Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator Wand Review

UPDATE JUNE 2026: The Studio Collection is no longer in production. This sex toy review remains as a reference for anyone who’s curious about the toy. While you’re here, why not check out some additional educational info – like online submissive tasks, beginner pegging positions, omorashi information, saran wrap bondage, and enema 101 info.

The Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator is a discreet vibrator designed to look like a mascara brush and is sold by Adam & Eve. It includes multiple vibration speeds, and it is waterproof. It’s made from plastic and silicone, and it includes the batteries needed for function (watch batteries). The vibrator is about four inches in height with a diameter of about a half an inch. This mascara vibrator is intended for external use only.

As someone usually buys a vibrator like this for discretion, I’ll talk about the design and discretion a bit. The discretion is…okay. From a distance, people probably wouldn’t know that it’s a vibrator. However, once you get up to it, it’s not very discreet. The outside cap is pretty wiggly which is a dead giveaway because a loose cap on a regular cosmetic would dry out the mascara. Along with that, the lid says “The Screaming O” in small letters. Once you open it up, the inside bristles definitely give away that it’s not a mascara wand though it doesn’t really “scream” sex toy unless you really give it a once-over and read all the words on it.

The control for this vibrator is on the button. Like where the vibrator sits when you sit it up. This really isn’t too much of an issue. The button is a bit “set into” the bottom of the vibrator, so it doesn’t really turn itself on accidentally.

This mascara vibrator uses three watch batteries. The vibrator comes with a set of batteries in it, and it also comes with another set of batteries for you to use as well. The batteries are easily inserted by twisting the base of the vibrator then inserting the batteries. I would have preferred it to use a AAA battery as it looks like the base of the mascara vibrator is large enough to do that, but the watch batteries work okay.

The mascara vibrator bristles looked a bit scary in the pictures. I’m happy to report that they really aren’t scary at all. Instead, the bristles are flexible and relatively soft. The material feels like a thicker version of what a condom’s material feels like but the material is thicker and has no scent. The mascara vibrator brush’s material does have some pretty decent drag to it, so you’ll want to be careful about how you pull it on the skin or add some lubricant before using it. The actual wand part of this vibrator is completely firm and stiff, but the bristles of the brush are flexible.

The vibrations are definitely on the softer side. They are definitely softer than what you’d get in an average vibrator and probably not enough for orgasm for most. The motor for the vibration seems to be in the handle of the vibrator, but the vibrations are still pretty easily felt in the mascara tip of this vibrator. It actually ends up being about equal in terms of the power you get on either end.

I must admit that I”m not a huge fan of the vibrations in this vibrator. The vibrations are definitely on the buzzy side, and when you add that to the fact that the “mascara wand” tips are little nubbly, flexible things that move around when the vibrator is vibrating, the entire sex toy ends up feeling more ticklish and giggly than sexual. It actually tickles me too much to be comfortable using it; it just feels too odd.

On the bright side, though, the vibrations are pretty quiet. They can be heard in the same room, but barely. They could be heard in a dead-quiet room like a bathroom, but as long as there’s some sort of noise going on, it’s hard to hear the vibrations.

I do have to admit that I’m not too fond of this vibrator. The vibrations are just not nearly enough for me to like it as a vibrator. I find the design and the idea of it really cute, and if it had the power, it’d be a more positive experience for me. If you like the tickly feeling of rabbit clitoral arms, this might work better for you, but if you like deeper and more pressurized vibrations, this vibrator may not be the best for you.

To clean this mascara vibrator, you will want to use warm water and a mild soap. As the bristles are not silicone, you will want to use this with a condom if you want to share it with other people. The vibrator is supposed to be waterproof, so you shouldn’t have to be too careful about water, and with the plain and simple design of the vibrator, it’s pretty easy to thoroughly clean this vibrator without requiring too much effort.

Overall, the Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator Wand could go both ways depending on your preferences. If you wanted something with some power that was really discreet, the Studio Collection Mascara Wand will disappoint. However, if you are okay with softer vibrations and a Mascara that is semi-discreet, the Studio Collection Mascara Wand could work fine for you. Thanks to Adam & Eve Sex Toys for sending this discreet vibrator for my Studio Collection Mascara Vibrator review.
