The Sinclair Institute Select Onyx Prostate Massager Wand is a small, cyberglass toy intended to be used by guys for prostate stimulation. It’s made by Topco Sales. From one side to the opposite side, the toy is about five and a half inches long. At the widest point, the dildo has about a diameter of about 3/4 which which is a very comfortable diameter for an anal toy. The toy has about a 90 degree gradual curve which is supposed to make this sex toy pinpoint the g-spot as well as the prostate well.
The packaging of the Sinclair Institute Select Onyx is pretty. It’s a plain white box that looks very classy. Inside the box, there’s a little plastic window to let you see the Onyx inside the box. Inside the box, the Onyx sits inside a little plastic tray. The box is a big large for storage, though, and if possible, I recommend purchasing a storage pouch for storing this glass toy, but this box will work for storage if need be. I’m a bit surprised that this glass toy doesn’t come with its own storage bag to protect this glass toy.
One of my favorite things about this sex toy is the beautiful design. After all, how often do you see pure-black glass sex toys? I don’t see them often. Along with that, this toy isn’t only for guys; the curve can also work for the female g-spot. The handle of the Onyx has little bulbs on it to make it easier to grasp when lubricated, and the opposite side of the handle includes a little ridged area that is supposed to give more stimulation up against the g-spot or the prostate. This toy might be plain black glass, but as far as I can tell, it’s a toy that has been painted black. However, no matter how I try, I can’t get the black off, so it’s possible that it is black glass. Along with that, the dildo has a slight silver pattern all over the body of the toy,
This glass sex toy can actually be used for g-spot pleasure with females as well. It’s actually one of the prettier g-spot toys that I’ve seen since very few glass sex toys are made in black. However, this is one of those glass toys that I would much more highly recommend for partner use. This toy is definitely short. At about five and a half inches, that doesn’t leave much for a handle for thrusting/grinding while still having a good chunk of space for insertion. Having a partner use this on you works a lot better because they don’t need quite so much room to hold the dildo since the angle isn’t quite as awkward when you’re already down in the area.
For the prostate, this toy is actually a really great size for anal use. However, we weren’t able to really locate the “prostate”. I just think that the boyfriend really doesn’t know quite how the prostate feels when stimulated. However, he says that it feels very pleasurable, and while I was a bit worried about the toy not having a flared base, since we used it together as a couple, it didn’t seem to cause any problems. The curve of the toy seems a bit too extreme to be able to get this toy “lost” in the anal cavity. However, he did say that it felt really pleasurable, so if I had to guess, it did end up hitting his prostate.
Glass has a lot of regular properties, and this dildo includes all of those regular properties. For one, it tends to stay at about room temperature, so unlike stainless steel, it’s never really frigid. For another, glass is very slick, so it takes little lubricant (if any, when used vaginally) to lubricate the toy enough to insert. Along with that, if you’re a fan of temperature play, this dildo can be warmed or cooled using water in order to give it a new temperature for play. Glass is very slick, and it’s also very rigid. As such, the rigidity of glass makes it the perfect sex toy to use with g-spot or prostate pleasure.
Cleaning this Onyx wand is actually extremely easy. Because it’s made from glass, this toy can be boiled, bleached, or placed in the top shelf of the dishwasher for cleaning for sterilization. If you just want to clean it regularly, this dildo can be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap. I recommend using lubricant – especially for prostate use, and any type of lubricant is compatible with this glass sex toy. For storage, I recommend purchasing a storage pouch, but you can also keep it in the original box.
Overall, I like the Onyx Prostate Massage Wand. It’s a bit short for single-person use without a bit of awkward positioning, but when it comes to partner use, it’s the absolute great size for use with a partner. Plus, I absolutely love the curve of this dildo, and it definitely hits the g-spot during use, and while we weren’t too sure about the prostate pleasure, the curve should be enough to hit the prostate.
