My Plaything: Ashlynn Brooke is an interactive adult DVD. In fact, it actually was my first interactive DVD which I received from this adult toy store. I’ve never owned one before now. It features Ashlynn Brooke who is a popular porn star. The set includes three DVDs – one for the “Good girl”, one for the “bad girl” and one for all of the special features. The case is a regular sized case as well even though it holds three disks.
So, basically, both of the disks have about the same premise. You get to choose what you want to do to Ashlynn Brooke. Each disk has about the same options. You can choose to “Tease”, “Masturbate”, “Foreplay” or “Sex”. Each of those categories has even more specific choices under it. For example, under “Tease”, you can “Tease” “Tits”, “Ass” or “Pussy”. I guess I can’t ask for politically correct terms on an adult movie, huh? Under all of the options besides “Tease”, you can also choose to use the “Cum on Command” option which stops all of the action and makes Ashlynn have an orgasm. However, during the “Sex” options, the “Cum on Command” option applies to the guy instead of Ashlynn.
Basically, what this DVD is is just an entire pornographic movie, but just split into parts so you can choose to “do” and watch what you prefer with Ashlynn. Each little piece is split into its own section and if you let it sit there long enough, it will go into the “Orgasm” sequence all on its own. After it goes into the “Orgasm” sequence, if you continue to leave it on, it will go onto whatever is next on the menu. This means that, if you don’t want to be interactive on that specific day, you can easily choose to just press play at the beginning and let it play through the entire movie. However, if you choose that option, be aware that your porn is going to follow a very specific sequence. It will go from the teasing, to masturbation, to foreplay, to sex.
In the sex option, you are given the choices to have sex with Ashlynn in different positions. Each one is from the point-of-view as if you were actually having sex with her, so you only will see your arms and your penis along with Ashlynn’s entire body. In the foreplay option, you will be given the option to use fingers, full body, tongue, or to make her give you a blowjob. The masturbate option includes “Fingers”, “Dildo”, and “Vibrator” but what exactly she does depends on what disk you are watching.
Now, the good girl disk is a disk of her following certain roleplays. During the entire DVD, she is clothed in cute, white lingerie to look innocent. During the foreplay scene, she’s wearing a schoolgirl outfit and offers for you to “teach” her some lessons. During the masturbation scene, she’s in a cheerleading outfit hanging out in the school locker room. During the foreplay and masturbation scenes, she’s just wearing her hair in pigtails in the white lingerie. For the dildo option, she uses a rabbit vibrator on herself and for the vibrator option, she pulls out a little pocket rocket.
The bad girl disk is just full of her being more “naughty” than innocent. In her scenes, she’s wearing black lingerie and is much more forward than she was in the good girl disk. During the tease scene, she seems to be in some underground public place. During the “masturbate” scenes, she’s in a jail cell. During the foreplay and sex scenes, she’s just laying on a purple-sheet bed. I’m honestly not very fond of the camera angle on this disk for the last two options. She seems so stiff and so forced because of the camera angle. She doesn’t seem like she’s really enjoying the action like the action wants you to believe. I think a different camera angle really would have helped it.
The special features on this disk are about what you’d expect. There are some deleted scenes, a personal interview with Ashlynn Brooke, bonus scenes, a photo slideshow, trailers, dvd credits, company information, and content that can be accessed by putting the disk in your computer. The deleted scenes are all scenes from this DVD series that they chose not to use. There are six different scenes in total. For example, there is a Masturbation with fingers scene that they chose to leave out. The bonus scenes are five different sex scenes with Ashlynn Brooke in them from some of her other porn movies.
Depending on what you are watching, some of the options look a little faked. The case says that the orgasms are real orgasms, but I’m honestly not sure. I think her orgasms during the masturbation scenes seem to be mostly real, but I sincerely doubt some of the other orgasms. Or maybe she’s just over-reacting to her orgasms. It’s really hard to tell just by watching. It wasn’t too bad to watch, and the scenes on the good girl and the bad girl disks are actually different enough from each other that it’s like watching an entire new porn disk.
The acting itself isn’t bad. During some of the scenes, she seems like she is really overreacting. Some of the screams and moaning seem a little overacted. However, the porn does do a good job of making you feel like you are the one having sex with Ashlynn. It’s all very predictable though. There’s nothing amazingly unique about all of this. It’s all just a basic porn, but it does do a good job of making you feel like you are really in on the action.
Because of that, I’d recommend this to someone who is looking to have sex with Ashlynn Brooke or to feel in on the action with sex. However, if you are looking for something unique or something that has a story or brings something besides just regular sex to the table, this isn’t the DVD for you. But for first-person sex, this DVD is a good pick. While this sex toy store doesn’t carry this exact DVD at the moment, they do carry My Plaything: Gianna which is the same premise.
