Semenette Ejaculating Silicone POP Dildo Review

Semenette Ejaculating Silicone POP Dildo Review

One body-safe, ejaculating, harness-compatible dildo, coming right up! That’s basically the Pop Dildo in a nutshell. Made from the same shape of the FunFactory Boss dildo, the Pop Dildo (made by Semenette) takes things one step further: it equips the already-awesome dildo design with the ability to shoot liquids. This silicone dildo is 7″ in length with a diameter of slightly over 1 and a 1/2″. The tubing is entirely removable for use without the ejaculation system. The manufacturer also sells Tube Refill kits with brand new tubes and bulb pumps to ensure you can switch out the tubing if you ever have any cleanliness concerns.

Like most FunFactory-manufactured items, the Pop Dildo comes in lovely packaging. There’s an interior box that slides into an external slipcover. The slipcover provides a lot of information about the toy, and the entire box is stable enough to be used for long-term storage of the dildo. To be honest, with all of the tiny bits and parts of this system, I’d recommend just keeping it in the original box. It helps keep things together quite nicely, and everything goes easily into the box. The Semenette POP Dildo comes with the dildo itself, a standard-sized pump bulb, 3 custom plastic tips, 3 replacement interior tubes, and 3 locks.

Let’s talk about the basic design of the Pop Dildo itself – ignoring the ability to ejaculate. The dildo is made of a nice, body-safe silicone. It’s definitely on the “draggier” side of things – even with lubricant, the dildo retains a slightly-textured feeling when dragging your fingers over its surface. The dildo also has a slightly-curved tip designed for g-spot or p-spot stimulation. The curve is not extreme enough to hit my own, but the flexibility of the tip is relatively minimal, so the dildo does retain some of this curve internally – and doesn’t bend easily into a straight shaft under pressure.

The Pop Silicone Ejaculating Dildo retains quite a fantastic bit of flexibility too. It has flexibility near the curved tip and near the middle of the shaft, but the dildo has very little give around the base of the toy. This works particularly well for insertion purposes. After all, when dildos fold easily in half (or compress near the base), it can be difficult to peg someone – and frustrating. The Pop Dildo has none of those problems. It has held its shape fantastically and with no problems.

The POP Dildo by Semenette might seem a bit scary/complicated to use at first, but it’s honestly pretty simple. I’d highly recommend watching the below video in addition to the instruction manual, though. The instruction manual makes it sound complicated and honestly could use some diagrams instead of full-text.

The basis? You are going to take the dildo and slide one of the included tubes into the hole in the toy – shoving it in from the base. Once you do that, you’re going to go ahead and attach one of the locks to the tip of the toy. You then connect the squeeze bulb to the other end. The tube will likely be sticking decently far out of the tip of the dildo. You slide this tube into a container/bowl/etc. of the liquid you’d like to shoot – using pressure you’ve placed on the bulb to draw the liquid into the hose and bulb. Once you’ve done that, pulling the tube from the base will cause the tip’s excess tubing to pull into the tip, and the tubing itself will disappear from view. You’ll be locked and locked and ready to go.

As a quick view of exactly how to use the Semenette Pop Dildo, check out their video. It does a fantastic job of showing everything at a glance:

Easy enough, right? That’s just the point. A lot of attention and love was given to the Semenette Pop Dildo. Many cum tube dildos have a non-removable tube – making it a pain in the butt to clean. Other dildos use a giant syringe to sploosh out all of the liquid – making it difficult to peg with or just meaning you have to stop the fun to attach a syringe. Other ejaculating dildos have the tube sticking out from the bottom of the toy -making it extremely uncomfortable to strap-on.

Semenette’s Pop Dildo does none of those things. The tube is entirely removable for simple, thorough cleaning. The base allows for the tube to stick directly out of the bottom -or out of the side of the base. There’s no uncomfortable, rough tip at the top. The silicone Pop Dildo also uses a small, attached squeeze bulb to squeeze out all of the liquid inside of the tube. The bulb is removable, but due to its screw-in design, it doesn’t fall off with lots of movement. It’s ready when you need it.

If you care about body-safe materials (which you likely should at least consider!), the Pop Dildo is one of the very few “mainstream” options that offer a silicone dildo that’s capable of ejaculation. Some of the dildo manufacturers that make fantastical options (such as Bad Dragon and their dragon dildos, etc.) make ejaculating dildos, but none of them seem to make body-safe somewhat-realistic human-based dildos. A lot of the realistic, human-based dildos out there seem to be made from hard-to-sterilize materials like rubber or PVC. Not the POP Dildo. The POP dildo is made from FunFactory’s trustworthy (and lovely) silicone, and you can be sure that you can sterilize and make this dildo ready for use with new partners/new uses anytime you’d like.

Another thing that sets the Pop Dildo apart from other ejaculating options is the small footprint of the tubing system. It’s not huge. It’s not unwieldy. While a longer tube system might make it easier to reach for odd sex positions for solo use, the longer tube system is usually a pain for partnered use – or just makes it too awkward for me to want to use in a strap-on harness. The Pop Dildo’s tube only extends slightly over 7″ outside of the base of the dildo when set-up and ready to go. It’s a small, easy-to-move around tube as well. It curls up easily, and as long as you don’t squeeze the bulb, the liquid doesn’t come out. When hand holding the dildo, it easily can just be gathered in the palm of the hand at the base of the dildo and held against the dildo with the bulb sticking out of the side. It makes for pretty comfortable, one-handed use with no concerns.

With all of those things in mind, the Pop! Dildo makes a fantastic strap-on ejaculating dildo. There’s really just no other toy on the market that “does” it as well as this silicone ejaculating dildo does. Why? Because the tubing is there – but it isn’t ridiculous or unmanageable. The tubing offers a squeeze-bulb that doesn’t slide off or doesn’t require “assembly” at the moment of ejaculation. The tubing slides easily under a strap on my strap-on harness, and whenever I’d like, I just pull out the tubing (to reduce squeezing the flow), press the bulb, and viola – ejaculation. It’s a 2-second process. Other dildos will require loading up a large syringe full of liquid at the moment of ejaculation – which certainly can’t stay in place during the entire penetration session. The POP Dildo makes it easy to move from “pegging” to “ejaculating” within seconds. It really does feel like a natural, comfortable transition.

Do you know what else it does fantastically? It works particularly well for all-day wear if you like to wear “hard”. The base is comfortable against the body, the dildo is flexible enough to get shoved up in panties/clothes, and with the tube design, the base’s tube never uncomfortably rubs against the body. In addition, it uses a very small amount of lubricant in its tube – which means I can pack a small travel-size bottle of lubricant in my purse or shorts, and when I’m ready to use, I just have to slide out the tube, suck some up, push the tube back in, and my already-worn dildo will be ready for squirting. (Though when wearing this in a harness, it takes a bit more effort than it’d seem. I’d recommend excusing yourself to the bathroom for a couple minutes, and you’ll be “locked and loaded” when you get back.)

Now what should you “lock and load” with? It really depends on your preference. The Semenette POP Dildo can be used with biological ejaculate to induce pregnancy if that’s your thing. It also can be used with virtually any other liquid under the sun – but use common sense. The manufacturer recommends POP Lube which is specifically formulated with Sliquid. (I generally love Sliquid lubes, so I’d likely enjoy this recommendation, but I haven’t tried it). I have, however, tried a couple water-y, thin water-based lubricants, and those work fantastic. Bad Dragon’s Cum Lube also works particularly well and has that “white” look that many ejaculate-viewers might be going for. (For purely visual purposes, we’ve found that White Chocolate Drizzle [found near the coffee aisle or ice cream aisle] mixed with some water will be thin enough and white enough to look about right. Please don’t put that anywhere near the butt or vagina, though.)

For best use with the internal tube, thinner lubricants seem to work best. Some of my thicker, “gel” lubricants don’t seem to shoot out with the same ease that the thinner ones do. Definitely stick with lubricant that is closer to a water-like consistency. Move the bottle back and forth in your hands to see the consistency of the lubricant in the bottle if purchasing a bottle specifically for the POP Dildo. You want something that splashes around pretty easily in the bottle. Do make sure to stick with water-based lubricants unless you do a spot test with silicone-based lubricants on the tube and dildo. (Though, honestly, cleaning the silicone-based lubricants out of the tube will likely be a giant pain in the butt, so I recommend sticking with water-based.)

It’s worth noting that the squeeze bulbs for the Pop Dildo – while fantastic in their ease of use and ability to stay out of the way – also can only hold so much liquid. If you want to shoot after exhausting your first “shot”, you need to reload the entire dildo again – or screw on another pre-loaded bulb. This means you’re pretty much limited to the size of the bulb in terms of how much liquid the dildo can hold. Semenette sells a larger bulb that holds more liquid, but it’s still much more on the “smaller” end of ejaculate scale compared to many dildos. If you’re hoping to give your partner a lot of liquids internally, this is probably not the way to do it.

In our experimentations, the receiver couldn’t feel the lubricant squirted into the body during use. You’ll definitely want something with more of a capacity for that. However, the dildo gives more than enough if you want a pleasant visual – such as ejaculation on the face or on the body. The dildo also does a pretty good job of adding internal lubrication if you’re just looking to slicken up someone’s insides for easier penetration.

Cleaning is not a simple task with the Pop Dildo, but it was designed to be as simple as they could possibly make it. The tubing system pulls directly out of the dildo. The squeeze bulb allows you to pull soapy water directly into the bulb itself and rinse out the interior of the bulb with drawing in the cleanser and then squirting it back out. The tubing can be tossed after use or you can (and should!) take the time to clean it thoroughly. Once the dildo is empty of the tubing system, the POP Silicone Squirting Dildo can be boiled or cleaned in a water/bleach solution for full sterilization.

The manufacturer recommends tossing the interior tubing after every use for full cleanliness reasons. In fact, it’s pretty adamant that you should do that. It’s up to you if you choose to abide by the recommendation – especially since the tubing seems like it’s made from silicone. While the tubing should be thoroughly and completely washed after every use, it may not be budget-friendly to replace the tubing after every ejaculation. The company sells a kit with 5 additional tubes and a bulb replacement, so when you replace the tubing (which you should on occasion or after any potentially concerning encounters), it’s possible to rebuy the tubing without splurging for an entirely new toy.

While it may defeat some of the reason some couples may be using the POP dildo, it’s also possible to use a condom with this dildo. You’ll still get the visual of ejaculating without possible bacteria contamination of the dildo’s interior tubing.

You can always use the POP dildo without the ejaculating tubing as well. If you’re going to do that, however, I’d recommend covering the toy with a condom to avoid getting difficult-to-clean fluids in the empty hole.

Don’t forget to use lubricant with your POP dildo’s shaft as well. While some silicone toys may require minimal lubricant when used for vaginal purposes, the draggy-type silicone of the POP Dildo is not one of those toys. Even with really lubricated orifices, it’s best to add some external sex lubricant. I’d recommend water-based lubricant, but if you’re dead-set on silicone-based, make sure you do a spot test along the base to make sure the lubricant is compatible with the material of this dildo.

Overall, while the Pop Dildo isn’t going to be loading your partner full of tons of liquid or lube, it’s one of the only non-fantastical, ejaculating dildos made from a body-safe material. Partnered with the attention to detail, cleaning, and a size and shape that will work well for quite a few bodies, the Pop Dildo by Semenette is one of those toys that I’m more-than-happy to recommend for anyone. In fact, it’s going to be the top of the list for anyone looking for an ejaculating dildo. Thanks to Pop Dildo for providing this silicone ejaculating dildo for my Pop Dildo review.
