System JO Mild Clitoral Stimulation Gel

The mild clitoral gel packaging

The System JO Mild Clitoral Gel is the third strongest clitoral stimulation gel that System JO makes. The gel comes in a little, easy to apply bottle that comes with 10 cc’s inside. The box claims that the gel should last at least 50 applications. The gel doesn’t seem to have any sort of expiration date.

The packaging for the System JO Mild Clitoral Stimulation gel is actually really neat. It’s basically a rounded box. The box ends are curved in to keep the product inside the box, and it works well as eye-catching packaging. The packaging also gives all of the information while the bottle only contains the product name, so be sure to keep (or memorize) all of the product information if you want to use the product at a later date.

I’ve never been one to try arousing gels all that often. After all, I have naughty thoughts, my hands, or even pictures that could do the job for me. However, curiousity has always gotten the best of me, and I just assumed that trying one of these arousal gels might be a fun experience. I still think it might be a fun experience, but I think this gel is just not the right one for me.

For those that don’t know, System JO makes four different types of arousal gels. There’s Light, Mild, Wild, and Atomic – that’s listed in order of strength as well. I can’t say for certain, but I’d imagine that System JO makes these gels in different strengths just to deal with the differences in the female body. After all, some of us are really sensitive while others need a lot of stimulation. Therefore, even if one stimulation gel didn’t work for you, it’s possible you need to move up or down on the stimulation strength to try and find the one that works best for you. I think I probably need to move up to the Wild since this Mild didn’t seem to do much. (I actually own the Wild as well, so I’ll have to try it now, and you’ll see a review soon.)

I was surprised when I first opened the System JO Clitoral Gel. Why? Because the bottle isn’t actually opened – at all. You take off the lid to the little squeeze bottle, and the bottle itself is actually closed as well. You actually have to go get a pair of scissors and cut off the bottle’s top to dispense the liquid. This wouldn’t have been so big of deal if I would have noticed *before* we were ready to play with it. Once you get the scissors out, we cut a bit off, but it still didn’t dispense. Bit more. Nothing. There’s just a fine line to where you can cut too much or not enough, and it takes a bit to find that little line.

The little clitoral stimulation gel bottle

While the name says “gel”, this isn’t much of a gel. It actually comes out pretty liquid-y. It’s much more like a bit of thick water than any sort of gel. This isn’t horribly bad except for the fact that it doesn’t seem to stay where I put it. I expected more a lotion-type substance, but this seems to have a bit of an issue with running down the entire vulva when applied instead of staying where you applied it.

How do you use it? The bottle says to apply a small amount to the clitoris and massage it in. After that, you wait about 3-5 minutes for the gel to start to work. After it works, it can last up to 45 minutes.

Maybe I just need to move up to the Wild, but I’m sad to report that I didn’t get any sort of results with this Mild gel. Waiting the 3-5 minutes was a bit silly in the first place, but I didn’t feel any results after I sat and waited. Looking at the ingredients, it looks like it’s supposed to produce a cooling sensation that would cause blood to move to the clitoris, but again, I didn’t feel anything at all. I’ve tried it multiple times, and there doesn’t seem to be any change. I’m really disappointed since I was pretty excited to try a clitoral gel. I’m hoping that the “Wild” gel has a bit more to offer since it should be stronger. I personally don’t think I’m very sensitive to sensation though, so that could be the issue. For those who think they are a lot more sensitive to sensation, this may be perfect and anything stronger may burn.

The ingredients for the clitoral stimulation liquid: Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotetrasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone, Peppermint (Mentha Piperita). Because there is no L-Arginine or homones, the box says that it is safe for women. (I don’t refute nor support that fact since I don’t even know what that ingredient is.) The box also states that it’s compatible with latex.

I wasn’t sure that this was going to work, and in the end, it didn’t end up working for me. I’m not sure if this is because my body is just not that sensitive or if it’s because the gel itself doesn’t work. If you are more sensitive, you may have more luck with it than I do. I think I’m going to go one strength step up to the “Wild” gel though. Thanks to System JO for sending me this JO Clitoral Stimulating Gel in Mild. You can also pick up the Wild, Light, or Atomic.

I was looking into getting this. I didn’t know they made different strengths. I guess I need to alter my wishlist, I would hate to get a clitoral dud! Thanks for the review!
