The Candy Colored Glass Dildo is a glass (not Pyrex though!) dildo sold by Babeland Sex Toys. The dildo comes in a multitude of colors, and it is about ten inches long with a 1 1/2″ diameter. The glass comes in a yellow, blue, pink, red, black, and rainbow color choice, and as it’s a double-ended dildo, either side of the dildo can be inserted for pleasure.
The Candy Colored Glass Dildo does not come with any particular packaging. This glass dildo comes wrapped in some brown paper packaging with a tag attached to the brown paper packaging. It’s not particularly attractive packaging, but it does keep the dildo safe from too much shuffle until you receive the glass dildo, so it does its job.
The Candy Glass Dildo is absolutely beautiful in appearance – and I mean that. Many glass dildos, while they may have color, tend to be a more muted color – not with this sex toy. All of the colors of this glass dildo are right on the surface of the glass, and they are very vibrant and beautiful. It’s hard to describe exactly how vibrant they are, but it’s definitely very easy to see them while looking at the sex toy, and you can easily see the “depth” of the glass and other colors while looking at a single color. It’s actually very beautiful, and it definitely gives the dildo a very unique look that is pretty difficult to find in any other glass dildos.
The biggest thing to note about the Candy Colored Glass Dildo is the fact that it’s not made of Pyrex glass. It’s made of a different, less sturdy type of glass. The biggest thing is that this dildo can NOT have extreme temperature changes such as boiling for sterilization or freezing. According to the dildo’s website, this choice was made because this alternative type of glass allows for brighter and more vibrant colors than Pyrex glass does. I have done a bunch of strength testing on this glass including attempting to break it by pure strength, and it doesn’t seem to bulge, so I have trust that it will be fine for sex use. However, it should NOT be mistaken for Pyrex glass, and it certainly should not be taken to extreme temperatures.
I love the bulged end on the main end of the Candy Colored Glass Dildo. It does have about the same amount of “curve” when compared to the curve on the opposite end, but it also has a couple bulges towards the tip of the shaft that make for an interesting sensation when inserting. The bulges can be easily felt, and they are extremely pleasurable for the sensation of removing then reinserting. The bulbs are just large enough to make that sensation easily felt while not being uncomfortable to repeat the sensation over and over. It’s actually a huge treat, and it feels great. For those with a shallow g-spot, your treat may be further explored because this dildo may hit your g-spot, but for me, the bulging sensation itself was more than enough to feel pleasurable enough and amazing.
The opposite, smooth end is also pleasurable on the Candy Colored Glass Dildo. It’s not my favorite, but the smooth end goes in really nicely, and the very slight curve helps make it feel even more pleasurable. I love smooth dildos, and the Candy Colored Glass Dildo has the longer end which has no texture and slides very nicely against the skin. If you have a shallow g-spot, the longer end will probably hit your g-spot, but as for me, it doesn’t hit my g-spot. It does feel quite pleasurable though, and for that reason, I’ll continue to use it.
One of my main complaints about the Candy Colored Glass Dildo is that it doesn’t come with any particular packaging or a storage pouch. The packaging is just some brown paper that needs to be thrown after you receive the dildo. The dildo itself is about ten inches in length. As you can imagine, that’s much longer than the average dildo. For that reason, it’s pretty darn difficult to find a nicely-padded storage pouch that goes that long in length. With that in mind, and with the price of the dildo, I do believe that some sort of storage bag should have been included.
To clean this brightly colored glass dildo, there are very specific instructions because of the type of glass. It CAN NOT BE BOILED OR FROZEN like traditional glass dildos are usually safe with. It will break it. If you want to sanitize the dildo, you’ll need to use bleach or alcohol. For storage, as it doesn’t come with a storage pouch, the best suggestion I can give is to store it in a large sock because most storage pouches do not go this large in length.
Overall, I really, really love the design, and I do love the shape of this glass sex toy as well. I can’t stand fully behind it because of some issues despite the higher price tag (the lack of a storage pouch and the non-Pyrex glass), but as long as you’re okay with those two things, I would still recommend it to most people. It’s a beautiful dildo, and while it may not hit everyone’s g-spots, I think the dildo feels pleasurable even if it doesn’t. Plus, it’s very sexy-looking!
