Satisfyer Kegel Balls Review

Satisfyer Kegel Balls Review

An affordable way to train the pelvic floor, the Satisfyer Kegel Balls are three distinct sets of three individual kegel balls – all made from silicone. You can choose from the Satisfyer Power Balls, the Satisfyer V Balls, and the Satisfyer Strengthening Balls sets. All three sets are made from silicone and include easy retrieval cords.

All three sets are weighted Satisfyer kegel exercisers. Each set includes three kegel exercisers – a “Regular”, a “Skilled”, and an “Advanced”. The Regular, Skilled, and Advanced only vary by weight and color of each one within the sets; they do not vary in size or design. It’s just a gradual increase in weight between the three items included in each set. (Also, I’d like to point out how pretty the colors of these kegel balls are! They’re so gorgeous!)

Satisfyer Kegel Balls Review

In addition to the differences in actual design between three sets (two distinct balls, two less-distinct balls, and one singular ball), there’s a difference in weight. The Satisfyer Strengthening Kegel Balls and the Satisfyer Power Balls are similar in weight while the Satisfyer V Balls end up being about 20 to 50g heavier than the other two sets on each kegel ball. This means that the V Balls are, by far, the heaviest of the sets.

Each one of the Satisfyer Kegel balls has an easy-removal string made from silicone (the same silicone that’s on the balls themselves). This piece of silicone appears to be part of the single piece of silicone that the balls themselves are made of – not a new, additional piece of silicone. None of the Satisfyer Kegel Balls have a spot for a “finger” at the base of the balls for easy insertion. Instead, they all have the base of the retrieval string that hits in the center of the base.

^^: Left to Right: Satisfyer Strengthening Ball, Satisfyer V Ball, Satisfyer Power Ball

Satisfyer Strengthening Balls Kegel Balls
Designed to be the “easiest” of the three different sets, the Satisfyer Balls Strengthening Balls are single, weighted balls. These weighted kegel balls do not include any interior movement during use. They are just single balls.
Regular: 61.9g
Skilled: 82.1g
Advanced: 97.9g

Satisfyer V Balls Kegel Balls
Two very-distinct balls that are connected by a silicone strip in the middle, these are the “middle” set of the three sets. The attaching silicone strip is very flexible, and the balls can easily bend to touch each other. The V Balls are the heaviest set out of the entire Satisfyer Kegel Balls line. The “Regular” kegel ball is 20g heavier than the other two sets’ Regular balls, and the “Advanced” kegel ball is 50g heavier than the “Advanced” kegel ball in the other two sets. The weight difference is very noticeable, and this should really only be undertaken if you have experience with kegel balls and kegel exercises. It’s a heavy kit! It’s much heavier than most “advanced” kits out there, so again, caution on this one!
Regular: 79.3g
Skilled: 114.1g
Advanced: 150.3g

Satisfyer Power Balls Kegel Balls
Interestingly enough, the Power Balls are the only one out of the three that include moving interior balls. That makes them the most “sensation-producing” out of the entire three products. Honestly, unless you have a reason to use the other two sets (like you don’t like added sensation during your kegel exercises or need the added weight of the V Balls), I don’t see any reason why you’d pick up the other two sets. The weights are all similar, and the actual designs (with the balls) doesn’t *feel* like it makes that large of a difference. The internal moving balls in the Power Balls is, by far, the most pleasurable, though.
Regular: 60g
Skilled: 75.6g
Advanced: 91.6g

Let’s compare that with some other kegel balls:
Paloqueth Kegel Balls Set: 30g-80g
LELO Luna Beads: 56g – 74g
LELO Luna Beads Mini: 56g – 74g
Bedroom Kandi Hold On To Me: 25g – 80g
FunFactory SmartBalls Duo: 90.7g

Satisfyer Kegel Balls Review

Honestly, my biggest complaint about the Satisfyer Kegel Balls is their lack of any sort of “finger” area at the base of the balls. It’s not a deal-breaker for sure, but it’s a lot harder to comfortably slip something inside of you when there’s no “good” place to place your fingers to make that happen. As each one of the kegel balls has the tail’s stem right in the center of the ball – and it’s a decently thick tail to ensure that it doesn’t break during retrieval – there’s not a really good place to get a “grip” to push the toy into the body without pushing it at an angle. A lot of other kegel balls solve this issue by making the kegel balls’ retrieval cord attach in two places (leaving the center option), but that wasn’t done on the Satisfyer Kegel Balls. It does make getting them in a little bit more aggravating than it needed to be.

That being said, once the kegel balls are in the body, they’re pretty good stuff. They do exactly as they’re designed to do, and they don’t just easily “slide out”. They’re a constant reminder to tighten the muscles. The Strengthening and V Balls are a-okay balls, but honestly, I think the standout best of the three sets is the Power Balls. The interior moving balls definitely adds more constant attention to the area while wearing them while the weight-only isn’t quite as fun – even when the weight is heavier (like in the V Balls). Honestly, more fun is something I’m always going to choose.

When it comes to retention and easy insertion, the Strengthening Balls and the V Balls stay in the easiest. The slightly smaller size (and thicker material between the balls) means that they do slide out a little bit more easily if you aren’t paying attention. But hey – that’s what kegel balls are for: a constant reminder to squeeze the muscles and keep the toy in the place that it needs to be.

As a note, I have yet to feel any concern about the tugging strings breaking or coming undone. They seem awfully well-affixed to the kegel balls, and I’m pretty sure they’re going to stay there for a long, long time as long as you don’t overtax them.

Each one of the Satisfyer Balls comes in its own box. The cardboard boxes are thin, but playfully-colored. They clearly display the product on the front, and the boxes provide some information on the packaging about the toys as well. Inside each box, the kegel balls themselves are presented on a plastic tray that’s designed for their size. You can use this packaging for long-term storage of your new strengthening kegel balls, but the boxes aren’t particularly sturdy, so make sure you store them somewhere where they aren’t likely to get crushed. Each one of the boxes includes a short illustrated guide of some kegel exercises you can do with the toys, so that’s also a nice touch that might provide some inspiration for use as well.

Cleaning each one of the kegel balls after use is pretty simple too. As each one of the balls has minimal texturing, it’s pretty much as easy as dunking the kegel balls under hot, running water and using soap to use your hands to scrub them down. It’s definitely one of the easier toys to clean. The Satisfyer Kegel Balls are NOT labeled as waterproof, so I’d be careful with it, but as they have no moving parts or charging ports, I’ve been cleaning them in direct streams of water with no issue to the balls. (Though it may be building up internal mold if the toy actually does have an interior opening I’m unaware of).

After cleaning, it can be stored in the packaging if you want – or you can store them all in a plastic baggie as well. The kegel balls don’t include any sort of storage pouch or bag.

Overall, if you want kegel balls, the Satisfyer Kegel Balls deliver. They are exactly how they seem – kegel balls that work to help remind you to squeeze your vaginal muscles – and at a very affordable price point. Unless you’re really into the idea of a single ball, I think you should skip right to the Satisfyer Power Balls for the most sensation to make your kegel exercises as pleasurable as possible. And if you’re really experienced with kegel exercises and pelvic floor training, move past the Power Balls and go to the V Balls for the added heft. Honestly, you can’t find much heavier out there than the Satisfyer Kegel Balls V Balls. Thanks to Satisfyer for providing these kegel balls for my Satisfyer Kegel Balls review.
