Designed for anal sex (but functional for all types of sex), the MEO.de PlowBoy True Feel lubricant is a silicone-based sex lubricant infused with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. Packaged in a standard 100ml/3.4 ounce bottle, this lubricant is designed to be thick and offer long-term lubricating results to reduce reapplication. Plow Boy lubricant is entirely condom-safe and free from oil and perfume as well as CE-certified.
The PlowBoy comes in similar bottled packaging to many of the other MEO.de lubricants. This plastic bottle offers a pop-top top and is slightly flexible in order to be squeezed. The bottle doesn’t have any issue with leaking (nor have we had issue with any of the MEO.de lube bottles). The lubricant bottle isn’t discreet, though, and it does clearly have “PlowBoy” written on the side. The squeeze top works fantastically, and you’ll find the perfect amount of lubricant gets dispersed with every squeeze.
While we have fell in love with this bottle design, it’s worth noting that it can be a pain when the lubricant starts to run low – especially with a gel-like lubricant like the PlowBoy. Since the top of the bottle is slightly curved, it can’t sit upside down, and the bottle doesn’t allow for enough squeeze to easily move little bits of lube from the bottom of the bottle to the top in short moments. This means either accepting you’ll need to hold the bottle upside down for a bit before pouring it (a pain for sex), forgoing using the rest of the lubricant when it gets low, or finding a way to prop the bottle upside down by leaning against something. I’d love to see MEO.de just switch out the cap for a flat-topped cap, and that’d instantly solve the problem.
Like most silicone-based lubricants, PlowBoy does its job – and its job is to stay slick for long periods of time. A single application of this lubricant lasts a decent amount of time. If you have shorter sex sessions (less than 10 minutes or so), no reapplication necessary. For masturbation, it seems to last quite awhile as well – and it doesn’t leave a thick, goopy feeling like some water-based lubricants can. A little bit goes a long way, and this bottle will last awhile. The liquidy lubricant spreads out very nice and evenly without changing the feel of skin-on-skin. It’s a very natural-feeling lubrication. It’s worth noting that the lubricant is definitely on the water-y side. You’ll want to be careful while applying in order to keep the lubricant in only the area you want it applied.
One of the Plow boy lubricant’s benefits is that it’s made with Aloe. Aside from softening the feel of the lubricant a bit, it also seems to leave the skin a bit more nourished than other lubricants do. We’ve found that the only way to really “get” this benefit is to wash off the lubricant with purely water. It takes a whole lot more scrubbing than if you’d added soap, but if you add soap, it seems to rinse away a lot of the lotion-like properties of the lubricant. If you just wash away the lube after use with water, though, it does seem to leave the skin (the penis, particularly) feel pretty soft to the touch. It’s definitely a nice added benefit.
This silicone-based lubricant is safe for use with latex barriers including condoms. It may not, however, be safe for use with some silicone dildos. Make sure to do a small spot test on the base of your toy with this lubricant before going hog-wild and smothering the lubricant all over the toy.

As this is a silicone lubricant, cleaning up will occasionally be a giant pain in the butt. It’s silicone which means it’s pretty water-resistant. That means you’ll definitely want to watch where you let it drip – especially on hard surfaces like furniture. You’ll also want to make sure to close the bottle tightly before storing. To wash it off, you’ll need to use a decent amount of scrubbing with water – or just add a bit of soap in order to get it to clean off. It might take a bit more time to clean off than water-based lubricant, but then again, it’s designed to last a lot longer than water-based options.
Overall, PlowBoy lube is a fantastic choice for anything that’s safe for silicone-based lubricants. The lubricant tends to last a long, long time once applied. If you wash it off without soap, it also leaves the skin feeling particularly soft and gentle – and a little bit seems to go a long way. The bottle even makes it easy to pour without over-pouring.
