Nexus Vibro Prostate Sex Toy Review

Nexus Vibro Prostate Sex Toy
The Nexus Vibro Prostate Sex Toy

The Nexus Vibro is a Nexus prostate sex toy that includes the plastic toy and a stainless steel bullet. It can be purchased from FunWares sex toys. The Vibro is 4″ long with a body of an inch at the widest point; this is a small enough body for most anal beginners to take. The bullet uses a 6V battery which is included, and the toy also includes a roller-ball remover for easy cleaning of the toy.

The packaging for the Vibro looks very sleek and sexy. The packaging is a plain black with a seal that keeps the product inside. Once you break the seal, you can easily slide out the Nexus Vibro’s tray, and you’ll find the instructions, the bullet vibrator, and the Nexus vibro sitting right in the foam tray. This can definitely be used for storage, but do keep in mind that it is a slide-out tray, so it can not be turned sideways without the tray falling out.

While the toy does say “Vibrating G-spot Massager” on the front, from reading the instructions, it’s clear that it was intended for the male prostate instead of the female g-spot. It certainly could be used on a female (without much of any issue), but it’s just something to keep in mind when you consider the instructions.

The instructions are pretty thorough. It was created to be used a specific way: You are supposed to make sure the bullet is inserted properly, and then insert the toy with the roller ball touching the perineum. Once you do that, you are supposed to lay and relax for 10-15 minutes to give your anal muscles time to relax. You then are supposed to turn on the vibrations and use the toy in a way that feels natural to you – with either internal muscle spasms or just to push the toy into yourself.

Does it work that way? It works okay. I don’t know if most people have the patience to put in a sex toy and relax for ten minutes afterwards, but if you do, more power to you! For us, though, it was more of a “put it in and go right to playing” type of thing. You can get pretty creative about the uses of this toy; it works okay when pressed on the base and jiggled, and you definitely can move it with only your inner muscles as well. It does not, however, work well for large thrusting. The ridges on the toy are way too intense for that to be pleasurable; he remarked that it was just painful when he tried. If you tend to enjoy more extreme textures, though, it may be exactly what you want.

The best use, we’ve found, is to insert it and then jiggle it with your hands. You can do small thrusts, but any actual moving of in and out will end up being uncomfortable. If you have the inner muscle strength or patience, it does seem like it would also work well for an internal massage like that.

Like usual, though, we do have a bit of an issue with the fact that it’s plastic. It can be a bit uncomfortable because plastic is so unforgiving. This is certainly not something you can wear for non-sex uses just because it doesn’t bend to your body’s movements. The curve of the toy does seem about right, though, and the boyfriend remarked that he thinks it is hitting the male prostate really well.

The bullet vibrator that is included is not your typical bullet vibrator. It is made of stainless steel, and it is surprisingly heavy! It really does increase the weight of the toy when inserted. The battery cap is a giant pain-in-the-butt to get on, and that’s probably my largest complaint with the bullet. However, the vibrations are pretty good, and the fact that it’s made from stainless steel really does make the bullet feel and seem much more high-quality than most of the plastic bullet counterparts. It is slightly slimmer and much longer than your “average” bullet, though, so you may not be able to use it as a bullet vibrator for some of your other toys. You may not be able to find other bullets into the Nexus Vibro either, so that’s something to keep in mind.

The vibrations in the bullet are moderate. They are much more on the buzzy side – which makes total sense as this is a bullet vibrator. The stainless steel bullet vibrator includes five different vibration settings and is waterproof as well. The bullet’s vibrations do transfer well through the body of the Nexus Vibro, but they probably won’t be strong enough for external orgasm. The sound of the vibrations in the bullet really depend on how you use it. If you are using it in the toy and internally, it’s hard to hear it in the same room. If you are using it externally for other types of pleasure, it gets much louder and whiny-er, and it can probably be heard outside of a closed door if someone is getting nosy.

I can’t quite figure out what this “microchip” claim is though. The packaging and the product description talks about this vibrator having a microchip. According to the packaging, the “luxurious adult product posesses five powerful vibration settings controlled by a custom-made microchip that ‘tunes in’ to the male g-spot resulting in an orgasm like no other!” As far as I can tell, this bullet is just your average bullet – but made of stainless steel. I haven’t seen anything that would lead me to believe this has microchip superpowers.

Cleaning the Nexus Vibro takes a bit more time than cleaning some of the other anal toys. You want to make sure that you pop the little ball out of the socket before and after each use and clean it. This is to avoid any bacteria getting built up there. It can be cleaned using warm warm water and antibacterial soap without any issue. It’s also compatible with all types of lubricant, and make sure to use whatever lubricant you choose very liberally so things are the most comfortable. For storage, it’s plastic, so you can keep it wherever you want, but the packaging does provide a safe place for storage.

Overall, the Nexus Vibro is an interesting male prostate toy. I like the fact that Nexus has continued to add onto their Nexus prostate toy line with this one. However, the price tag is a bit high (as are all Nexus prostate toys), so I would definitely recommend trying out one of the cheaper Nexus toys before moving on to this one so you know if the shape works for you. The stainless steel bullet is definitely a neat addition, though, and with the quality of this one, it’ll be around for a very long time.
