UPDATE MARCH 2023: The Pink Candy Jaguar Cuffs now go by another name: the Pink Candy Cuffs.
The Pink Candy Jaguar Cuffs are a set of two pink and white wrist cuffs manufactured by ASLAN Leather. The cuffs are made from leather and include locking buckles. The cuffs are about a foot in length and about two inches in width. They include a D-ring for further bondage points and opportunities.
The Pink Candy Jaguar Cuffs is part of a larger set. Along with the cuffs, there is the Pink Candy Jaguar Collar, the Pink Candy Minx strap-on harness, and the Pink Candy Jag strap-on harness for pegging and strap-on sex. Each one matches the colors of these cuffs, so you can make a full kinky set out of them if you want!
The cuffs are really cute and well-made! The inner portion of the cuffs is all white leather while the outer portion is pink leather. The fastening straps are all white leather as well. Each one of the pieces is sewn together with great stitching, and it also includes rivets that hold the outer fastening strap firmly onto the cuffs themselves. There is a D-ring on the cuffs that is also held on by rivets, and the cuffs are not plushy at all. All of the pieces seem extremely well put together, and I have no doubt that these cuffs will last a very long time; they were obviously made with quality in mind, and they’re just so cute too!
The biggest downside about the cuffs is that are pretty stiff when you get them. We’ve been using them for a couple of weeks now, and they still are pretty stiff. Because they’re so stiff, it makes the cuffs a bit uncomfortable to wear and a bit difficult to fasten. Like all leather cuffs, I’m sure they’re going to get softened with use, but it is slightly frustrating to have the cuffs be so stiff open first receiving them. Also partnered with this is the inner material. The material has no plush or give at all which, partnered with the stiffness of the cuffs, can lead to the cuffs being a bit uncomfortable until you break them in. This is pretty average with leather, but I feel like these cuffs have more stiffness than usual. Until you wear them enough to soften the leather and break it in, the Pink Candy Jaguar Cuffs won’t be quite as comfortable as they could be. Don’t let that stop you from purchasing them, but do be aware that you’ll want to break them in and wear them to get the best fit out of them.
These cuffs are also locking bondage cuffs. In case you don’t know what that is, it’s when the buckle that makes the cuffs fasten also includes a little “loop”. If you have a small lock (the smallest size that you can find at a big box retailer usually works), then you can slip a lock into this loop, and you won’t be able to unfasten the cuffs. A lot of people find this inability to even get out of the cuffs to be a huge turn-on and it doesn’t provide many risks (short of someone asking you why you’re wearing the cuffs in an emergency), so I usually really like locking bondage cuffs.
The cuffs work well for rough play. They hold up to a lot of abuse! Each one of the cuffs does include a D-ring that holds on tight and can be used really well for tugging and pulling. Despite our best efforts to try and break free or break the cuffs (scientific testing, I say!), the cuffs held up amazingly, and they did not give. Once you have someone captive in these, you can play as roughly as you’d like without any concerns. The stiff leather can be a bit uncomfortable for too much rough play, but once you start to soften up the leather, they become much more forgiving for rough play. They do hold strong, though, and partnered with the locking bondage cuff buckle, that makes it even easier to recommend these as a good pair of cuffs for experienced players.
For cleaning, the tag says that you should use a moist cloth and a little soap and wipe the area off to be cleaned. You should pat dry them immediately to get up all of the extra moisture, and you should store the leather in a cool, dry place that is away from direct heat and light. Make sure you never submerge the cuffs in water. If you get bodily fluids on them, you probably should not share them with another person.
Overall, I like the Pink Candy Jaguar Cuffs. They have all of the makings of good bondage cuffs for experienced players (locking buckle, strong leather, good design and craftsmanship) or those that just want some gorgeous cuffs to go with your lingerie. However, you definitely do need to get some good use into these to soften up the leather for the most comfortable use.
