Tantus Silicone Prostate Health Anal Toy Review

Tantus Silicone Prostate Health Anal Toy
Showing the toy and bullet next to each other

The Tantus Silicone Prostate Health toy is a silicone anal toy sold by FunWares. The intended use of this anal toy is for prostate pleasure. The toy is about four inches long and about an inch at the widest point. It’s made of silicone, and it includes a bullet hole at the base.

The packaging is typical of all Tantus packaging. It comes in a plastic box that shows off the toy on the inside. The plastic is a bit flimsy, so it won’t hold up to items being placed on top of it. As the packaging is also much bigger than the toy itself, I wouldn’t recommend keeping the packaging around for storage. The packaging also holds the bullet vibrator that comes with the toy.

The ridges at the base of the anal toy

The Tantus Silicone Prostate Health sex toy has an interesting shape. At the base, there are a couple ridges, and the base is really thick. At the bottom of the shaft, there are some other ridges, but for most people, I don’t think you’ll really be taking too much of those ridges internally as they’re so close to the base. At the top, there’s an obvious prostate curve to be able to provide prostate pleasure while using this anal toy. The entire toy is made of silicone, and it’s the nice kind of silicone! It isn’t sticky or tacky at all, and while it isn’t silky, it certainly is much more smooth than a lot of Tantus silicone. This helps it go in more easily, and it doesn’t require nearly as much lubricant as some other toys do. As you are using it anally, though, please make sure to cover it in lubricant for a more pleasurable experience.

The Tantus Silicone Prostate Health sex toy also includes a bullet vibrator. This vibrator comes straight with batteries, and it can be unwrapped and used right after getting it. The bullet takes watch batteries, and it can be removed from the base of the toy or inserted into the base of the toy for vibrations. I would recommend making sure to place a drop of lubricant in the bullet hole before inserting the bullet to be able to remove the bullet more easily afterward. The bullet doesn’t provide very strong vibrations, but it will add a slight vibration to the toy. Don’t expect it to be orgasm-by-vibrations, but it will definitely add a little bit to your experience. With the bullet inserted, though, the toy doesn’t sit flat like it would without the bullet in it, so that’s something to consider.

During use, one of the best things is how the toy is shaped. The shape gradually gets larger as you go towards the base of the toy, and this will work in your favor. Why? Because as long as you have some sort of anal experience, you should be able to take this toy anally. It isn’t too large like some other prostate toys, and as long as you have a bit of anal experience, this toy could work out perfectly for you. The extreme curve of the toy towards the tip might be a bit difficult to insert for those who haven’t done much of anal play, but the small diameter definitely makes it beginner-friendly.

Plus, I don’t know about you, but the plastic toys rarely work well for us. We love the shapes of the Aneros toys, but the ungiving plastic can be a bit painful if it gets to places it shouldn’t be. With the Tantus Silicone Prostate Health, you have a prostate toy that isn’t made of plastic. As it doesn’t have the plastic, the silicone is much more flexible and conforms to your body much more comfortably. There’s no plastic base to poke at you uncomfortably, and the silicone material will warm up to your body temperature for the best fit as well.

The base is something that was slightly annoying though. The boyfriend says that he thinks the base should probably been made slightly smaller. He is a small-framed guy, so that may have something to do with it, but he mentions that the base just felt too large for anything aside from sitting on it. When he was sitting on it, he thought it was a good size, but when he would be on his side or any other position, he thought it wasn’t as comfortable as it could have been. A guy with a larger frame may not notice the base as much as he did though. On that note, if you’re laying on your side and trying to use it as a “traditional” prostate massager, the toy does tend to slide out. The best use for the Prostate Health anal toy does seem to be sitting on top of it so the toy can not slide out.

So does it hit the prostate? The boyfriend thinks it does. He says that it isn’t a constant-hit because the silicone moves with the body, but he says that it definitely produces some pleasurable sensations. It’s something that sitting on seems to work best, and for that use, it’s one of the only prostate massagers that you can comfortable “sit” on. Other prostate massager’s plastic bases will be too uncomfortable to rest your full weight on. He mentions that it does produce a slight filling feeling and that you definitely want to use lots of lubricant with it. He also states that he had a difficult time keeping the toy in unless his weight was on top of the toy as the toy does tend to slide out pretty easily. He says that it is worth sitting on top of, though, as the sensation is pleasurable, and it’s pretty easy to use.

Cleaning the Tantus Prostate Health is simple. You can boil the toy, as it’s silicone, for total sterilization, or you can just warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it normally. It should only be used with water-based lubricants, and it should be stored away from fuzzies as it does tend to pick up a bit of fuzzies when sitting out.

Overall, he likes the Tantus Prostate Health anal toy, but it does have some flaws. You’ll need to give it a helping hand to stay in, and the base is a bit wide for some positions, but once in, it is pleasurable and does a good job of conforming with your inner anatomy.
