Specifically crafted for anal play, the Wicked Jelle Anal Lubricant is a plushy, gel-like, water-based lubricant. It doesn’t contain ANY desensitizers (yay!), and it includes a bit of olive leaf extract for whatever that does. As a water-based lubricant, Wicked Jelle is compatible with all latex barriers including condoms – and it can be used safely with any type of sex toy as well.
Wicked Anal Lube has some great features to its name including glycerin-free, paraben-free, latex-friendly, long-lasting, and vegan.
The Wicked Jelle Lubes come in a squeeze-bottle design with a flip-top cap. The lube is gel-like enough that it doesn’t leave the bottle (even with the bottle upside down and the lid open) unless you squeeze the bottle. You can purchase the Wicked Anal Lube in multiple sizes, but it seems like a 4oz and 8oz bottle are most-common.
Wicked Jelle Lubricant Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Cellulose Gum, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract, Disodium EDTA, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate
Wicked Jelle Lube Review: Out of This World
I’ll admit, out of the entire Wicked Sensual Care Lubricant line, the Wicked Jelle is, BY FAR, our favorite. We have a hard time finding a water-based lubricant that’s this thick and this long-lasting – especially without it costing over $40 a bottle. The Jelle does fantastically. It’s extremely gel-like; you can squirt it wherever you want and it doesn’t “run” at all.
It doesn’t last forever, but you can easily get five or ten minutes of constant activity and movement before you’ll want to add more. That’s just as good as most other water-based lubricants we have – and we love the texture more. It’s very slightly pillow-y – but not by much. When using it for intercourse, we never have had to reapply; it only seems to need reapplications for masturbatory or dildo use.
In fact, I really can understate how much we love the Wicked Jelle. Like, we really love it. It has been our lube of choice ever since Wicked Lubricants shipped out the initial bottle for us. (They’ve, by-far, made a huge profit on me alone at this point.) There’s a Wicked Jelle lube bottle essentially everywhere in our home, and it’s our lube of choice for anything that doesn’t involve my vagina. (My body is sensitive to ingredients, and while I haven’t had any reactions on the rare times the Wicked Jelle made it near me, I’m just always paranoid about switching from the lube that works for my very-sensitive self.)
That being said, we use it exclusively for pretty much anything else. If something requires lube in our house, the Wicked Jelle is going to be what’s pulled out. We have a travel-sized bottle for travel to kink events and hotel stays. We have the larger bottles for home use. There’s usually a bottle on the couchside table, a bottle near his computer desk, a bottle in the bathroom, and more-than-a-few bottles in the bedroom. We go through a bottle-ish a month because we use the stuff so darn often. It’s by-far his favorite anal and masturbation lube (out of all of the other options we’ve tried), and if we can’t order it (due to out-of-stock issues), he’d rather masturbate less and ration our supply of Wicked Jelle more than switch to another lube for a small period of time.
That’s some serious Wicked Jelle love.
Wicked Jelle Lubricant Review: The Packaging
The Wicked Jelle Lubes (if you get them bottled) come in a lovely squeeze bottle. I have to admit that I love the squeeze bottle design. It makes it really easy to dispense (including just a little bit if that’s what you want), and it sits upright without any issue. The upright design means that lube is always at the tip and ready to dispense when you open it.
After using the Wicked Jelle Lubricant for about 3 straight years now, I have to report that we’ve never had any of the bottles break or get damaged on us. No leaks either. We trust the bottles entirely, and they dispense lube in a really, easy-to-control manner. Zero complaints about any of the full-sized Wicked Jelle Lubricants bottles for use.
When the lube is a bit on the “empty” side, you definitely have to deal with the “shake and squeeze” problem – like your standard shampoo bottle. It’s more annoying than I like, so I generally have my partner use the 1/4-or-less bottles for solo masturbation since he doesn’t mind the process. I find it slightly annoying when all I want is a little bit – but it’s so empty that it doesn’t dispense easily.
On that note, though, make sure you try to keep your Wicked Jelle Lube bottle as un-lubricated as possible. As the tubes are just that (plastic tubes), they have no texture, and getting lube on them makes them genuinely slippery. We usually have to manually wash ours after use if we manage to get some lube onto the tube of the lubricant itself.
Cleaning Up the Wicked Jelle Lube
Like a lot of water-based lubes, cleaning up the Wicked Jelle lube is pretty simple; it’s part of why we love water-based lubes so much. If it spills somewhere, no biggie; we’ll just wipe it up or wash the item. It doesn’t cause any fabric discloration.
After sex, it cleans up just as easily. Some toilet paper can clean it up all on its own, but if you want a more-thorough clean, a washcloth with a bit of water gets the majority off. No need to involve soap or hop into the shower to scrub at yourself unless you’re into that. Which, y’know, if you are, have at it.
Final Wicked Jelle Review Thoughts
Overall, I can’t praise the Wicked Jelle Lube enough. My partner and I went through a LOT of water-based lubes looking for one that would work as well as Wicked Jelle does – and now that we’ve found it, we’ve been exclusively buying it for the last three years. This stuff is amazing, and we’re having some very-happy sex as long as there’s a full bottle in the bedroom. Thanks to Wicked Lubricants for providing their sex lubricants for my Wicked Lube review.
