When looking through some of the lingerie at this sex toy store, I was looking for a loose-type of lingerie for my crossdressing boyfriend. He seems to enjoy sleeping in the lingerie that is soft and feels silky against him. I prefer the lingerie to have a bit of a looseness to it because then it makes it more comfortable for him to sleep in. From the pictures and description, the Rose Red Babydoll seemed to be the answer.
The Rose Red Babydoll is a black and red babydoll that comes in small, medium, large, and extra large. It has underwire for the cups, and the cups are also opaque. The rest of the outfit is a nice, soft, see-through mesh. The majority of this outfit is red, but the trim and accents are black in color. The mesh is all attached to the upper cups, but it does have a sexy split along the left-hand side of the outfit. The straps are adjustable. The black trim and the black ribbon is all made from very soft satin.
The upper portion of the lingerie is actually really cute. As stated before, it actually has molded cups that include underwire for an extra boost. There is no extra padding on the inside of the cups. The cups are opaque, so your viewer will not be able to see through them. On the front of the cups, there is a cute, black ribbon that skirts across the top as well as black embroidery decorating the cups in a floral pattern. The cups have a little bit of space in between them, so this should lift and seperate your breasts pretty nicely. The red mesh that covers the cups continues to go around the back and eventually turns into a two-clasp bra strap. It has the standard three-setting sizes. Underneath the cups, there is a pretty black inch-wide satin ribbon that runs throughout the front. It ties around on the side underneath the left cup.
The bra straps look pretty basic. They have the adjustable plastic piece on them like most bra straps do. We had no problem adjusting it perfectly for him. The mesh portion is pretty basic. It has a lot of stretch to it, and since it’s mesh, it’s also see-through. Underneath the black bow from the top portion, there’s a large slit throughout the mesh that is intended to make the mesh much more free-flowing. It’s trimmed with a nice little piece of black satin that also trims the bottom of the mesh.
Underarms to bottom of mesh: 18″, total length: 24″
Circumference of under-bust portion: 28″, no stretch
Circumference of middle of mesh skirt portion: 32″ non-stretched, 44″ stretched (and more because of the mesh slit)
The thong is just a regular type of thong. It has a design on the front piece that matches the floral designs that are on the cups. Since Jor really doesn’t “fit” into a thong, he rarely wears them, and we actually have a small pile of thongs growing in the corner from lingerie that comes with them. It seems to have a decent amount of stretch to it, and if you wear a medium, it should fit you just fine.
Jor has a medium. This fit him perfectly. He’s exactly six feet in height, has a male body, and weighs about 145 pounds just to give you an idea. Obviously, he doesn’t have any breasts to actually need support, but the mesh drapes nicely down his mid-section without being too short and the adjustable straps can be adjusted to a height that is comfortable to him. It fits his breast forms quite perfectly, and the underwire doesn’t dig into his skin. He says the cups are actually really comfortable to wear, and he finds the mesh rubbing up against his skin to feel really sexy.
I think something worth mentioning is that the nice, pretty black ribbon, which is sewn onto the piece on both sides under the arms, is actually tearing apart and losing its stitching. It will continue to stay attached because it’s attached to the piece under the cups, but it won’t be attached on the side anymore. I’m not sure if this is the fault of the lingerie or not, because honestly, I doubt the manufacturers had intended to have a broad-chested male in their lingerie. This could be the fault of having it on a male instead of a female.
I really think this is a great outfit for those who want to hide a bit of stomach fat on their stomach. Because of the soft, flowing manner of the mesh, it doesn’t hug curves and actually adds some allure to the curves. If you have breasts you want to accentuate, this underwire top gives great support and will push your breasts up. The little bow and the detailing on the cups actually will direct the viewer’s attention up to your chest as well and away from any sort of problem areas you have on your stomach. Something to mention is that, while this will support your curves, I think this will only fit a C cup comfortably. Anything higher than a C cup, and I would recommend you go up to a large or an extra large to make sure you have the cup room that you will need.
For cleaning, the tag recommends machine washing in cold, tumble dry on low, or iron on low. It recommends not bleaching this as well. (Obviously) This is one of Jor’s favorite pieces of lingerie, so it hangs on a hook on the back of our bedroom door, but hanging this up on a hanger should work great for keeping the wrinkles out of it.
Overall? Gorgeous piece of lingerie. Really. It’s absolutely adorable, and I love the colors on it. The satin bow that’s coming off is probably due to Jor’s broad chest, and it won’t take me much to sew it back on since it’s right on the seam. The free-flowing skirt hides any sort of stomach flaws, and the cups will support your breasts perfectly. The see-through mesh leaves just the perfect amount of skin to the imagination. This is an amazing set, and I honestly can’t think of much to improve it. It looks well-made, has lots of detailing, and is just plain cute!
