Love Glove Review

Love Glove
Showing the glove

The Love Glove is the Fukuoku Five-Finger Massage Glove available from the Athena’s Home Novelties store. This glove is waterproof and submersible, includes two different speeds, and includes a vibrator in each one of the fingertips. It takes three AAA batteries to operate this vibrator which are included. The battery compartment can be pretty fussy to deal with as it doesn’t look like your standard battery compartment, but it does come undone.

The packaging for the Love Glove is pretty basic. This Fukuoku glove comes in a cardboard box. This cardboard box can be opened up expost the glove which sits on a plastic tray. It comes with the batteries it needs as well as the glove itself. All of the wires and the power pack come preassembled and do not require any work out of the package.

I actually really liked the idea behind this glove. After all, most people know how to masturbate with their own hands, so why wouldn’t it be awesome to add an extra “oomph” to those things that we already do well? I was really looking forward to using this vibrating glove because it seems like natural sense to want to add vibrations directly onto your hand. I can have the pressure I want while still having vibrations that attach directly to my fingers.

The gloves work in a very simple manner. You just slip this glove on like you would any other glove. The power pack for the glove is located in the wrist portion of the glove. There’s a switch on the bottom of the power pack, and that’s how you control the vibrations. For each finger, there’s a cord that runs inside the glove to connect to the power pack. You can’t feel the cords while wearing the glove, and while the power pack is slightly annoying, it’s not a huge problem to have it on your wrist.

You can, however, feel the vibrational pads on each one of the fingers. They aren’t nearly as large as what you see with your average finger vibrator, but they are there. Think of it like having two quarters in each one of the fingers in terms of size and firmness. It doesn’t, surprisingly, get in the way too much during use. They definitely are noticed during use, but it isn’t something that really gets in the way of the movements that you’d normally make.

It does, however, feel different. You will have to make slight adjustments to what your hand will normally do, and you can’t press down quite as hard (due to having the rough piece in the gloves), but you can, for the most part, do what you normally do for pleasure. While these gloves are waterproof, I wouldn’t suggest inserting your fingers while wearing the glove just as it doesn’t seem like a good idea. However, I can’t think of any factual reasons why you shouldn’t aside from the fact that it just doesn’t seem like a good idea and the packaging says not to use it internally.

This vibrating glove has two speed settings. There is a low, and there is a high. There is no way to control individual fingers to be on or off. All five fingers are on or all five fingers are off. There is a low setting, and there is also a high setting with this glove. The vibrations are surprisingly buzzy, and I’d say that these vibrations are moderate at best. They aren’t the strongest vibrations, but when it comes to adding a little something extra to the things you already normally do, it works well.

The vibration strength is moderate, and the sound, even on high, could not be heard outside a closed door. The glove fits onto the hand comfortably, abnd because of the material, it doesn’t really breathe much, so your hand can get a bit sweaty. The glove I received fits a small/medium sized hand, and I usually swear large latex gloves. However, this one, while a little snug, did fit on my hand okay. You have to pick the correct glove for whichever hand you want to use it with. However, you could use the hand for the unintended hand. This will leave the vibrations not nearly as powerful (as they’re on the opposite side of the hand), but I didn’t havethat much success with using it this way.

I love the fact that this glove can be used for non-sex uses as well. The picture on the back of the box shows this glove being used for a back massage. This could be used to massage tense muscles, or for a male use, this could easily be used as a helping hand during a hand job. (However, I would avoid a stroking motion with this as it wouldn’t glide nicely over the penis.)

I was really concerned about cleaning with this. After all, it’s an electronic glove! However, the box does include specific cleaning instructions. The instructions tell you to hand wash with soap and water and let it air dry. The battery pack does not have to be removed. This can NOT be machine washed because of all of the wires in it. This is a waterproof glove, though, so you don’t have to worry too much as long as you keep the battery pack away from water. This can not be shared between partners, and it doesn’t pick up hair, so any storage is a good solution.

Overall, I like the glove. It doesn’t allow me quite as much pressure as you’re used to with your own hands, but it does add something special. It can also be used for non-sex purposes, and the glove is easy to take on and off as well as clean after you’re done. It’s not perfect, but this is the best “add vibration to your finger” toy I’ve ever tried. Thanks to Athena’s Home Novelties for sending me this massage item for my Love Glove review.
