size crossdresser lingerie sizes. It includes five rows of tulle netting, and the tutu skirt does a great job of sticking out instead of flattening down like other petticoats may tend to do.

First off, I definitely want to say that I stand behind everything XDress stands for. They place their beautiful lingerie and panties on male models to display how they would actually look on a male – as the site is created for crossdressers and other guys who enjoy wearing lingerie. They have a huge selection of crossdressing lingerie including panties, lingerie, fantasy outfits, and more.

The Tutu Skirt fits pretty true-to-size. We have the medium, and it fits him perfectly. Medium is intended for waist sizes from 32″ to 34″. If in doubt, order down a size. The Tutu Skirt does have stretch to it, but it doesn’t really have a way to make it “tighter”, so if in doubt, go down. With the stretch, though, if you are a bit larger or end up gaining weight, the Tutu Skirt still fits okay.

This piece of crossdresser lingerie has a good design to it too. Unlike those petticoats that tend to “flop” more than they hold or fluff, the Tutu Skirt actually does a fantastic job of being fluffy. It sticks out at almost a 90 degree angle, but you can flatten it down if you want. For the most part, the Tutu Skirt will only be covering the underwear you’re wearing – and barely that, so keep that in mind if you want to wear it outside or to a kink club. It looks amazingly sexy to have such “short” coverage (and it really elongates the legs), but for outside wear, you’ll want to pair it with something.

The Tutu Skirt is not made out of the most soft material out there. As anyone who has ever touched tulle will know, tulle is not baby soft. However, as the petticoat does a great of sticking out at a good angle, you won’t feel much of the tulle on your skin. You’ll only feel the nylon waistband around your waist, and that nylon feels plenty-enough soft for very comfortable wear.

To be honest, this is not one of those men’s lingerie pieces that you can wear anywhere. The skirt is definitely too short, on its own, for outside wear. It also doesn’t match a ton of other lingerie pieces. However, with a corset (especially dark, jewel-colored one), the black Tutu Skirt goes amazingly. There’s something about the tightness of a corset mixed with the cute tutu aspect of this skirt that goes fantastically – and it does a great job of framing and showing off legs. If you are more body-conscious of your legs, you can easily pair this with a cute pair of leggings or hose to help disguise your legs while still showing off the cute tutu skirt.

To clean this, I definitely recommend handwashing. It won’t hold up well with a washer or dryer. If possible, try to keep stains off of it all-together, but such is the “downside” of lingerie is that it usually tends to create “stains”. For storage, try to avoid stretching it out too much as elastic can stay “stretched” if stretched out for long periods of time.

Overall, if you want a cute petticoat that looks slightly like a ballerina tutu – and feels just as frilly and girly, I definitely recommend the Tutu skirt. It holds up pretty well, looks amazing with corsets, and while it isn’t the softest material, you don’t feel the material up against your skin. Plus, it’s downright adorable! Thanks to Xdress for providing this crossdressing lingerie for my Tutu Skirt review!
