The Sex and Mischief Necklace is a unique and kinky necklace. Featuring the symbol “S&M” as the main charm, this chrome-plated copper necklace is silver in color. With a 20″ chain and the unremovable charm, the Sex and Mischief necklace is cute!
The S&M necklace comes in a black, see-through bag. This little bag is drawstring, and it easily works to store the toy. It also works as a cute way to give the necklace as a present, but as it is see-through and pretty hard to wrap as-is, you may have to find another box if you plan on wrapping it up as a gift. The cute drawstring bag works for storage of coins or other things, though, after you have the necklace out as the bag has no “sex” markings on it at all.
The S&M charm on the necklace is designed to stand for “Sex and Mischief”. However, be aware that S&M usually stands for “Sadism and Masochism”. Kinky both ways, but be aware that it could be taken different ways in different circles. Either way, even with the mass population, this may not be a necklace that you can wear in public unless you can come up with an excuse on the fly if your parents ask (“Oh! It’s for the Stocks and Mergers company! I really love them!”)
Surprisingly, the S&M Necklace is pretty easy to put on. We tried on a couple different necklaces after it was on (for shopping), and the S&M Necklace had one of the larger chains and one of the larger fasteners. It’s still not easy-as-pie (what necklace is??), but it is pretty simple to put on. It’s something you can put on yourself without much frustration which is always a plus in my book.
I do notice a lot of comments on the product page mention that the chain is too short. We didn’t notice any issue. The 20-inch chain worked fine for us, and we both have pretty wide necks. The chain sits about two-three inches above cleavage, but it shouldn’t be a choker or too tight – even on larger necks. The S&M portion design IS fully attached to the chain, so you can’t switch out to a different chain, but really, the chain length seems absolutely perfect to us; we didn’t even realize that people would mind the chain length until we saw the product page.
This necklace is really comfortable against bare skin as well. It doesn’t have any scratchy remnants left on the backside of the charm, so it lays really comfortably against bare skin. However, the chain doesn’t feel like silk, and it is noticeable. It isn’t scratchy or painful at all, but it isn’t small and delicate, either.
The only real “complaint” I have about the necklace is the fact that the S&M charm on the front easily flips over. It doesn’t really tangle the necklace or anything when it does, either, so you don’t really “know” it’s flipped over until you look in a mirror. The backside is still a nice, silver polished color, but it doesn’t have the gem-like appearance and the “S” is upside-down when it flips over. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it is worth mentioning so you’ll know to keep a semi-good eye on the necklace while you’re out and about.
There isn’t much particular cleaning you’ll have to do with this necklace. Do be careful when wearing it around water or harsh chemicals as you don’t want to remove the coloring from long-term or abusive wear. Aside from that, just be nice with it, and it’ll be a cute necklace!
Overall, I have absolutely no complaints about the Sex and Mischief necklace. Is it the most high-quality necklace out there? No, but for the price, I didn’t expect it to be. It’s great quality for the price, and it’s comfortable to wear. It’s cute, and it makes it easy to communicate your kinky tendencies to those around you.
